I want revenge.

However, to get revenge, I need information.

And for information, I need answers.

Yet to get answers, I need power.

But for power, I need to survive.

They made a grave mistake leaving me alive and locking me in a dungeon cell.

They will live to regret it.

This is a story in a fantasy world with lots of fantastical elements, including magic and cultivation. However, there's also some decent technology in this world. Gaining power has a system and nothing comes out of nowhere.

Essentially, the setting and background is high fantasy but the focus will be whatever the MC sees, so expect more of a gritty realistic low fantasy most of the time. The MC is not OP and uses his wits and strategy to survive, and maybe even thrive.

The warning tags are just there because I don't want any limits to where this story may lead me to writing.
