Yana smiled and looked to the sky.
"for starting point, this is rather easy.. don't you think?"
Shanti approached him with a confused expression.
"sir Yana... what must we do then?"
"hm? of course.."
When Yana wanted to continue his words, a report came to the elder. he showed anxious expression on his face.
"he...he's not here...."
"is that so...." the elder tried to hide his worried feeling
"Barry? is that your name?"
"ye..yes. That's right savior.."
"did you see any movement outside the village?"
"nothing in particular"
" I see, then they not arrive around here yet... 2...3 km?.. if they send a big troop..."
Barry just kneeled there and looked at Yana without having any clue what was his saying. The elder walked towards Yana and looked to him.
"I really don't understand what's happening here savior... what's gonna happen to our tribe?"
"it's simple, really"
Yana faced to him.
"you fight and win, or do nothing and wiped out"
"fight... do we really can win against them? Khall said..." the elder realize something
"is he lying to us....?"
"I can't say that. That's depend how large the enemy group, the layout, and many things. But if we talked about raw strength... one of you is ten times stronger than human"
"but our fighters already...."
"-sigh- you don't have to remind me about that. Like I said, I will replace their value"
"ah, I don't mean that... savior"
"it's okay. I will walk around the village to have a better information about this place"
"let me accompany...you, sir Yana" Shanti offered her help
"no problem. Let's go"
They left the place. The villagers and the elder still couldn't grasp the current situation. Their village would be attacked? Khall was a traitor? what's happening here?

Shanti walked beside Yana. She had so many questions for him.
"....sir Yana? may I ask you about something?"
"hm? sure"
"why did you say our ritual is stupid thing? as a shaman... I can't accept that.."
"why it's stupid? because you traded twenty capable half-beast fighters with me, ordinary human. Is that really hard to understand?"
"!!! they sacrificed themselves for you! our savior that will help our tribe form human invasion!! we believe that!! of course I wouldn't understand...." Shanti's emotion starting out of control
"-fuuh- I don't say their sacrifice or belief is stupid, nor your ritual. What I want to say that.. you still have so many options.. why choose the ritual?"
"that's because we don't have any option! Khall said..."
"yeah, that's what I mean. It's because this "Khall" said right?"
Shanti was silent. She started to see what's happening all this time.
"all his news that he brings.. the stories..about human strength.. that all is a lie.." Shanti covered her mouth
"most likely. His absence from this village is one of the proof"
"why did he do that..."
"obviously, he got some offers from them"
"I still don't get it..."
"well, we can ask him later"
"we can meet him? how?"
"depend on the situation, we will see"
They arrived at the front of the village's gate. Yana stood there and looked around. A vast green field was spread between the village and forest in front of it.
He saw the forest closely and found a silhouette behind a tree. The moment he saw it, he realized everything was going to his worst scenario.
"what's wrong sir Yana?" Shanti looked with worried
"run as fast as you can, gather all the people here. All of them, include the children"
"wha..what do you mean.."
Yana smiled and looked to Shanti's direction.
"get prepared, the enemies are here"
