~There's only one thing more precious than our time, that's who we spend it with~
Ananya's POV
We reached there in like 15 minutes. The 15 minutes felt like hell to me. Each passing minute, I don't know what Priya is going through there. I don't know what that creep is doing to her. I heard him slapping her. I don't know whether he was abusing her or anything else. Hell, I don't even know whether she is still alive. 15 minutes is a long time for someone to kill another.
And, here I was standing in front of the house I grew up for like 20 years of my life. The house that contained many memories of me and my brothers, even Priya who hated me. The same house, my father didn't wanted me to step foot on. I am back to the same house today and I am not happy, not even a bit. Pushing all the thoughts behind the back of my head, I followed Siddharth into the house. As soon as we reached the entrance, I saw Vikram bhai pacing around the hall, with both my father and stepmother sitting on the couch watching television.
"What the hell is happening?" Vikram bhai asked me as soon as he saw me. "Ananya are you okay?" he rushed to my side and I immediately hugged him and cried.
"Ananya, you are scaring me. Please tell me," he asked, hugging me back. "At least you tell me," he turned to Siddharth who was standing beside me, awkwardly.
"Urmm, when we were in the mall, we got a call from Priya telling she went to meet Sanjeev and that he is trying to kill her," as soon as Priya's name was called, my father and stepmother got alert and got up from the chair. "Sanjeev is my colleague and also Ananya's senior by one year. He fell in love with her and when he found out we were both together, he did somethings to take her away from me. He stole the design I worked for two years and asked me to exchange it with Ananya. When I refused, he tried giving her food that contained abortion pill. Just because all that didn't work now he did this. We have to find Priya before something happens to her," he finished and I was still hugging Vikram bhai.
"You idiot. I knew nothing good will come from you. Why would you try to get my daughter into this. I knew you always wanted my attention, so now you steal my daughter away from me?" my so-called father shouted at my face and my stepmother broke down crying for her daughter.
"Why you didn't tell me any of this Ananya? I would've helped you," Vikram bhai asked, his voice strained.
"Bhai, let's not think about past. We should find Priya before that bastard does something to her," I said sobbing on his chest.
"But, why would he try to kidnap Priya? How does he even know her?" Vikram bhai asked.
"Can we please talk about this later?" I pleaded. I don't them to know what she did to me, because I already forgiven her. I gave Siddharth a look that says not now and he understood.
"You did this on purpose didn't you? You always wanted to destroy her life. Now, you just going to get her killed," my father grumbled.
"Excuse me sir, I am sorry to interrupt, but my WIFE has done nothing to Priya," Siddharth said, standing up for me and this made my father more angry. Siddharth continued before my father could reply, "I already asked my private investigator to track her phone down. We cannot find the exact location because the call is not live. But, we can find the area she is in from the tower the signal was received. When we were talking on the phone just now, I heard church bell in the background. So, in the area we just have to find a secluded place in 1km radius from the church. She also said, he have some friends with him. I don't know how many," Siddharth said and I was shocked how he was so attentive to the details. I was just busy listening to Priya that I didn't hear any church bells or something.

By the time, Siddharth finished talking, a man in his early thirties entered the house. He was in formal attire. He scanned the room and his gaze finally landed on Vikram bhai.
"Vikram, why did you wanted me here?" the man asked.
"Dev I need your help. My sister has been kidnapped and we are trying to locate her. But, we need back-up when we go there. Can you arrange some?" Vikram bhai asked. The man, or Dev's attention turned to me and he gave Vikram a confused look.
"Not Ananya, my another sister, Priya had been kidnapped," Vikram bhai explained as if he understood what his confusion was about.
"That's why. I saw your sister here and I was confused who was kidnapped. Alright, I will arrange the back-up. Did you get the location already?" Dev asked and Siddharth took out his phone and called someone.
"Hello Aadvik. Did you find her location?" Siddharth asked. He turned on the speaker so that we all could listen to him.
"Not yet Sid. The phone she used wasn't hers. She used a satellite phone and I have to break down the system before I can trace it," the man said.
"Can you please make it fast?" Sid asked.
"Yeah man. Just 5 minutes I guess," he said and Siddharth hung up on him.
"We have to wait," Siddharth said.
"Ananya, will you please tell me why he kidnapped Priya? Why is she involved in this?" Vikram bhai asked, running his hand through his hair. A gesture he does when he is stressed or frustrated.
"No bhai. I don't want to tell. Please understand bhai. This is has nothing to do with me. I will never put her in danger," I said and he sighed.
"Alright, go sit down. You've been standing for so long. You are going to get tired," he said and I shook my head.
"No bhai, I am fine," I muttered.
"Ananya, I promised you, we will find your sister. Now, don't argue on this and please take rest. You know I don't want anything to happen to our baby," Siddharth said. I sighed and sat the couch, opposite to my father. His glare was still on me.
"If anything happen to her, I will never leave you alone," my father threatened me.
"Pa, this is not the time, okay?" Vikram bhai warned and my father glared at him instead. After like three minutes, which felt like an hour, Siddharth's phone rang and he answered it almost immediately.
"Sid, I found it. The only church in the area the signal was received is St Thomas church. You just have to search in 1km or 1.5km in maximum, because a church bell's frequency could only travel that much. That's all I could do bro," Aadvik told, the phone was on speaker again.
"Thanks man. I will call you after. I owe you one. And, help me locate Sanjeev's phone location. Also, track where all he went the past four months. Track Priya's also," Siddharth said and hung up on him.
"Urmm, do you think your back-up is ready?" Siddharth asked Dev and he nodded.
"We can start moving I guess. I already sent the location to the back-up and they will be there. I asked 3 of my best men to come since we don't know whether he is having any weapon or not. Plus with us, it will be 6. Better be safe," Dev said and they all nodded.

"Ananya, I want you to stay here okay? Don't worry. I got her. I will not let anything happen to her. Please stay home, and relax. Don't stress yourself. It's not good for our baby. Okay?" Siddharth asked, holding my shoulders.
"No, I am coming with you. I don't want to stay here," I argued.
"Ananya, what he says is true. You can't come there. It is dangerous for you and your child. Please stay home," Vikram bhai said and I frowned.
"Alright be safe," I hugged Siddharth and then Vikram bhai. "Please come home safe with Priya," I whispered and they both nodded and went out with Dev. I just sat back at the couch and kept looking at the door they disappeared through. I sighed and prayed to God to keep all of them safe.
It's been 40 minutes since Priya called me, and I don't know what happened to her. I just hope she is safe and he haven't kill her. I just want her alive, that's it. A girl who already realized her mistake, doesn't have to go through this. No matter what she had done to me in the past, she called me to apologize and she was ready to testify for me. That's more than enough to show that she is regretting her mistake.
I didn't tell Vikram bhai or anyone about what she did was because she wanted to confess the truth because she thought she was dying. And, she wouldn't want her family to know when she is alive. That is why I didn't tell anyone. Let the fault remain mine.
Siddharth's POV
We got onto Dev's car and drove to the location. Dev was driving and me and Vikram sat at the back.
"Will you at least tell me why Priya is involved in this?" Vikram asked.
"I am sorry. It's Ananya's decision whether to tell you or not. I can't do this to her," I said and he just grumbled under his breath.
"Why you didn't do anything to him even after he did this much to you both?" Vikram asked me.
"He threatened me, he will do something to her if I complain against him about the design. We didn't have evidence that he was the one who gave abortion pills to Ananya. But, I did filed a complaint against him and got a restraining order on him. I also had guards around her all the time. I just didn't think he will target Priya with this," I said. Vikram just kept quiet to it. He didn't tell anything after that.
After like 10 minutes we reached the church. The church is near to Vikram's place. But, it is half an hour away from my house. I didn't think Sanjeev will be this much of an idiot to be here.
"In 1km radius, there is a closed school and two empty warehouses. This are the possible places he could hold her hostage. I separated the men into three groups and I already asked them to go there. There are spying there, so I am going to the school. You both stick together and go to the warehouses, together. It's close to each other. Stick together, okay?" Dev said and we both nodded.
"Vikram, stay connected with me on phone. Here is a gun. Use this if you sense danger. Stay safe. You will find my man hiding there. If even before we reach there, we got news about where your sister is, we will go straight to that place. Until then, we go to the assigned place. Be safe, because you don't know whether he have any weapon or not. Don't underestimate the enemy alright?" Dev asked again.
"What about you?" Vikram asked, showing the gun.
"I have the one the department gave me. This is my private gun. You don't have to answer for the bullets. But, don't kill the innocents alright," he joked and we just smiled. Vikram and I went in the opposite way of Dev. The warehouse if like 5 minutes away from each other. We started running to the first warehouse. Vikram stayed connected with Dev through the phone.
We reached the first warehouse and we found Dev's man standing outside.
"Hey, did you find anything?" I asked the man standing behind the tree, facing straight to the entrance.
"No actually. I didn't see any movement, so I went inside and it is empty. I don't think anyone is or was here," the man said and we both nodded.
"Then let's go to the next warehouse," Vikram said and we started running to the next warehouse.
"Hey, we already checked the first. We are going to the second one now. Did you find anything there?" Vikram asked Dev.
"No man. I don't think they are here. I think the second warehouse i sour only choice. I am coming there. You inform me as soon as you reach," Dev said. We will reach earlier compared to him. After a while, we reached the second warehouse and also found it empty. We had no idea what to do. If Sanjeev is not here in all this warehouses, where is he? Where is he keeping Priya if not here.
I felt so frustrated because I promised Ananya, I will bring her sister to her. She is hella worried about Priya and I can't let that continue. Where have you kept her Sanjeev?
"Hey," Dev's voice brought me out of my frustration. He was walking in our direction.
"Where is he keeping her Dev if not here? How can all this places be empty. Are you sure these are the only possible places?" Vikram grumbled.
"I don't know man. According to my record, these are the place used for kidnapping," Dev said.
"And, why the hell the government haven't done anything to this place?" Vikram asked annoyed and Dev just shrugged his shoulder.
"I asked my men to go inside and check. There is no any traces that shows people have been there. So, I don't think he left. He was not even here from the start," Dev said. He was the most calmest one among us.
"Where can..." I was cut off by Vikram's phone ringing. He excused himself and answered the phone.
"What? How is she now?" Vikram asked, quite loudly. How is who? Who is the she?
"Alright, please take care of her," Vikram said again and I only grew worried.
"Pa, this is not the time. She is your daughter as well. And, did you forgot your grandchild is growing inside her?" Vikram said and this time, I know they are talking about Ananya.
"We are still finding Priya. Please calm down and tell mom to calm down. Don't stress Ananya anymore," Vikram said and hung up.
"What happened to Ananya?" I asked him, scared of the answer.
"Urmm, she fainted all of a sudden. Thanks god, Riddhant was home at that time and he brought her to hospital. Don't worry she is fine. She just fainted due to stress. Dad said she is awake now," Vikram said and I sighed in frustration. This is all because of that Sanjeev. I cannot do anything to help her right now. A tear of frustration slipped my mind.
"Do you want to go to the hospital?" Vikram asked me.
"No, I promised her I will find Priya for her. I am going to do the exact same thing," I said. I called Sandhya and asked her to go to the hospital to take care of Ananya. I need her to be beside Ananya to calm her down. Then, I called Aadvik.
"Did you find anything?" I asked him.
"Not yet," he said and I sighed again.
"Compare Priya and Sanjeev's tracks and find the place they both went in common. Priya said something about Sanjeev asking her to meet, so chances are there, they both went to the same spot again or something," I told him and he nodded.
"Give me like 5 minutes. I will call you back," Aadvik said and I hung up.
"Why the fuck will Priya go to meet him? Is she crazy?" Vikram yelled.
"There is a reason Vikram. I can't tell you," I said and turned to Dev. "I want to file a complaint against him. Just now, when Priya called, she asked us to record the call and we did. In that she testified against Sanjeev. I just want him behind the bars for everything he has ever done," I said, running my hand through my hair for the millionth time already.
"Alright, we will see about that later," Dev said and I nodded.
