-hosh hosh- Shanti ran as fast as she could. Less than one minute, she already reached the elder house.

"Shanti? what's wrong? where's the savior?" the elder asked her

"-fuuh- elder... everyone... enemies are already in the forest.."

"what.... really? oh God...."

-whisper- the villagers started to panic again. Shanti took a deep breath and told Yana's message.

"everyone!! please listen to me! our savior said that he need all of us to gather at the front of the village! everyone! include the children! we need to trust him!"

The people looked to each other. Why he needed the children, they couldn't understand.

"I think...the children should stay at the safe place" one of the mother from the children said her opinion

"I'm worried about their safety too" the other replied

"everyone that can fight! come! we will defend this village and our tribe!!" Barry shouted

-woooooaaa- the men responded to Barry. They ran towards the front gate.

The women and children stayed there. The elder looked at Shanti.

"I think we don't need to bring women and children to a war Shanti..."

"I know... but sir Yana clearly said to bring everyone include the children"

"but.."

"LISTEN!" Shanti raised her voice

Everyone surprised and looked towards her. The elder also showed the same reaction.

"-fuuh- listen everyone! our only hope now is our savior! I'm pretty sure he has something in mind when he told to bring the children! remember, because of him, we know Khall is betraying us! so please.. let's we do what he said.." Shanti tried to convince the other

They started showing a confused expression. The children grabbed their mother's clothes while showed an anxious feeling.

"-brugh- please! we need to gather everyone at the front gate.." Shanti kneeled on the ground

"we..we got it. Let's try to believe our savior.." some of them started to make up their mind

"thank you!! let's hurry then" Shanti's fox ears tilt up while showed a grateful expression

"mommy, I'm afraid"

"don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you" She held her son's hand tightly

"savior!! we're here!"

Barry came with all the men in the village. They brought some short sword and small wooden shield as their weapons.

"hmm, where's the rest of you? the children?"

"I'm sorry, but I think they don't need to go war savior.." Barry bowed at his savior

"is that so? I think Shanti would do her job properly..maybe take a more few minutes"

"forgive me savior, what do you mean by that?"

"don't mind it. Anyway, can you see what's ahead?"

Barry looked towards the forest direction. He focused his eyes to get a better vision. He was surprised to find out so many unknown figures in the forest.

"ten.... twenty....forty.... God, there are so many of human!"

"hoo, you can see them? I'm only seeing a blur image from here. As expected from Half-beast"

"there are so many..how we will fight them"

"-sigh- I will handle that. For now, tell me what are they wearing, the weapon, and their leader"

"u.. understood.. they all wearing chainmail and holding sword and iron shield. Some of them at the back bring a crossbow.. for the leader.. I don't know which one of them.."

"can you guess how many are they? a rough guess is okay"

"....judge from the layout of the forest..and their formation.. is safe to assume around one hundred or more.. savior"

" a hundred soldier with a chainmail, iron sword and shield plus crossbows? hmm..."

Yana smiled and looked to Barry.

"then we will win for sure"

Barry couldn't believe with what he heard. How could this man say that thing without any hesitation like that?

"but we are no fighter.. how can you be sure about that.."

"all of you already showed me what I need to know. Now it totally depends on you"

"why are you bring the women and children here?! get back to a safe place!" one of the man shouted in the back

They looked towars Shanti's direction. She brought all the women and the children with her. A ruckus happened between the villager.

Yana walked towards Shanti and patted her head. Shanti kinda surprised with Yana's action.

"good, I know you would understand"

"thank...you sir Yana" Shanti still surprised

"savior! please explain to us!! why do you need them in here?" the men showed their objection

"-fuuh- I will.. I will explain to all of you, so you will know what's ahead"

Yana closed his eyes while everyone waited for his explanation.
