《Ancestral World: Memorial Clouds》Chapter 9

[Arc II-Royal Hunt]
When Johnny was going to talk about his reasons why he came to Illiantius from Alved Litrom which was across the world, a lightning striked nearby.
We quickly took shelter before it rained. Luckily we made it in time because it was raining heavily. I bought a can of coffee for him and a bottle of tea for myself.
I handed the can of coffee to him while we both are a bit cold from the rain since it was still Spring.
"Here you go. You don't need to pay me for this."
"Ah...Thanks man!" Johnny thanked me and drank the coffee. "Ah! Very nice!"
"I guess the rain won't let up anytime soon" I said as I drink my bottle of tea.
"Yea...Guess I can tell you the reason why I came here then."
"...Sure then..."
"Alved Litrom was a great place to live in as much as I heard about it....Did you know about The Sea Of Hell And Gods?"
"The Sea Of Hell And Gods? What...is that?"
"Really man?! You don't know about The Sea Of Hell And Gods? Where the entire world was split into different Sectors and killed over one billion people."
"Sorry...I don't really know World History that much."
"Basically...on a specific year, an Advant fought with another Advant and that resulted the world being split into half. In the middle of the world was half in flames and half in electricity and that is why they called it The Sea Of Hell And Gods."
"That....really happened? I asked with a bit of despair in me.
"Well that's all I know but I bet that isn't the full story of the incident! Alved Litrom was really a great when I read the history of it but ever since that incident, it was chaos..."

"It became a communist country and a lot of people were slaves and that includes my parents. My parents worked hard to get me out of Alved Litrom before they die and I just somehow ended up here.....Illiantius is a very peaceful country and I love it!"
"Do...you hold grudge on whoever the Advant was?" I asked cautiously.
"Of course not man! That was in the past! I want to focus on the present and will only matter!" Johnny instantly gave me a replied.
I was worried about him. The whole talk about him was worrying me a whole lot since he might be a Corrupted but when I saw his orb, he was a human. A regular human who just didn't like the fate of his country and the state of his parents.
If he was an Advant, there would be high chances that he would become a Corrupted. He was a great man who wanted to live happily as he can because he had gotten this peaceful life from his parents. Would I even met him if The Sea of Hell And Gods did not exist?
Who knows. Only the [Guardian of Advants] knows.
When the rain was letting up, we quickly ran back to the dorms.
"Sora! I had so much fun with you man! I hope we can be the best bros ever!"
"Heh! Sure! Why the hell not!"
We were greeted by Hinako-san with that angry calming face of hers while we both were soaking wet. We didn't make it in time for our curfew thus our punishment was cleaning the entire boy's dorm for an entire week.
How unlucky but I got to learn something new. The world was set on another fate by an incident and that led Johnny being here.

It was on Monday and the class was still the same as always.
"Yo Sora! I heard you got a punishment about something. You okay?" Rin was worried.
"Well, it wasn't that big of a deal. No worries. By the way Rika, I saw you at an ice cream store last Saturday."
"Eep!" She let out a strange noise and was embarrassed.
"WOOOOOOOOAAAAAAHHHHHH! CUTE! RIKA CUTE!" Every male in the class screamed at the same time.
"SHUT UP! Can't you see you're disturbing someone?!" Ichimura shouted.
"Tch....The hell is her problem?" A random dude murmured to his friend.
"Ah....the bell rang" I said.
During class, I was looking at the window, wondering about Ichimura. I did not know much about her. The only person that I knew that knew her very well was Rin but I doubt I will get any answers if Ichimura was around.
As I was staring at the window, I saw a shadow moved behind a tree. I grew suspicious from it. I tried to ignore its presence but I had to quickly check it out. As the class ended, I quickly rushed out of the class and went to that tree.
When I reached to the tree, I saw a note that was written for me.
(In the Note) "Let us meet at the Spirited Forest at 20:00 which is behind your very school."
"Spirited Forest huh......"
When school finished, I went to the Spirited Forest and there was an open area. I stood there for a while until I heard a voice.
"How brave of you coming here, Amane Sora~"
"Oh please. Do I look like I would be afraid of something like this?"
After I said that, a woman appeared in front of me. She was charming. She had a blood red coloured hair with a pair of yellow eyes. Even all that, I could sense another presence hiding nearby. Not long after, a male emerged from the dark area.
"Hm! So you're that puny brat who is somehow extremely powerful. You look very weak for an Advant! HaHa!"
"Now Elmas~...you're a man not a slutty bitch. Besides, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover~"
"Ah...I'm sorry Alvis. It just that he pisses me off."
"Who are you both? I don't recognize you anywhere." I asked while having my guard up.
"Why of course, young boy~...People only know us as a group~"
"Group? What do you mean by that?"
All of a sudden, the man name Elmas was in front of me and kicked me. He was very fast. Not to mention, his kick was powerful too.
"HA! You couldn't even match my speed. He's wasting our time Alvis! I don't get why he is a threat to us at all!"
"You're so proud of yourself huh....I'll defeat you both and get some answers from you two."
"Ok then~ Let us fight~"
"Bring it you weakling!"

Project TheirWorld: Book Two - Tatterskin
**IMPORTANT: Because I am trying to reconcile some of the consistancy issues due to unexpected changes in how I've decided to write the story, this story is to be renamed/reordered. I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience. The Tutorial (completed, but unedited) is now to be concidered as Book One of Tatterskin. Tatterskin will contiune without real inturruption, though "Book Two" is really going to be the rest of the series with multiple volumes. Sorry guys! I've gone and brought the chaos of my real life into the storyverse T-T. ----- Dassah Graydon was just another human woman looking for adventure in her life when she moved to the academic floating continent, the Enclave. But while she wanted to escape her mundane reality, she quickly discovers that her life there – with the exception of all the crazy aliens and the unusual setting – was no different than her life on Earth had been. After spending a couple of months getting used to the place, she finally got the chance to play the popular new VRMMORPG, TheirWorld. As she is drawn deeper and deeper into the game, however, she begins to realize that her in-game life is far more connected to the happenings of reality than she could have imagined. Finding herself in the middle of a conspiracy that threatens her life and the lives of the people around her, Dassah must decide whether she allows herself to be a puppet, or she finds the determination to become the master of her own fate. This is a Project: TheirWorld story, and there is a prequel story, The Tutorial (completed, but unedited) but if I am doing my job, you won't need to have read that to enjoy this one. ____ The story will usually update once a week, sometime on Fridays JST. The updates on Royal Road L will be about 1 chapter behind my main WordPress site found here: Project: TheirWorld. This will change, as the WordPress site will have holiday releases and RRL will not. Thank you for reading, and the support! :) ____
