Day Six.
Verses: " 'I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains? No, my strength comes from God , who made heaven, and earth, and mountains. He won't let you stumble, your Guardian God won't fall asleep. Not on your life! Israel's Guardian will never doze or sleep. God 's your Guardian, right at your side to protect you— Shielding you from sunstroke, sheltering you from moonstroke. God guards you from every evil, he guards your very life. He guards you when you leave and when you return, he guards you now, he guards you always.'" Psalm 121:1-8
For the past eight years, I have struggled. I have struggled with mental illnesses and chronic illnesses. It's been tough, to say the least. But I have made it! Not because of what I have done but because of God's strength and goodness. God has been carrying me every step of the way. I couldn't have done it without Him. Now I am facing new battles, but I know that God will help me, every step of the way.
I don't know what your past eight years have been like or what your life has been like, but I do know that with God's strength: you can win any battle and overcome anything!
How do you get God's strength?
Pray to Him and ask for strength.
Then, you have to do some work. You need to start building a good relationship with God by reading your Bible everyday and praying everyday. God will give you His strength as you begin to build a relationship with Him.
It has honestly taken me years to build the good relationship I have with God. Mostly because I get mad at God a lot (I struggle with anger). But I have a good relationship with God, because of God and His goodness. Not because of me and what I have done, all because of God! I give God all the Glory!

Humble yourself before God, that's the first step to building your good relationship with Him. Then you have some work to do but it's totally worth it. Having a good and close relationship with God changes everything.
You can talk to Him about anything and everything. He is a great listener. You can hold His hand as you walk through life with Him with your side. You can have everything you could ever want or need in God. He will help you, love you, comfort you, encourage you, forgive you, guide you, and be there for you.
So what are you waiting for? Go run into God's arms today! He can't wait to see you!

Dear God,
As I pray and read my Bible, I pray I build a close and good relationship with you. I pray that I become closer to you everyday. I pray you grab my hand and walk through life with you by my side. Because with you on my side Lord, I know I can do anything! I pray you give me everything I could ever need and want in you.
I thank you for Your Son and all my many blessings.
In Jesus's name, I pray, Amen!
