《Troll hunters- After》Cure

[Toby's POV]
We stood at the entrance of Trollmarket, AARRGH took Jim to the Heartstone and I went to look for Blinky. I walked into his library and Blinky was there,
"We found Jim. AARRGH's taking him to the Heartstone, but Jim's knocked out."
"Well Done Tobias." Blinky put one of his hands on my shoulder as we walked to the Heartstone. As we walked into the Heartstone room, Jim's mum was taking care of Jim.
"How is he?" I asked
"He's got a small concussion but except for his side. His side has a huge wound and doesn't look like it's healing." I walked closer to Jim, he looked kinda pale and his side wasn't looking too good. Blinky was next to me he still had his hand on my shoulder. Claire came running into the room,
"Jim!" She came up to him and stood by his side and pet his hair. Merlin walked in with his staff in his hand.
"He'll be alright," Merlin assured
"But what about Morgana?"
"I'll preform a spell to get the hold of her off of him and a spell to keep him protected, and also one for all of us."
"Thank you Merlin,"
"No problem fair Claire. So I'll need to concentrate for this so,"
"Could I stay?" Claire asked,
"I just want to be there for him." She added,
"Fine."
"Same here I wanna stay!" I shouted,
"Alright Fine whoever wants to stay can stay but you need to stand back." Everyone stayed and stood back as Merlin helped Jim.
[Jim's POV]
I woke up, I held my head and saw Mum, Claire, Blinky, AARRGH, and Toby standing over me.
"Jim! Are you ok?" Mum asked,
Advertisement
"Yeah. Just got a little headache,"
"Are you sure? Because your side doesn't look too good." Toby was concerned, I could tell by his face. But I didn't want to face him yet. I need to talk to Merlin, and hopefully he'll give me some answers.
"Can Merlin and I talk alone for a bit?"
"Yeah. Sure," Mum replied with a smile and then everyone left.
"We'll just be waiting outside." I held my side, the pain dimmed a little bit but it still hurt.
"So. what is it that you wanted to talk to me about?"
"Well for starters, what happened after AARRGH knocked me out?"
"Toby and AARRGH brought you back here and told me what had been going on with you lately. Then he called your mother and got her to come to Trollmarket with Claire and then I Got rid of the hold that Morgana had on you and cast a spell to protect everyone as well."
"Oh."
"Um. So what about my wound?"
"Well that should of healed a week after the Eternal Knight. But I'm surprised that it hasn't healed and inch yet." Merlin came closer and had a better look on what's going on.
"Ah, I see what's happening!" Merlin then grabbed a small scalpel and got out a small stone that was inside the wound.
"Does it feel a bit better now?"
"Yes! Thank you."
"Looks like some sort of rock got in me some how."
"Yes, and no."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that Morgana must of put a powerful rock on you that enables ones healing ablility and it slowly kills them from the inside. And then so when you got hit with those power blasts, it somehow made it merge"

"Oh." It is really all Morgana could do to me? or is there more to this.
"So what now?" I asked,
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, what now. What do I do after this. I have nothing to do, and when the weekend is over what will I do? I can't go back to school anymore, just because I can't go into the sunlight." I started to cry, I have nothing else to do but rot in my room.
"Well I think I have something for that." Merlin took to me his little library and opened one of the draws on his cupboard. And gave me something.
"Oh and before you go I need you to do something."
"What is it?"
Merlin and I went back into the heartstone and he stopped at a large crystal that was sticking out of the ground.
"Put your hand on the crystal."
"What will it do?"
"It's like a source of energy for Trolls and you haven't got your fix from the Heartstone yet. It'll also help you to heal." I touched the crystal, some of its energy flowed into me. It felt so weird. My eyes glowed a bit and my side pain went away.
"Wow." Merlin smiled at me,
"Better?"
"Yeah, thank you." I walked out of the Heartstone, everyone was waiting for me outside. I joined the group and we went back to my house.
When we got back to my house I went to the kitchen and made dinner.
"Jim, you don't have to make dinner after the day that you had. Let me do it." Mum suggested,
"It's fine mum. I feel a lot better now, I'll do it."
"Well what are you having for dinner then?" Mum asked,
"I don't know."
"I think I have something that you could have." Blinky said and went back to Trollmarket. I continued to make dinner and placed the plates on the table. Mum, Claire, and Toby sat at the table and I sat down with them.
"So what did you talk to Merlin about?" Claire asked,
"Oh, I know why my side wasn healing now."
"Why wasn't it healing?"
"Because apparently when Morgana hit me with those spears of light, it must off somehow made my stone skin and my human blood merge and made a stone that enabled me to heal."
"Oh." Toby said, choking down his food.
"So does it feel better?" Mum asked,
"Yeah. It feels a lot better."
"Well that's good." Claire smiled, after dinner we watched a movie. Then after that Claire, Toby, Blinky and AARRGH went home. I washed the dishes as mum dried them. I said goodnight to mum and then went upstairs, I walked into the bathroom and put water on my face. I looked at myself and then went into my room. I let out a deep breath that I didn't know I was holding in, and sat on my bed. I looked at my phone for a while and then I glanced at my table and saw something on my table with a note on it, I couldn't really see what it was because it was a bit to dark and I just was too tried so I just went to sleep.

Tales From the Terran Republic
We tried, you know… We really did. We tried so hard to be… better… We actually were better once. No, seriously. We were enlightened, generous, peaceful… Stop laughing! We were! We were peaceful, dammit! No, I’m not “tugging your winglets.” It’s true! Look, if you’re going to be like that, I’ll just push the launch button right now. See ya, don’t wanna be… Oh, you ARE interested after all? Ok. Hey, I just got word that your captain will be ok. We were able to get him into a med pod quick enough… Of course, we tried to save him. Just what sort of people do you think we are?... Now that was harsh… completely accurate, mind you… but harsh. Anyway, like I was saying, we were a prosperous, peaceful people, and war had been nothing but a distant memory for over five hundred years before it happened... Before Yellowstone happened! You don’t mean to tell me that you didn’t know about that… massive supervolcano? Blew the Hell out of our planet? Two years where nothing grew?… Anyway, that’s what started it, the Sol Wars… Oh, you have heard about those, huh? Well, needless to say, all that enlightened, generous, and peaceful didn’t exactly make it through the two years of complete famine and the wars that followed… Maybe it’s more accurate to say the enlightened, generous, and peaceful among us didn’t survive… (laughs)… You’re right. It does explain a lot, doesn’t it? Probably for the best, though. “Enlightened” and “peaceful” aren’t really all that useful out here in the galaxy at large, are they? That reminds me; thanks for the ship. You guys did a great job with this one. Oh, don’t be like that. At least it was us what got you and not one of the really messed groups like the Harlequin or the Black Angels. We’re just going to take your shit. It could be worse… trust me... Well, anyway, we loaded the life pods down with some good food, and you guys can drink alcohol, right? We put in a couple of fifths in there, too. It’s about forty percent ethanol, so be warned. Most species will want to dilute that. We’ll drop your wounded off somewhere safe once they are stable. Your fleet patrols this area fairly regularly, and we’ll drop the distress beacon right before we jump… Well, It’s been fun and no hard feelings, right?… Oh, you want to know some more? Sure. I got time to kill… Let me tell you about this one pirate and her crew. They’re Terran scum, but they are still… Why do we hate the Terrans? Hoo Boy… How much time you got? *** It’s the thirty-second century, and humanity is now part of a galactic civilization comprised of hundreds of worlds. Humanity has been savaged by natural disaster and war and has been fractured into several separate populations, all of which loathe each other (some things never change). This is a gritty drama-driven rambling tale that swings between action, drama, horror, and plenty of very, very dark comedy. Warning: contains adult situations, absolutely horrible language, bathroom humor, implied ultra-violence, actual ultra-violence, drugs, alcohol, pirates, mercs, xeno prostitutes, moral ambiguity, deranged AI's with identity issues, giant commie space slugs, and a poor little frog girl who just wants to sell coffee. Updates twice weekly on Tuesday and Friday. *** Note: This story can get rough. Those warning tags? They aren't for show. I recently received a review and as a result I want to make one thing clear. Portraying something is NOT endorsing it! Many "heavy" topics are touched upon and just because a character says or does something does not imply that the author feels the same way. I selected the "Anti-Hero Lead" and "Villainous Lead" tags for a reason. Rule number one of this story is "no good guys". A good description of the story is, "bad people doing bad things to worse people". There are a few good characters, here and there, but they are the exception to the rule. If you want a hard-hitting, exciting, gritty sci-fi story that doesn't pull any punches, or shies away from "difficult" concepts, welcome! If you are set on a pure and noble knight that runs around and slays conveniently evil monsters and rescues totally innocent princesses... or your sensibilities are easily offended... You're not going to be happy with this one.

There's a dead body hanging from a tree and cadaverous giants watch you sleep at night. The end is already here, you just don't know it yet. Now rated in the top 3% of all novels on Royal Road! Palus Somni (‘Marsh of Sleep’) is a worldbuilding webnovel about what happens when your God forsakes you. Inspired by gothic horror and mingled with British myth and folklore, join the Alucinari nuns as they struggle with day-to-day life after the world has ended. Every night when the sun sets the monstrous Gol, colossal beings with too many teeth, awaken and roam the marshlands. Only those with a faithful heart will be spared. Young acolyte Wille has never seen the walls fail, but when a fellow nun is murdered within their sanctum the very safety of the monastery is thrown into question. Did the Gol find a way to breach their defences, or is there a human traitor amongst them? The answer lies both far in the past and deep beneath the earth, through the maze of ancient catacombs. With a cast of over thirty different characters, watch as your friends and enemies spiral into inevitable madness at the hands of a callous and unforgiving world. Discover the secrets of Palus Somni through letters, diary entries and notes found scattered across the monastery. Uncover the mystery of the grotesque giants that stalk the night and bring your challenge to the Gods themselves. Each character has their own handmade pixel art, and every update includes a music recommendation for a dark atmospheric dungeon synth album that you can listen to while you read. Slice of life meets cosmic abomination: Palus Somni is a collection of intertwining stories, some chapters are stand-alone tales while others feed into the overarching narrative. It is an exploration into a community, and rather than focusing on any one character the story meanders through the convent, exposing the hopes and fears of its inhabitants. Story updates every full moon.

Am I The Only One Who Is Not Forced to Migrate Across Worlds....?
A random isekai adventure might not be random. Underlying conspiracies, not-so-kind world and most importantly two-faced characters. Only time can reveal the flaws of the so-called Migrators! *** I am rewriting the novel. All this time, I have honing my skills as a writer. As my first novel, this novel served as a self-reflection of how much I improved later on. This doesn't have the most unique of plots but as a first novel, I still have some aspirations and memories.
