.
The past week has been nerve wracking to say the least to you.
You either couldn't sleep at night or had nightmares. It was one or the other, nothing in-between.
At work, it was a similar case as well. Every time you were called to your boss' cobin, you either wanted to throw up, pass out or go to the toilet.
You lost your appetite and you didn't know how much longer you could handle this vicious cycle.
On the other hand, Jimin was feeling refreshed and was finally starting to see hope in his life.
Being able to look at the person he has been searching all these years gave him a comforting feeling.
All the things he had done up until now weren't in vain. Every time, he saw you he wanted to speak to you but every time there was a distraction.
Either his phone would ring or the secretary would come. He couldn't speak to you alone and say the things he really wanted to say.
He should have taken advantage of the first opportunity he got but he had been too struck to think rationally at that time.
There were times he asked himself if it was truly you, the friend he had known all these years ago.
You had changed.
You didn't look like the naive or innocent girl anymore but he could see through a fragility in yourself.
You had longer hair, wore office-wear, your features were more prominent- you looked like a woman.
A very beautiful woman.
But you shut off the outside world. He didn't have to sit next to you or his staffs to know about you.
Nobody knew anything about you. You didn't have any friends or close relationship with anyone at the office.
You didn't speak to anyone and the words that came out of your mouth were only work related.

The complete opposite of the y/n he once knew.
The y/n before would have jumped at the offer of someone becoming friends with her.
She wouldn't have stopped talking when someone would ask about her day.
He hated seeing your smiles that didn't reach your eyes because they masked your sadness.
"Miss Cho, can you call Miss Yang to my cabin please?" it was yet another try to see, observe and speak to you for a few minutes.
Every day, he felt scared to wake up and come to his office. He used to feel the same way before but it was for a different reason.
Before.
he felt scared that something would happen to him without having the chance to meet you again.
But now, he felt scared that you would disappear once again without any signs and that he would have to go through the pain all over again.
You knocked on the door with the dreading feeling once again.
Every time, your boss called you- which you preferred to refer him as that than anything else your stomach churned out of nervousness.
There was no horrible feeling than seeing the person you once trusted & loved destroy you.
But there was no more horrible feeling than seeing that person everyday and pretend that nothing happened between the two of you.
After hearing him, you opened the door and entered inside as usual.
But your heart dropped at the sight in front of you.
He was standing a few inches away from you with a soft smile.
It was the same look he used to give you when you were younger to reassure you. The same warm smile that said that
"I'm here for you and not to worry. He was slowly approaching you, he hated pretending to be strangers when you were much more than that to him. He wanted to apologise and beg for your forgiveness. He wanted to see the old y/n.

"Y-y/n" he hesitated to speak.
All his actions turned on a switch in your mind which only screamed horror. He's trying to get into your life again.
He's going to ruin you again.
As he was making a step forward, you were making a step back.
Suddenly, your feet lost balance and you stumbled down but before you could land on the ground, a pair of arms caught you from behind.
"Hello y/n"
