Writer's block- the condition of being unable to think of what to write or how to proceed with writing.

Writer's block sucks- big time! And on top of being annoying, it can be inconvenient. If you're writing a chapter and then posting it on Wattpad as you go (meaning you haven't finished writing the book before publishing) writer's block can mean not updating for weeks. Maybe even months (that's if you've got it really bad).

But there are ways to banish writer's block. Here are some of my tips:

1. Don't force anything- if it doesn't come naturally then leave it and try and write the next day

2. Make sure that before writing a book, you have a detailed plan so you know what will happen in every chapter

3. Play some music that reminds you of the book and try to create a peaceful atmosphere

4. Close your eyes and picture the scene in your head. When you start writing, just describe what you saw.

5. Reread over chapters you've already written to get you involved in the story again.

Just remember that inspiration can come at any time or place, so don't force writing and relax. Take some deep breaths. And remember- writer's block can be easily cured.
