Everyone stared at the intruder as silence ensue the arena.

The figure wore a large back coat that almost blended into the night. The hood was up, but a white tiger face could be seen, Seth couldn’t tell if it was a mask or the actual face, but at the moment it didn’t really matter. What matter was why this person interrupted the fight and what did he want with Seth? Seth hadn’t even noticed their presence until they struck king Kong.

“Wow! Tonight is certainly a night for surprises! First we have a new fighter who can go toe to toe with King Kong and now another new fighter has shown up! Mister Tiger mask here is strong enough to have knocked King Kong out! “

Whispers and murmurs could be heard from the audience. No one had expected the match to be interrupted. There was a silent agreement that no one would disrupt a fight once it started. If a person ambush someone during a match, who to say that the same person who interfered would not be ambush during their own match next time?

“How exciting! It been a long time since a fight was disrupted. It certainly adds some spice to a stale routine. It seems our new fighter couldn’t wait for the match between our newbie and King Kong and decided to take matters into their own hands! Before we grant his wish to the bout, does anyone have any objections?”

As if on cue, three people jumped out and landed near the tiger mask figure. One was wearing a horse face, another was wearing a dog mask, while the last was wearing a ski mask.

“Hell yea I have an objection! You made me lose all my money!” the horse masked person yelled. “ I was expecting King Kong to win, but who thought he would be such a pussy and be knocked out in one hit!”

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Seth thought. So much for respect for the previous champion. Seth knew that no one would bet on him wining the bout, but he had hoped that there was someone crazy or stupid enough to place a tiny amount on him.

Booing could be heard from the audience and he could see other people preparing to jump down. Betting on the previous champ should have been easy money, but it all went down the drain due to a unexpected person. Needless to say, a lot of people were upset.

Three angry people charged at the person wearing the tiger mask, with the horse masked figure in the lead. Seth watched on the side, trying to figure out how powerful the person who intruded on his match actually was.

The tiger masked person raised his right arm to grab the fist from the horse mask and crushed it.

Seth wince at the sound of the bones breaking. The poor fellow wasn’t given a chance to use his awaken abilities.

“UUUrrghhhh! My hand!” Horse Mask yell as he fell on his kneels, with one hand still in the grasp of Tiger Mask.

The other two fighters flinched, but still continued their attack. They learned from their fellow attacker’s mistake and began to use their awaken abilities. The dog mask had grown claws on his hands while the person wearing the ski mask fist had grown to the size of a human head. Their attacks were denied as Tiger Mask threw Horse Mask at them, still grasping in pain from his crushed hand. All three were sent flying to the edge of the roof.

Meanwhile the fighter’s amongst the audience hadn’t been idle. Some jump down to join while others merely observe. To most of the audience the loss of money had not been a big deal for most of them. They just jumped in to join the fun. There could be a lot said about people who come to Rooftop Challenge event, they were many things if not feisty. When something entertaining happens, they want to join in.

The white tiger mask figure seem to have other ideas. He raised his right hand just as bunch of people were closing in on him.

A flash of light emitted from the hand of the tiger mask wearer, brightening the night and blinding everyone in the arena and it’s audience.

No it wasn’t light Seth realized as he tried to regain his vision, it was electricity.

That was when Seth felt himself being grabbed by someone and forcefully dragged off into the air.
