Richie couldn't believe it. The little guy got the balls to ask him out. he was staring at his phone in disbelief smiling like a goof when he realized what he looked like. Richie literally took a shower just to see Eddie in the dark of night.
Richie headed to the quarry in the cold January weather. His coat was no longer keeping him warm. He thought perhaps he could have taken his car but he remembers how he didn't want to wake his parents.
When he arrived at the quarry at 3:59 he looked around. He felt weird, almost like what was going on wasn't real. Richie looked down at his phone and was about to text Eddie when he got knocked to the ground.
"Little pussy ass bitch. What the hell do you think you are doing in this town?" Henry Bowers yelled as he kicked Richie right in the face
All you could hear was Richie moan and groan as the psychopath continued to beat and mock Richie to a pulp.
Richie blacked out after 10 minutes of pure pain. He had wondered how this had happened, if Eddie knew this was happening, if this had happened to Eddie too.
When Richie woke up it was sunny outside and there was an ambulance and a firefighter and a police officer. Richie looked around and he was on a stretcher. For a split second, he thought he was dead, but he wasn't.
Distinct chatter filled the area. "Do you know who you are?" "Do you know what day it it?" "What happened here, son?" Richie was feeling overwhelmed and wanted to crawl into a hole and cry. How could he have been so stupid as to think Eddie would forgive him?

I kind of think it's dumb when an isekai's MC manages to blink twice and suddenly adapts to their new world without any sort of struggle or learning period. So not doing that but don't worry Will may be confused and a bit unfocused at first but he'll grow into his own. Also using it to practice my digital artwork... which is far from par but improving.
