We all know what a sequel is right? Its the follow up book for story. What I've noticed people have started doing is combining sequels with the original book. Wait let me explain...

So instead of making a whole new book for the sequel, they use the original/first book and simply post the chapters for the sequel in that book. Why not just make another book for the sequel you may ask. I'll tell you.

Putting your sequel in the original book means that nobody has to actively go find your sequel, which trust me most people don't bother doing. This way, all your readers simply read on because they don't have to add another book to their library.

Posting your sequel in the first book also means that the chapters of your book will increase, thereby increasing your read count. Technically, you will have the read count of TWO books but in one place.

I don't even know if this is a tip, just an observation which I've probably explained badly.
