Michael hobbled into the infirmary for the third time that day. The guards helped him to the bed and he sat down. The pain in his foot was incredibly terrible and he hissed in pain. He had stepped on a rake while on P.I and put four holes in his foot. It was nothing he couldn't handle, but a small price had to be paid in order to see her again.
Sara entered the exam room with an amused look on her face. She walked up to him, clipboard in hand and she went over the file on his injuries. "Michael either you are extremely clumsy or you're just looking for an excuse to be up here." She said to him with a smirk. She pulled the curtain to give them some privacy away from the other nurses. He chuckled with slight pain in his voice but he smiled at her. "Definitely the second one." He replied while leaning closer to her. He captured her lips on his immediately.
"You know." she began after he pulled away. "If you keep this up, people are going to start asking questions."
"Well I have to see you somehow." he replied as she started cleaning up is wound.
"They might take you off P.I if you keep purposefully getting hurt by the equipment." she laughed. "Just try not to draw too much attention. You still get to see me everyday for your shot remember."
"Oh Sara, you are reading this all wrong." he said dramatically. She smiled at his playfulness. "I am doing this for you."he continued.
"Is that right?" she asked amused at his words. "And how exactly does this help me in any way?"
"Well you see," he began. "You just can't survive if you only see me for 15 minutes every day. I'm only trying to help here." He laughed. She shook her head and kissed him again. "Well if you keep this up, I just might have to have another nurse help me out with the work load. We wouldn't want that now would we?" she asked while matching his playful tone. He glared at her and sighed dramatically.

"Fine!" he said. "I won't get hurt as often." He placed his hand under her chin and lifted it so she was looking into his eyes. "I just wish I could see you more often." he said honestly. A hint of sadness washed over his expression. She gently placed his hand into hers.
"You'll be out of here soon. Then we will have all the time in the world to be together." She told him. A knock on the door startled both of them. Sara whirled around and pulled back the curtain. Katie informed her that there were more people waiting to be checked. Sara nodded and turned back to Michael.
"You're all set. I will see you tomorrow." she told him. He stood and pulled her closely to him. "One day we will be able to do this freely without having to hide."
"I look forward to that day with you Michael." She replied, her lips curving upwards.
"Until tomorrow." he said.
"Until tomorrow."
