~Every story have a happy ending. If it is not happy, it is not the end yet~

Siddharth's POV

"I am not going to leave Ananya until she tells me what is going on," Vikram muttered under his breath. We started walking back to the place we parked the car, defeated without finding anything. I don't know how is Priya now, whether she is fine or not. Damn, I don't even know whether that bastard is still keeping her alive. As much as I could tell she ruined Ananya's life, without Priya I wouldn't have gotten my Ananya. I don't hate her as much as Ananya hates her.

Of course, I am mad that she made Ananya suffer in the past, but I don't hate her. She is a protagonist in our story without even her realizing. I am sure, even Ananya don't hate her now after she listened to her apology on phone earlier that day. When the day started, I didn't realize this is going to turn out this way. It feels like the morning we went to baby shopping was so long before, but it's only afternoon. At most, it's just 2 in the afternoon. It's going to be two hours since the phone call and we are standing in the middle of the road not knowing what to do.

"Damn Priya, where the hell are you," Vikram mumbled under his breath, but I heard him. Honestly, we all feel hopeless just like him. I can't even imagine how he is feeling right now, considering it is his blood sister kidnapped right now. Vikram kicked the ground in annoyance.

"Can you call your friend and see whether he found anything or not. How long are we supposed to be standing here without doing anything?" Vikram asked me and I nodded. I took my phone out and was about to dial Aadvik, when my phone rang.

"It's him," I said and answered the phone, putting it on speaker so everyone can hear what Aadvik has found. I just hope it is something useful.

"Sid. I think I found something. Priya have been to the woods behind the church for like three times in the past. Her Uber history is showing it. When I started digging a little more, I found out there is a old cabin that belongs to Mr.Hari, Sanjeev's father. If you walk into woods opposite to the church, you might find the cabin or something," Aadvik said.

"Thanks bro. See whether you can find anything else. Just in case," I said and he hummed in response and hung up.

"I think we can move now," Dev said. His men came from the warehouses and the school when we were waiting for Aadvik's call. We all quickly moved to the woods behind the church. Earlier, we parked in front of the church, so we started walking. We planned to surround the cabin, so that he and his friends will never get the chance to escape.

"I am so killing that bastard when I see him," Vikram grumbled and Dev had to calm him down telling he cannot kill him and all. It was just a 3 minute walk into the woods, and we could see the cabin clearly. Again, it looked like there were not many people around there. But, he could still have a weapon. The men surrounded the cabin and Dev took the lead to enter while we both followed him closely.

Dev had his gun in position and even Vikram had his one ready. It was an old cabin. Each of the door was creaking and it looked really weak, that it will crumble down at any moment. When we neared the entrance we couldn't hear any noise. I started to doubt it that he is going to be here, because it was really quiet that no one could think someone is being held hostage. Or.... Or he killed her and left this place already? I just hope it is not the case.

We peeked through the small opening of the door and found no one. Dev pushed the door slightly and it made a creepy creaking sound and we all stood in our place. If he had heard this, then he would know we are here. We waited to see whether we heard any footsteps and found none. So, we moved further. The opening now was large enough for us to enter. So, Dev entered first, followed by Vikram and me. When we entered inside, I saw three doors, two on our right and one straight ahead of us.

We were about to take another step forward when we heard someone talking. The words were not clear but we could hear more like a muffled voice. Who is it? Is it Sanjeev? It is coming from one of the doors in our right. Dev pointed to the door nearest to us and we nodded. I think he is trying to tell, we are going to try to enter. The door was open as well but not fully, enough for us to peek inside to see what is going on. Dev was the first one to see inside, Vikram and I stood behind me. We cannot see inside because there is space for us. Dev's eyes scanned through the room and he sighed before shaking his head.

"Are you sure this idiot kidnapped her?" Dev snorted and I frowned. Before I could ask him 'why' he pushed the door open making a loud shrieking noise. Vikram and I was shocked, because it might've alerted him. Dev entered the room and we followed him inside to see a very beaten up Priya tied to a chair and stumbling Sanjeev.

"He is under influence," Dev grumbled. Vikram rushed to Priya and checked whether she was alive. Seeing Vikram sigh in relief made me happy because it means she is alive.

"Vikram carry her to the car and go to hospital. I will deal with him," Dev said and Vikram nodded. He started untying the rope around her, when we heard two gunshots. The gunshots startled Sanjeev awake and he looked at us confused before realization hit him. He seemed to sober up and started searching for something. When he couldn't find it around him, he looked behind us. I turned behind and saw a gun in the table behind us.

"Searching for this?" I mocked him. Dev held his gun straight to his face to make him stay in place. Vikram managed to carry Priya in bridal style and went out. One of the guy entered the room and said, "Sir, we had another two, I think his friends, under influence as well. We had to shot them because they had gun," the guard said and Dev nodded.

"So, Siddharth. Do you want to kill him or let him have his years in jail?" Dev gave me two options.

"Dying will be too easy for him. Let him leave the rest of his years in the jail," I said and Sanjeev's face paled.

"S-Siddharth you cannot do this. I l-loved Ananya," he slurred.

"You are a psychopath Sanjeev, a psychopath who think you love her when all you feel is the need to own her. Yours is not love Sanjeev. If it was you wouldn't have tried to kill her baby. Just go to hell," I spat and went out. I waited outside the room for Dev. Dev came out of the room with a handcuffed Sanjeev behind me, held by two guards. He told something to the man standing outside something to which he nodded in response. Then he came to me.

"My men will handle him. He will be remanded until I get the evidence. Plus, they were using drugs as well. That only is enough, and added with kidnapping and attempt to murder, he will be sentenced to a long period in jail. We should take a cab or something to the hospital," Dev said and I nodded. As he said, we hopped on a cab and went to hospital. He wanted to get Priya's testimony, so he tagged along.

When we reached the hospital, we paid the cab and went inside. I asked for Ananya's name and the nurse at the reception told me to go straight and turn left. When I went there, I saw Riddhant sitting on the chair with Ananya's father and stepmother in the opposite to him. When he saw me, he stood up and rushed to me.

"Your friend came just now. She is inside now with Ananya. The doctor said nothing to worry, she was just stressed. The baby and her are absolutely fine," Riddhant reassured me.

"Is she awake?" I asked him.

"Yeah, she wouldn't stop worrying. She just didn't wanted to stay in there. She was asking me to call you and ask what is happening and all," Riddhant sighed and I nodded. I opened the room door she was in and went inside.

Ananya's POV

Sandhya was trying to calm me down, but how can I be calm? The moment I woke up in hospital, I was scared that something happened to my baby boy. Thank god, the doctor said we both were fine. The doctor had an IV attached to me and she said I can leave when the bottle is finished. But, they are not letting me go. It's been long since the bottle had finished and I haven't heard anything from Siddharth as well.

Every passing minute, I feel like I am going more crazier. Sandhya was here 20 minutes ago and she's been trying her best to calm me down. Cutting of her rambling, the door opened. The person I was waiting to see for so long was standing there.

"Siddharth, is Priya okay? How are you? Where is Vikram bhai?" I asked him. He came to my side and hold onto my shoulder to calm me down.

"Priya is safe now. She was beaten up by Sanjeev and currently getting treated. Vikram is with her and I am fine," he said and I sighed.

"I told you to stop worrying Ananya. See now you fainted because of this," he scolded me. I looked down because I know what I did was wrong. But, I couldn't stay calm when I didn't know what the hell was going on out there. I mumbled a sorry and he sighed. He hugged me tightly and buried his head on my neck. Sandhya excused herself and went out.

"I was just scared when they said you fainted. But, I promised you I will come with your sister, so I stayed there to find her. I am just glad you and our boy is safe," he muttered and I nodded, wrapping my hands around him.

"I think we can go see her now. They should be at the ER," Siddharth said and I nodded. I got off the bed and went out with him. I was fine enough to be able to walk properly.

"Did Vikram called you?" Siddharth asked Riddhant and he shook his head. Siddharth told them that she is in the ER getting treated for her injuries. My father boiled in anger and gave me a hard glare.

"This is all because of you," he spat at me and I just got more closer to Siddharth, while he wrapped his hand around me and pulled me closer, protectively. As much as I want to deny it, lowkey I know I am to be blamed, because Sanjeev involved her just because she was my sister. We started walking to the ER department and I saw Vikram bhai standing outside looking exhausted. When he saw us coming, he tried to send us a small smile.

"How is she?" I asked him.

"Nothing too bad. She was beaten up by him, so she have two broken ribs and her ankles seemed to be sprained. Other than that, just some bruises here and there. The doctors said, they beaten her with intervals," Vikram bhai sighed and I nodded. My stepmother started crying again. The main reason I was stressed out just now to the point of fainting was because she was keep on crying and honestly that made me feel bad. Yeah, she didn't treat me good, but she didn't treat me bad as well. She will still give me food, and will just act like I am not even there. She didn't try to treat me like I was a plague. Compared to her, my own father treated me more bad. Because, I was just a mistake on his part. We all sat down outside the room.

After a while the doctor came out and said they are shifting her back to the normal ward. We were not allowed inside the room she was currently in, and the doctor requested we all go wait near the normal ward for her. So we all nodded and went back to the block we came from. There are the private rooms for the normal ward was. It was pretty expensive, but my family would've no problem in paying it. It was pretty big, so it could have all of us inside and not feel crowded.

We waited for like 20 minutes, before the nurses pushed a sleeping Priya in the stretcher into the room. My stepmom and father rushed to her side and made sure she was okay. Riddhant sighed in relief. Me, Vikram bhai and Siddharth was standing near her bed.

"Can you please sit down? I don't want you to faint again," Siddharth whispered in my ears. I sighed and took a seat near the couch behind us. The doctor entered the room and checked her report. Then, he said something to the nurse behind him, and the nurse nodded before going out.

"Is she okay?" Riddhant asked.

"Yeah, she is absolutely fine. Her wounds will heal after a few days of rest. She will wake up in like one or two hour the most," the doctor said.

"Thank you doctor," Vikram said and the doctor smiled politely. Then, the doctor went out and the room was in total silence, until Vikram bhai broke it.

"Where is Dev?" he asked Siddharth.

"He went back to handle something with Sanjeev. He said he will come back later to get Priya's testimony," Siddharth said, calmly.

"What happened Ananya? What are you not telling me? Why suddenly everything turned out this way?" Vikram bhai sighed.

"Bhai, whether to tell you or not, it is Priya's choice. I won't do that for her. I am sorry bhai," I said and he ran his hand through his hair. After like 40 minutes of pure silence, Priya started stirring in her sleep. Riddhant went to her side and checked on her.

"Priya, you awake?" Riddhant asked softly. She just hummed in response, her eyes still closed. After a few minutes, she finally opened her eyes. Her eyes adjusted to the bright light and she scanned her eyes around the room. She smiled weakly at us.

"Can you talk?" Vikram bhai asked and she nodded.

"Good, then tell me why the hell would you go to his cabin on your own?" Vikram bhai asked.

"Urmm, Vikram call Dev and tell him she is awake. He can get her testimony as well. She won't have to tell twice then," Siddharth suggested and Vikram nodded before calling Dev. We all waited patiently, well, not so patiently, for Dev to come.
