I don't know whether I have stressed the importance of grammar in this book but I'm sure every writer has been told that good grammar will attract readers. I don't need to make a whole chapter on that.
However, to get grammatically accurate chapters with no spelling mistakes or missing words, you have to proofread and edit effectively. If you don't know how to edit or proofread, maybe you need to rethink whether you are actually capable of writing a book seeing as this is one of the most important parts of writing any book.
But editing is boring and dull, so here's my tip on how to make things SO much easier and faster.
Download an app that turns text into speech and paste your chapter into the app. Then let it read out your chapter for you. This helps you notice your mistakes far easier than just reading through your chapter as you can hear when things don't sound quite right. This has saved me hours, and I live by this whenever I write now.
With perfect writing, you can attract any reader as they aren't put off by obvious mistakes and things like that.
