《Unstable (L x Reader)》Chapter Three: Simple Introductions

Then as I was looking around the room to get a feel of it I was amazed at what hotels looked like. Nothing like I remember, because I think I have never stayed in one until now. Then I saw clothes that were given to me from someone so I assumed that they were for me to try on and possibly keep so I wouldn't have to wear the asylum clothes they had given me. I of course did not ask and began stripping but the level increase of talking towards me told me otherwise. I slowly put my shirt back on as I approached me making sure I had my top on. "(name) change in the bathroom please, it's the door on the left." "I-I'm sorry." "No need to say sorry you can just go ahead and change." I smiled towards L and then headed into the bathroom to change into this pile of clothes that was given to me. After I changed it was dead silent in the building, I was good with dealing with silence. Watari was off somewhere I guess and I had no idea where L had gone. I then began wandering around a bit more looking at the place and getting a basic lay of the land. But then I came across a little corner with a bunch of monitors . I saw L sitting like a bird in front of them and the monitors just made me very curious. But then people started entering the room, people I did not recognize. Well one I slightly recognize from a long long time ago. He was wearing a nicely tailored suit with a fancy pattern. Since I was so quiet no one noticed me but they definitely knew about me. "L where's that girl you said you were bringing along with us on the task force?" "I'm not sure, she is probably in her room changing still. That was the last time I saw her." "Well what's her name at least?" "(name)." Then the guy I recognized said that that name rang a bell for him. I mean it should, he was the one that put me in handcuffs and dragged me into that awful place they call a mental hospital.

I was in my house with my parents, my mom, who was normal, and my dad who was always hiding himself for some reason. Something awful happened, not sure what and I went off the walls and started smashing things and tearing the house up appart. I think I said something that insulted my mom and she tried to get me but I fought back. I was a very violent kid. Then my dad called the police and they came super fast and then handcuffed me and then took me away.
I shed a tear and then as L was going to go look for me to introduce me to the rest of the task force he turned in his chair and saw me hiding but sitting on the floor, mimicking him. He then gestured towards me and I saw too many faces look at me and it made me really nervous where I was too scared to speak. But they were nice enough to introduce themselves first. "Hello miss, uh- my name is Matsuda, lovely to meet you!" He gave me his hand and I shook it quickly then let go just as fast. Then there was a guy that had very curly hair which fascinated me since I have never really seen curly hair, since my hair is more wavy. He extended his hand out to me and introduced himself as Aizawa. He had a firm grip and he seemed like a serious person that had a family to care for which made sense why he was nervous because he didn't want to die. Since I read a headline in the city about how Kira was a mass murderer and the "chase" continued. Next I met the both equally quiet Mogi and Ide. They seemed like very kind people, especially Mogi. Then I saw a younger man, he looked similar to the cop that detained me. I stood up and asked him for his name, this made people nervous since they thought I could not talk, which no person should assume. "What's your name?" "Im Light Yagami.. And you are (name)?" "Yes... and who is this?" "Chief Yagami." he said" You look familiar, have I seen you somewhere?" he added. "Maybe you have, I mean I did come from a mental institute of course!" I said trying to be funny, but since I was little people had a hard time understanding my humor. Plus they thought it was creepy. Plus the chief did not understand what I was hinting which pissed me off. Then as the rest of them continued to talk about whatever they were observing. But then as I was looking around I saw something standing behind Light. I looked closer and saw something I haven't seen in a while. A shinigami.

AK - The Alchemy Kingdom
Karl always wanted to be a Mage. He was born in the Serion Kingdom, a fully pledged magic Kingdom. Seems like a perfect match, right? Unfortunately, no. He's just a commoner, working endlessly to maintaining the lifestyle of Mages. On his 15th birthday, his last chance to escape from a miserable life was destroyed when he was deemed to have no magic potential. For thousands of Serion's citizens that would be the end of their dreams. But how could this story be any fun, ending like that? Follow Karl and his friends while they tried to fight against the Kingdom's oppression. Will the system bend them to submission or will they break the chains of destiny? Spoiler alert: After thousands of years, an ancient Magic system will be reborn in the small Caiset village. What should you expect? - Kingdom Building: For sure! The heavy lifting will come later, I promise! Foundation is important, please be patient; - Epic battles: A Kingdom is not built without war and conflict. Who doesn't like good fights? Let's bring some excitement to this novel!; - Multiple leading characters: Karl convinced them to get on the bus, but this is a very long trip and everyone will need to drive a little; - Scientific Magic System: Especially Alchemy! I'm in no way trying to take the fantasy out of Magic. I just feel like trying to do something more logical. I'll probably stumble on a fine line, but I’m counting on you to keep me on track!; - World Building: I’m using some basic concepts from traditional Fantasy Worlds and trying to add some nice touches to make it unique; - Fun?: I'll try to insert some humor into the story, but that’s an experience we will go through together. Other points I find important: Alchemy is mostly crafting magic tools, but it will go a little further down the road. Even if you don't like crafting, weapon enhancing and whatnot, don’t give up on the novel. You might be surprised about Alchemy's reach later. Also, other types of Magic will play an important role here, just not the leading role. ......... Check out my two spin-off novels, Merchant Queen and Harbinger of Death! Both are independent novels, but with the same world setting... Maybe some crossover later... Either way, you can check them to get additional information on worldbuilding and hidden plots... Please leave a comment! If you want to help me more, support me on Patreon. I'm always trying to come up with new ways for you to participate in this journey. New Chapters on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday!

A War Beyond Kings
Author: I made som mistakes early in the story that I will have to correct, but it will take some time. I have not abandoned this story, but I will be working on my computer and will not be active on royal road. "The elves start to leave their secure forest of Silvanwood for the first time in over two thousand years. Wizards are murdered in their own homes one by one to the dismay of the Jeidan Order of mages. The ancient ruins in Agnellia seem to have awoken after thousands of years of abandon. The flames of war are brewing, and the continent of Maëgor is about to witness a war like never seen before." Author’s note: This is a serious story, loosely inspired from many great works, which you will maybe be able to identify on your own. It is entirely original though. I’ll be working on this for hours every day, but that doesn’t necessarily means that there’ll be daily chapters. I don't own the rights to the cover image, and will immediatly take it down if the author requires so. Every chapter will be at least 2000 words. And congratulations to anyone who guesses on which language the chapter titles are written in.
