Daniel's POV

"Why do we have to go back to Nashville?" I asked as we boarded the plane. "If we are going to stay in New York any longer, I need to get some more clothes and stuff from my house. Besides, I feel like my Mom needs to know about this." Morgan said as I sat down next to her on the plane. "Another reason is that Dylan said we had some more materials and supplies to pick up." Henley said. "Did I have to go?" I asked. "Danny, it's not my fault that you decided to hook up with a crazy girl from Nashville." Henley said. I remember her, Olivia was her name. I mean, she was cute, and she was a part of one of my tricks. How would I know she was a crazy loon from the South? I just hope we don't run into her here. "And this has to be a group thing. It you didn't come, there might be something that we need you for." Morgan said. "Whatever." I said. "Are we staying at your house, Morgan?" Merritt asked her from behind us. "Yep, we have 3 guest rooms, and I think Henley and I can bunk up. Either that or Jayden could go to a friend's house for the weekend." Morgan said, getting on her phone, going to her text messages, and to her and her mom's conversation, probably to tell her that we were boarding. "Oh, and Jack, my friend, Josie is probably going to be there as well. I mean, she practically lives at my house when Mom is away. But, she's excited to meet you." Morgan said, turning to look at Jack who was sitting in between Henley and Merritt behind us. "Oh, Jack, looks like someone is crushing on you." Merritt said, laughing. "She seems nice, and, don't tell her I said this, but she's pretty cute." Jack said. "Omg, I ship it." Morgan said, giggling; too adorable. "The plane is now preparing for takeoff. We ask that all passengers turn off all electronic devices at this time." An overhead voice said.

We all buckled up, while Morgan turned her phone off. She then pulled out a deck of cards and started to shuffle them. "Just like me." I said, gaining a smile from her. "Hey, I'm working on a trick. I want to see if it will work." She said. "Go ahead." I said, ready to see another of her tricks. She shuffled the deck a couple of times, throwing in a few card jumps as the plane took off. She fanned her cards face down. "Pick a card." She said. I pulled out a 3 of Spades from the fan. "I want you to fold it in half six times." She said. I did so, making a small square of the card. "Ok, give it to me." She said. After I handed her the square, she started to pass the square between her hands. She cupped her hands with the square in it. "Blow on my hands." She said. I blew cold air on her hands, making her pull back. "Daniel, that was cold!" Morgan said, laughing a little. "You told me to blow and I blew." I said, laughing a little as well. "Well, I meant a warm blow, not a cold blow." She said. "Hey, you two stop arguing and keep going with the trick." Merritt said, apparently watching the trick as well. "Ok." Morgan said, shaking her hands. She then broke the cup to reveal that the folded card was gone. Just then, a flight attendant walked past. "Excuse me, ma'am. Can I get a bag of peanuts, please?" Morgan asked her. The flight attendant looked at her, then at me. "Would you like a bag of peanuts, sir?" she asked me, completely ignoring Morgan. I looked at Morgan to see her a little annoyed. "Yes, please." I said. "Coming right for you." The flight attendant said, giving me a wink. Well, ok. "She was hitting on you, if you didn't know." Morgan said. "Yes, of course I knew that." I said. "Right, of course. Morgan, what are you thinking?" she said, partly to herself, partly to me. "Here you go, Sir." The flight attendant said, handing me the bag of peanuts. Along with the bag was a piece of paper, 'Call me. 968-3664'. I looked up to see the flight attendant doing the 'call me' hand signal. I have to pass on that one. I took the paper and crumpled it out of sight. "Ok, open the bag." Morgan said, annoyed at what just happened. "Are you good?" I asked, opening the bag. "Yeah, it's just that girls like her get on my nerves." She said. "What next?" I asked her after opening the bag. "Look inside." She said. I poured the contents on the folding table; peanuts came out along with a white square of paper. I picked up the white square and started to unfold it. After unfolding it the last time, it revealed to be the 3 of Spades, my card. "Wow." Jack said, behind us. I looked at Morgan, a cute smile came to her face. "I learned that one last week." She said. "That was great, Morgan." I said, handing her the card. "Is that one a medium trick?" Henley asked; Morgan ranked her tricks by difficulty. "No, that was an easy one." Morgan said. Wow. "Attention. Passengers are now allowed to return to their electronic devices." The overhead voice said.

After about an hour of playing around with our magic, doing a few easy and small tricks, and just talking about each other, I could tell Morgan was getting sleepy. "Hey, you getting tired yet?" I asked her. "Um, not really." Morgan said. Just after she said it, she started to yawn. She started to giggle. "If you need to go to sleep, I'll stay awake to wake you up when we land." I said. "Ok." She said, plugging in her earbuds. I watched as Morgan tried to get comfortable in her seat, never staying in the same position for more than a few seconds. "Can't get comfortable?" I asked. "Yeah." She said. I then patted my shoulder, signaling that she could lean on my shoulder. "Are you sure?" she asked. "Go ahead." I said. The moment Morgan's head settled on my shoulder, she was out asleep. She looked cute sleeping. After about 15 minutes, I heard Morgan start to very softly sing. Does she sing in her sleep? "For all the times that you've rained on my parade. For all the clubs you get in using my name." she started to sing. 'Love Yourself' by Justin Bieber. I've happened to hear that song come from her room a couple of times. "My mama don't like you and she likes everyone. And I've never liked to admit that I was wrong. I've been so caught up in my job. Didn't see what's going on, but now I know I'm better sleeping on my own. Cause if you like the way you look that much, oh baby, you should go and love yourself. And if you think that I'm still holding on to something, you should go and love yourself." She sung. I started to smile as she kept singing; she has such a pretty voice, even when she's sleeping. Apparently Jack could hear her, he started to record her. After another verse, she stopped singing. "Aw, that was too cute." Henley said.

"Attention passengers. The plane will be landing in 5 minutes. We ask that you remain seated until further notice." The overhead voice said. "Morgan. Morgan, wake up." I started to whisper in her ear. "I don't want to." She softly mumbled. "Morgan, the plane is about to land. You really need to wake up." I said, pushing some of her hair behind her ear. Morgan softly groaned, snuggling into my shoulder. This could not get any better. I gently pulled out one of her earbuds; Morgan started to squint her closed eyes. "Morgan, you really need to get up." I said. "Why?" she softly whined. "Because, I don't think you want people seeing me pick you up and get you off the plane." I said, making her softly giggle in her half asleep state. "Attention passengers, the plane has landed. Please remove any personal items from the compartments above you and move to the entrance of the plane. Thank you for flying with American Airlines." The overhead voice said. "Morgan, we're here." I said. Morgan slowly lifted her head from my shoulder, and looked at me with a tired but adorable look. "Ready to go?" I asked her. "I guess." She said, softly with an adorable sleepy voice. "Come on." I said, getting up from my seat.

After we grabbed our carry on stuff, we existed the plane, going into the airport. "They should be around here somewhere." Morgan said after we left baggage claim. "MORGAN!" I heard a voice. It looked to be Morgan's best friend, Josie, with a sign saying 'Magic People'; so original. "Hey." Morgan said as her best friend rushed to give her a hug. "I've missed you so much, M&M" Josie said as the girls embraced each other. "I've missed you, too, Jos." Morgan said into her shoulder. "Ok, so, I have Mom's SUV, for space and a place for luggage." Josie said, braking the hug, grabbing Morgan's hands. "Thank, babe." Morgan said to her best friend. I don't know why she does it, but when I over hear their conversations, they'll call each other 'babe' and pet names like that. I guess it's just a teenage girl thing. "Oh my gosh, where are my manners? My name is Josie Clarkson. I'm Morgan's best friend and will be yall's transportation to the Steel house today." Josie said, going around and shaking our hands; shaking Jack's hand lasted the tiniest bit longer than the rest of us. Yep, I'm with Morgan. I ship it, whatever that is.
