As days, weeks and months passed by,

In the virtual world, Sean and Bo found themselves chatting a lot. They loved each other's company. They kind of liked each other maybe just as a chat friend. They both had a different viewpoint on many things but that made sense in their own way. For them, the chat space became their comfort zone.

And In the real world, Zhan and Yibo started to talk more and fight less even though they have some arguments now, and then it could be handled. The worst enemy kind of became friends.

And during these days, there was a new addition to the marketing department, a new employee. She was hot, that was a crisis but the main issue was she was Zhan's Ex-girlfriend, Dilraba. She used to hang out with Zhan's squad and as Zhan's squad hung out with Yibo's squad she joined them too.

Today was one of those rare days, where they have less work. The same goes for Zhan and Yibo's team. They had an hour meeting in the afternoon but after that all were free. So they continued their daily routine. They all went to the cafe and Dilraba joined in, it's not like they asked to but she joined in. They didn't mind her accompanying but she was way too clingy.

They took their usual spot near the window. And Zoey, Jessi went off to order a drink for everyone.

"It would have been great if every day could have been like this." Li Bowen said.

Zhaocheng said, "I would be pleased if I would be able to get off by 5 pm every day."

Ji li started to whine, "I don't remember when the last time I hung out with my college friends was."

"Yeah, I am so done with my social life." Wang Haoxuan retorted.

By this time, Jessi and Zoey came back.

Zoey asked, "What were you guys talking about?"

Luo Yunxi replied, "Social life?"

Jessi chuckled and said, "Right now the only social life I have is this evening coffee time with you guys. I am pretty much sure, I am gonna die single."

Zoey, " Me too".

"Being single isn't that bad, is it?" Zhan asked.

"I am not saying being single is bad, I am just saying I don't want to be single lifelong," Jessi said.

Jili looked over at Zhan, thought for a while, and asked, "Zhan and Dilraba weren't you guys couples, why did you guys break up?"

Dilraba looked at Zhan, and she said, "I don't remember, maybe some silly issue. But I still love him."

Nobody thought she would confess out of nowhere. Zhan choked on his drink. He gave her an odd look.

Then Yibo smirked and spoke up, "You just said, you didn't know why he broke up? Then the next moment you confessed you love him. You didn't even care about why he broke up with you? And you are saying you love him. Seriously for me, that doesn't make any sense."

Everyone stared at Yibo. Zhan was sitting opposite to him. Zhan looked at Yibo, he didn't say anything but smiled at him. And for some reason, Yibo couldn't take his eyes off that smile.

Liu Haikuan grinned and said, "Don't mind me, but I do agree with Yibo."

"You don't know me. You can't judge me. You don't know what I went through when we broke up." Dilraba said giving them a painful look.

Jessi said, "we are not judging you. We are no one to judge you. We are just saying that things may have been different if you would have tried to figure out why he actually broke up rather than just pestering him to get back with you."

Zhuocheng and Wang Haoxuan gave cheers to Jessi, "Jessi, the last sentence was kind of blunt but still loved it."

"Guys it was like a few years ago. I am seriously done with that relationship. And right now I don't even have time for one nightstand. So let's not wrack our brain behind that. And Yibo, I didn't know you would say all those casual sentences in one go, I am impressed." Zhan let out thinking this would change the topic.

Yibo said, "I mean it."

"Fine, fine we are getting too serious," Zoey said.

Song Jiang said, "Cool let me ask you something. In your opinion what's love? Dilraba, you start?

Dilraba said while playing with her phone, "Love is caring and protecting loved ones."

"Ok cool, Li Bowen you next?"Jiang said.

Li Bowen gave Song Jiang a confused look, "why me? Fine for me love is food. And I am not joking."

Yang in a taunting tone, "I couldn't hope anything better from you".

"Fine, Yang you say," Li Bowen said.

Yang took a min, "Love is trust."

Song Jiang, "Wow. Luo Yunxi, you."

"Hmm, it's a dilemma where the happiness of another person is essential for your own." Luo

Yunxi said.

Wang Haoxuan looked at Yunxi and said, "Wow Yunxi Ge, that was sweet and romantic.

Now, Song Jiang you."

" For me, love is an unconditional commitment, Haoxuan what's love for you?" Jiang said.

"I will give you my reason at last. Jessi you go." Haoxuan said.

Jessi took a sec and said "Hmmm, for me love is the effort you put on to maintain a relationship. Zoey you next."

"That was deep. For me, love is friendship set on fire. Zhuocheng you up next." Zoey said.

Zhuocheng played with his cup then said, " love is respect. Ji li you up."

Ji li gave a playful smile"Hmm, love is passion."

"Ji li, yeah I couldn't hope anything else from you either, Haikuan you up". Yang said.

"Love is hope, a belief." Liu Haikuan said...

Jessi gave a genuine smile, "Wow, Ge that was sincere. Now Yibo you, what's love for you?

Don't you dare say love is work?"

Yibo looked at Jessi then Zhan looked straight and said, "for me, love is the absence of judgment."

"Ok, that's what Dalai Lama said," Zoey replied. "We are asking you what you think of love?"

Yibo scratched his back of neck said, "Love it's like a journey without destination, you don't know how far it takes but you still prefer to go for it. Zhan you next."

Zhan gave Yibo an unusual look, "Wow Yibo that was intense. For me, love is a

kiss on the forehead".

Dilraba who was playing with her phone looked at Zhan and said, "Wow, Zhan I didn't know love was this simple for you."

Jessi was seriously cranky, "Dilraba, Seriously you think forehead kiss is that simple."

"Why are you so upset? Isn't it just a kiss?" Dilraba retorted.

"Yup, Forehead kiss is a kiss, but it means protection, respect it just like saying you are mine," Yibo said.

Zoey looked at Yibo full of respect, "Yibo seriously I didn't know you were this romantic. Yibo I love you will you marry me?".

"Nope!" Yibo deadpanned her.

Except for Dilraba, everyone started to laugh.

'But seriously how is it any different from a kiss on the lip or anywhere else." Dilraba asked.

Liu Haikuan placed one hand on chin and said "one kiss on the forehead is a lot sweeter than 100 kisses on lips. Because it's pure."

Luo Yunxi continued, "We all believe that mothers love is the purest form of love isn't it, they always kiss their children on the forehead, because that gives a sense of protection, belief that this person would always be with you."

"You may have kissed many people on the lip it may be because of love or lust, but you only give forehead kiss to that person you want to cherish for life. Even now you can't understand this, go get a boyfriend and check that out for yourself." Jessi said. She was so done with Dilraba.

Dilraba wasn't still satisfied, "I don't know, I just think you guys are just making a fuss over it."

"I am so done with her." Jessi retorted.

Just then Dilraba got a call and left.

Song Jiang cut everyone off he said, "leave it, it's her wish to take it or leave it. Hey, Haoxuan it's your turn. What's love for you?

Haoxuan with a genuine smile replied, "You."

Jessi, Liu Haikuan, Luo Yunxi, Yibo who gave a long lecture to Dilraba choked on their drink, and the rest of them gave Haoxuan an astounding look.

Yibo who was the first one to get out of the daze, "You serious. I mean you are kidding. Right?"

Haoxuan said, "why should I be kidding? I love him. I didn't plan to confess right now. But just he created the right moment, so I just used it."

"Haoxuan, this is for the first time I am seeing you this serious. How?" Zhan asked.

Haoxuan gave a chuckle, "I don't know. It just happened. But I do seriously love him. And I would respect whatever decision he takes. I won't nag him. I just wanted to let him know that I love him."

Li Bowen asked Jiang, "Wow Jiang, what's your answer, pal?"

Jiang wasn't still out of the daze, He was red as a tomato. Jessi and Zoey were looking at Jiang with pleasing eyes which were full of support. Every eye was on Jiang.

Haoxuan was too relaxed for someone who just proposed, "Hey guys, don't pressure him. Let him take his time."

Still, no one moved. After a while, Jiang came out of the spell, He took a while and said, "I seriously don't know how it gonna start or end but I will still give you a chance."

Ji Li was happy for his friend as well as surprised, "OMG! Jiang you serious."

"Yeah guys, As Jessi said I seriously don't wanna die single. And I kinda like him too. He is sweet. So, I will take a chance. I will just go with where ever it takes" Jiang said.

Jessi and Zoey were celebrating as if they were the ones who got committed.

"Look at them, they are happy as if they are the ones who got committed." Zhuo Cheng mumbled to Yang who was sitting next to him.

"They surely gonna die single," Yang said laughing.

Everyone was happy now the person in a daze was Haoxuan.

Haoxuan with a stunned look on his face, "you seriously said yes."

"Why? Didn't you want me to say yes?" Song Jiang asked.

Haoxuan just got up and hugged Jiang, "No I mean I didn't know you would reciprocate it."

"Guys go get a room, there are a lot of singles here." Yang teasing them.

Liu Haikuan settling a hand around Haoxuan shoulder, "Haoxuan, I know you are a good guy. But dare to hurt him, You would be dead meat. And Yibo will help me with that."

"Wait, why would he help you?" Haoxuan asked giving him a questioning look.

Zhan without sparing a look at them, "they are childhood friends. So, better be careful."

"Wait, being Yibo's teammate, we didn't know that. How did you know?" Libowen asked.

"I told him," Yibo replied.

Jiang with a teasing smile asked, "Wait, Yibo you told him that we are your schoolmates when you guys became this close."

Liu Yunxi who was enjoying everything said, "Don't you guys think, for the past few days these two are speaking up for each other. Like just now, when Dilraba confessed, Zhan didn't say anything, one to speak up was Yibo and then during the meeting, Yibo was kind of in despair and one to speak was Zhan."

Zoey gave Zhan and Yibo a teasing look, "Would we be getting another confession scene soon?"

"Liu Yunxi, It's good to have someone with the same wavelength." Zhan retorted.

Jessi asked, "Oh, where was this wavelength for the past 3 years? And where do we guys stand on the wavelength?"

Zhan giving Jessi a smirk, "you are near to the end. Hey, how did we became the center of attention? The one who got committed is them not me."

Liu Haikuan looked at Yibo and whispered, "Yibo, If you found your muse. I am happy for you."

Yibo didn't say anything he just smiled at him.

Zhan looked at Yibo who was smiling at Haikuan. He had the same foreign feeling again, but then Yibo met Zhan's eyes, they smiled at each other. Maybe that smile had much meaning but both of them couldn't make out what it implied.

After that, they all left the cafeteria. They all had some minor works then left the office.

With all these events happening, Dilraba who left to attend a call didn't join them instead she looked at Zhan from the corner of the cafeteria. She hated the fact that Zhan was not giving her any face. Zhan was popular among employees she wanted to be his girlfriend again. And she planned to go to any limits just for that.

Zhan reached home by 6.15. He freshened up and fished his phone out to text Bo.

Sean: Boooooo

( after 5 min)

Bob: Seaaaaan

Sean: Reached home?

Bob: Yup, right now. You?

Sean: Yup.

Bob: How was the day?

Sean: Superb, loved it. What about?

Bob: Loved it.

Sean: Me too. You sound cheerful.

Bob: Yeah, I am.

Sean: Why your crush said something.

Bob: yeah something like that.

Sean: Wow, are you gonna give your crush a chance at least.

Bob: well I will think about it.

Sean: Is it the same person, your rival?

Bob: I will let you know if it works out.😜 otherwise, you just gonna be a tease.

Sean: Seriously, Cool. Anyway, I am sleepy I am going to sleep.

Bob: You upset or something?

Sean: Nope idiot, I am fine. I just feel sleepy. Good night.

Bob: Ok, take care, Good Night.

Yibo felt odd but he didn't stress him.

On other hand, Zhan had much emotion running through his psyche. He didn't know why he felt anxious, whenever Bob mentioned his crush, he kind of had a strange feeling, a feeling similar to jealousy. But, he gets this same feeling when someone gets close to Yibo. He was getting mixed up with virtual and reality. He didn't even know what he wants? He just knew that these two ( Bo and Yibo) gave him an emotion which was more than friendship. And he had to figure out soon otherwise it's gonna mess up. And he dozed off...
