《Straw Masked and Pepsi stands》When opposites attract, cames the end - Part 3

Faced with these white and red demons, I knew roughly how to react, albeit with difficulty. However, Inomite did not have my gift of analysis and copy, his grabbing of techniques only concerned martial arts and other movements based primarily on melee combat. As she did so, she had no idea how to fight the skills she had in front of her, or even just what she was up against. Still, Inomite kept a cold head. Her equally cold blood and unprecedented courage helped her well in combat, but in front of supernatural powers against which simple martial arts moves were not enough, she was now well destitute. But she wasn't deflating, it wasn't like this was the first time she had been cornered and helpless.
In front of so much new adversity, she invented new and somewhat special arts based on her current skills. She combined them and created different skills, a fusion skills.

Not so randomly, Grivellery Seal had merged with Kill to Kill, while Vehemence had united with Lock-Out Embargo. Regarding Mind Control, it had simply evolved into an attack called Spiritual and Soul Embodiment, obviously from the absence of an attack to create a fusion with. By this time, a new Soda-power had also been created, signifying Inomite's ability to create abilities. But she hadn't realized it since she didn't have this ability to see and know the data of things. Finally ready, she replied on equal terms with these creatures from beyond the grave.
The first she met were mentally manipulated, both spirit and soul, and flyed away towards other demons. Some emanated a particularly stifling heat, while others emanated an unusually low coldness and creating like a temporal stop around them. Despite Inomite's resistance to heat of several tens of millions of degrees up to Absolute Zero, she was unpleasantly feeling these temperatures, which she did not understand. She knew what Absolute Zero was, and what seemed to be a time stop around one of the demons was not one but only an entire stoppage of the movement of atoms around him. Yet Inomite still felt the coldness of this horror. It visibly and negatively exceeded this extreme temperature, but fortunately it was not virulent, Inomite could so overcome it easily. As for the one emanating from an intense temperature, it must have exceeded twice the limit that Inomite could withstand. She therefore preferred to finish it from a distance without approaching it.
Contrary to her usual style, she had to fight from a distance against enemies of a new kind. Although this kind of fighting spirit was new to her, she adapted to it fairly quickly and easily due to her ability to adapt and learn. She still encountered many monsters, all with various powers. The gravitational pull, the elements on a higher scale, fear or even space and time. Inomite was able to counter all of its apps in a number of ingenious ways. Temporal accelerations and decelerations, the stopping of time, travel within the space-time continuum itself and others, the demons of the infamous entity locked in the Lost Idyll had continuation in their ideas, they knew how to innovate to attack and surprise. Without her adaptive arts and responsive evolution, Inomite would have been in much more trouble.

But after a while, Inomite sensed something abnormal. While I had scented the arrival of the storm creature on the ancient heavenly world, she had detected the arrival of something else. It was then that at this thought, a powerful black hole formed in front of her and in the process grabbed a slew of demons. From this hole of reality emerges a huge clawed hand, then a second. A moment later, a head of savage expression emerged, adorned with teeth like stakes, and various revolting attributes.
>
From Lost Idyll, I felt like a flash in my head. Instinctively, I knew this sudden unease was coming from Inomite, and it increased my stress all the more. When suddenly, all the demons stopped. Puzzled, I saw several black holes forming here and there from the cosmos around me and spouting extremely menacing coloss and golems. My instinct didn't even need to kick in, I knew for myself that these things were like sub-bosses, far towering over any demons previously encountered. Then surprised and surrounded, I saw one of the golems rush towards me with force. Dodging it with some difficulty, I was able to contemplate it more closely. Inexpressive, clearly indescribable, this heap of unknown material had been ordered to attack me. Still happy that I had Slim Fast Experience via Pepsi Metalica, I don't know otherwise if I could have dodged his charge. I took the opportunity to observe it even more in depth.

This golem could be summed up in 3 words : All or nothing. In view of his powers, either he could do nothing or his opponent could do nothing. And I would not be that opponent. With a curt gesture, I called Pepsi Modira. Quickly, I was fixed on the powers not working. Carbonate Destruction was one of them, meaning that this Titan of Damocles was not alive. But I didn't have time to go into ecstasies or anything, I paralyzed him with fear in an instant and erased him from existence. I had been right to hurry, seeing that at the same time another coloss came to me, looking more puffy but just as dangerous. I launched hostilities in front of him by putting a lot of power in my fists. But to my amazement, I crossed through it outright. Right after crossing it, he grabbed me by the collar and smashed me to the ground. It was a shock, it was the first time I had been knocked over in such a way. But strangely, the adrenaline rushed in me, I felt my whole being boil as if under tension and raising my face, I gazed with a crushing gaze on this monster which had given me my first violent blow.
Without really knowing why, I recalled my Pepsi stands and found myself on my own. I was overcome with a feeling that I had never experienced, except once, when Inomite had held me back. A feeling where even in the face of the entire existence of worlds, I could pulverize everything. I had only taken a single blow, but it had awakened in me this rise in power. Provoking this giant monster, which obviously does not react, I rushed towards him and charged my energy again. I saw as he prepared to pull myself together once I had walked through him as I had now, and taking the opportunity, I cloned myself up by making my true self invisible. The fake me crossed through him but the coloss didn't react, instead and as I dreaded, he raised his huge arm towards me as if I was perfectly visible. Decidedly, the powers of the old worlds were of no use to these xenochronian minions. But I still felt that excitement in battle. Neither one nor two, I stuffed myself with an abnormal material and sprayed his arm. This is where I saw this muscular humanoid dragon finally react. He was confused.

I then took his head violently and exploded it against my knee, several times. Teleporting in fury, I inflicted blows of shins and punches with the power of a Big Bang. At the end of a quick but angry series, the coloss succumbed and exploded. I still had that cheerful facial expression, unusually excited to fight. I pulverized thereafter and with as much violence the coloss which followed, without Pepsi stands and in spite of the Natural Talent of each one. Even without a Pepsi stand, my power, speed and endurance increased steeply, and I was able to chain opponents without difficulty. Then I remembered Inomite. This thought had the consequence of making me come to my senses briefly while still being elated, and I looked for a solution to go and save her by trying to effectively escape the hordes sent. Suddenly, my mysterious bond with her panicked and indicated to me that she was approaching extremely quickly. I had given her the gift of creating portals between worlds, so she could just have come join me, but something told me that was not it.
When she finally appeared within the Lost Idyll, my blood make a single turn. She had not come to my side but in the clutches of a monster with teeth like stakes. Bloodied and really in bad shape, the monster held her with one of his clawed hands by the neck, as a farmer would proudly and nonchalantly hold a chicken he had just slaughtered. Loads of emotions circulated in me. Its filthy sickening paw kept tightening around the neck of my protege, and the mere sight of her pain was unbearable to me. I wanted to make him suffer in turn. Smash him. Torture him. Tear off his limbs. He redefined the concepts of violence and suffering. Death would only be sweetness. It was then that the monster looked at Inomite, agonizingly. He looked at me, then her, on several occasions. He then gave a sly laugh and tightened his fist. I had horrific doubts what he was going to do, and without delay, this was confirmed. The dragon colossus unleashed an overpowered uppercut in Inomite's face.
I was paralyzed by what I saw, I don't know why I didn't move but I had to act. It was then that he took his momentum and propelled Inomite towards me like an old dirty sandbag. Catching up with her quickly, I took her carefully in my arms, mixing worry and horror. She was overwhelmed with wounds from head to toe. Bloody and almost unconscious, the great warrior I had ascended was unrecognizable, it's like she took all the suffering of the world on her without defending herself. Panicked, I tried to get her to come back to her, which I thought was unnecessary for a moment until she weakly returned to her.
>
I did everything in my power. I summoned the best possible Happy Nouilles Years imaginable, I even evolved to double or even triple their effects, but it had no effect on her. She who had once happily and relished swallowed several bowls, she could no longer even drink a lick of sauce. I tried all my other skills, but nothing helped. I saw her suffering there, in front of me, without even I being able to do anything to overcome this most unpleasant spectacle. I was even about to express for the first time in my uncertain existence what is commonly called cry. But she didn't want to leave, she kept trying to talk to me despite her mess. I told her to be careful, not to overdo it.
>
I didn't want to hear that word, I was too scared of the rest. I kept looking for a way to save her as she continued to agonize, much to my dismay. I wasn't even focused on the enemies behind my back who, strangely, weren't even attacking. I didn't realize it at that moment, but they just seemed to take pleasure in watching me in my pain. I even heard mocking laughter, but my reaction to these provocations was null, I was too focused on my dear and tender.
>
I motioned for him not to speak to save his strength while I killed at the task. Suddenly, she took my arm, albeit weakly. She shook her head from side to side with a tender expression.
>
Tears were really starting to flow, for the very first time. Sadness, regret, helplessness and anger were piled up in me. Drawing on her last resources, she brought her bruised hand to my cheek. Her gaze was filled with love and her fake smile somehow eased the pain she was experiencing, which was both mental and physical. Seeing this, tears definitely flowed from my eyes. I was now sure of one thing: I loved Inomite, I loved her with passion. Seizing this last chance, I confessed my sincere love to her after all these years. Surprised, she looked at me with wide eyes, then one of them also shed a few tears of blood. Weakly, she answered me.
>
She intensified her smile and wiped away my tears, some of which were running down her cheeks.
>
Taking her hand both firmly and gently, I was in terrible pain. We exchanged one last accomplices look before her eyes closed and her breath cuted. That same breath which, although the person does not need to breathe, indicates that life has stopped. A breath heavy with meaning and that we would never wish to see unfold. But it was the case on this day of forced battle. Head down, I saw her disappear in a myriad of sparks before becoming one with the concept of nothingness. Sadness, anger, regret, very base feelings, bringing pain and dismay. But at times, these feelings let you know what you really care about. For the first time, I lost what I cared about more than my own life. For the first time, I cried. For the first time, I expressed regret. By my fault, Inomite had been left defenseless.
Holding the crown of my straw hat with one hand, head bowed in the shadow of its brim, I stood up without a word. I could now clearly hear the laughter of the abominations behind me, hilarious at my misfortune. I clenched my fist firmly, with such intensity that a shock wave was felt throughout the opposing side. Shaken, the demons instantly stopped giggling and resumed a dangerous expression. However, all of this didn't matter to me anymore. Their powers, existence, the Lost Idyll, may all of this go to the Hell. I'd pulverize the Hell and Devil anyway. Turning around, my gaze was as sharp and absolute as the worst insults and the worst tortures.
I didn't know that some feelings could evolve. I had already experienced an evolution of this kind in a positive way, as with attraction become love. But now, it was in the negative sense that it was happening. For the first time, I had clearly felt anger. And for the first time, I felt hatred. A deep hatred, which overwhelmed me. Having only one thought in the current state of things, that of making suffer all those who dared to do that to my beloved, I released all my murderous intention around me, and the opposing camp felt it not without a ounce of concern. Determined, my eyes filled with hatred, I was all set to end all this shit. And in a deep, heavy voice, I made the ruins of the Lost Idyll resonate with a single word.

The life of a teenage hellworlder
We've all heard of the trope that Earth is a deadly planet by galactic standard; and has thus honed humanity into a ruthless species bent on surviving at all costs. As it turns out, that trope is true. Sapient species that evolve on safe planets develop to be peaceful and compassionate - and the ones that do on dangerous ones become violent and selfish out of need - usually wiping themselves out. But obviously, not every violent species drives itself to extinction - resulting in them being feared and ostracized - including humans. The life of a teenage hellworlder is a sci-fi slice of life story that revolves mainly around Thomas, a sixteen-year-old New Britannian attending a Xeno high school, who befriends a lonely apex predator named Javqua. Getting written by two amateur teen writers, things may sometimes be inconsistent or be confusing - feel free to comment and point out these problems. Gore, profanity, and traumatizing content tags are only for minor events in the story and do not happen often. Chapters are around 1k - 2k words - pretty short, but that's because we're all busy with our own lives and school. Trust us - we would gladly upload 5k word chapters if we could. We tend to upload new chapters every Saturday or Sunday. Please consider supporting us on Patreon!

Berries, Boars, and a Boy (A How to Train Your Dragon Fanfiction) (Snotlout/OC)
"In a lot of ways, Snotlout is very much Spitelout's son," said Freda. Torben did not need to see her face to hear in her voice that she wanted to say more. "One can hardly help but notice," he said when she didn't immediately continue. "But," she added hesitantly. "In more subtle and quiet ways he is much more my son." Torben turned his face toward the sun, the heat of it warming his skin though his world remained dark. "Even without my sight I could see that. Why else do you think I would encourage and allow his frequent visits here." --- He was brash, cocky, and way too self-confident for it to be real but he had gotten her out of the tree. She was older than him, taller than him, and had an annoying habit of seeing through his bluffs but she had stitched him up. What happens when Sigyn and Snotlout strike up an unusual friendship? And what happens when Snotlout goes away to The Edge with the other Dragon Riders and she stays behind? Will their friendship remain intact, fade away, or possibly change into something neither was expecting? Just see if I don't make a Snotlout fan of you by the end. Story told from both Sigyn and Snotlout's POV.

The Twin Lands
Join our heroine Enru on her journey in a world where humanity lives in perpetual light and warm while their enemies, the spider beings called Araxin, live in perpetual darkness and cold. Just because they live in the darkness and cold though doesn’t mean the Araxin want to stay there forever however, and this time their bid for the Southern half of the continent looks to be shaping up worse for humanity than ever before. Every ten years the planet nears its second sun in such a way that the Northern half of the continent warms and thaws and the Araxin enter a period of explosive growth, before always attempting to assault the humans in the South. Through events that you will need to read and discover yourself, sixteen year old Enru ends up vital to the survival of humanity, but can she succeed? In a world full of humans, dragons, giant intelligent spiders, trogs, behemoths lurking in the deep, magic, politics (can’t forget the politics) and more, what wonders await you? NOTE: This is my very first attempt at writing ever. Not just my first attempt I am showing people or my first attempt that went anywhere, but my first of any kind. I welcome constructive critisism and I know my grammar is not always the best. If something is majorly bothering you please leave a good comment or review on it rather than just a 0.5 rating and saying I suck. NOTE2: The main character will be gaining power that is, if used correctly, well above the standard for her race however I plan to implement it in such a way that she does not end up being crazy over powered and able to end every fight at her whim. She will struggle, she will lose sometimes and there will be loss along her journey to save her race. There will be no harem and I am unsure if there will be any sex scenes or even romance as this is my first story and I am not confident yet at being able to write that properly. So if you came here for the standard royalroad super OP guy that flies around having sex with every female character he meets, this is not that. Update Frequency: As this is my first story and I am still in the early stages, I cannot say how often updates will be. I lead a very busy life and this is a new way for me to relieve stress. I hope to be able to put out a few thousand words every few days at the least. Enjoy the story! PS. Cover was found on the website thedailybell.com, they did not source where they found it. I rotated and resized the image.

THE TIME MACHINE (Completed)
The Time Machine is a science fiction novel by H. G. Wells, published in 1895 and written as a frame narrative. Wells is generally credited with the popularization of the concept of time travel by using a vehicle that allows an operator to travel purposely and selectively forwards or backward in time. The term "time machine", coined by Wells, is now almost universally used to refer to such a vehicle. The Time Machine has been adapted into three feature films of the same name, as well as two television versions, and a large number of comic book adaptations. It has also indirectly inspired many more works of fiction in many media productions.
