Alexandra De’nabre – Link to the Past
The Force moves in mysterious ways. Always balancing itself. Even for someone like Alexandra De’nabre, who carried on the family curse from ancient times. Strong in the Force, Alexandra shared the Mirialan spiritual connection to the Force, but in the learning academies of Mirial was recognized for having the ‘Gift’. Something all Mirialan’s aspired to, but did not have. It was The Force, but recognized differently in Mirialan Society. Had she been anything other than a De’nabre, she would have been selected to lead a section of society or granted permission to form her own academy to teach. Due to her curse and her family name she was shuffled off to the Jedi Academy on Mirial as soon as her teachers could get rid of her; unknown to the Jedi that the De’nabre name carried with it the curse of the Dark Side that raged within their family line for generations.
Allowed to marry, together with her Husband Bernard; he and Alexandra spread Mirialan culture and society throughout the far reaches of the galaxy. As builders, advisors and Jedi, this was not their greatest achievement. Their greatest achievement was their two twin daughters, Karolin and Mrysti. Both strong in the Force and the hope of both parents that they would finally break the curse of the De’nabre name. Something even with all of Alexandra and Bernard’s good works, neither of them were able to accomplish.
Alexandra lost Bernard, she lost her girls. It seemed the curse of her family line had once again caught up with her. The life of a Pirate, Alex soon discovered the existence of her girls, became the Queen of her Pirate clan and set out to once again reclaim her life; falling in love again along the way. The curse seemed to once again rear its ugly head as she lost that love.

Alexandra soon realized, as all parents realize, that their lives are not about their own dreams or desires. Their lives are meant for something far greater, their children. Alex never lost sight of that, the Force revealing to her a higher purpose after all was said and done.
The deal struck with the Republic, she watched and waited from afar until finally the deal was no more. The Republic, no more. And she returned to find that her children were not the answer to her prayer of ending the De’nabre family curse. That prayer was in the form of….Samantha Alpha, her granddaughter.
Alexandra fulfilled her destiny, she saved both her children and did what the Force called her to do safe in the knowledge that someday, Samantha would end the curse.
Alexandra De’nabre joined with the Force following the events of ‘Reprogrammed’.
