"Ya that's what I was saying paying all that money for a lil ass apartment in the slums is useless. I don't understand it. " Ki'Lani said before looking at her Apple watch.

She gathered her things and stood up making me frown. "My last friend down here is leaving.."

"Girl soon you will be too" She told me before we hugged. I picked up Kj out her bouncer and walked her out to her car. "Be safe have a nice flight and I love you girl"

"I love you too, I'll see you in a couple months hun just let me know when you touch down I can help you get everything settled. " She told me putting her purse in her car and I nodded.

"Say bye, Ma Ma. " I grabbed Kj's hand and she started laughing waving her hands and staring off.

"I love her eyes.." Ki'Lani kissed her cheek and got in her car before pulling off. I waved at her car as she drove off seeing her wave back. I stepped back seeing Keeno pulling in and I mugged him as he got out.

He smooched at me and opened the backseat door unbuckling Pluto and got him out. He smiled at me with his fist in his mouth making me pull it out.

"Why yo stank ass daddy letting you bite on your hands after I told him not to?" I spoke to him frowning. I wiped his mouth with his bib and Keeno smacked his teeth.

We put them down and they grabbed each-other's hands almost immediately. I walked in-front of them holding the diaper bag and started running in the house making them laugh and Pluto led Kj to chase me causing me to smiled.

Keeno ended up picking them up and he chased me instead, with them in his arms making me laugh and run around the house.

"Say we gone get you ma."

Kj started babbling and laughing like we were actually having a conversation. I sat down on the bed out of breath and he laid them on the bed making them crawl on me and mess with my face.

"You got me. " I spoke making them both laugh. "Kj gworl you drool a lot.." I wiped her mouth off.

"Keeno what you think about like a baby blue and a sand pink color theme?"

He squinted at me "For what a bathroom?"

"No our bedroom.." I responded staring at him. "Never-mind we can just do black and red. And take the lightbulbs out. "

He snapped and pointed finger at me "And we don't even have to pay for AC, it's gone be just like home. "

"I was joking.."

"Ohh yeah me too.." He moved his eyes around before laying on his back and putting Kj in the air. " Ma Ma say 'dada'"

"Mmmm" She hummed before opening her mouth. "Mmmma"

"Say mama Kj" I told her and he looked over at me.

"Dad" Pluto said and we both looked at him" I put him on my lap and frowned. "How could you do this to me? My only son.." I hugged him and he bit my cheek making me smile.

"Daaaa"

"That works too." He smiled. I adjusted Plutos bracelet on his wrist and put on one of their shows before going in the bathroom. "It's about time for me to get ready for work bae, you need me to get something?"

"Nah"

I nodded my head and went into the closet getting my outfit together.

"Keeno put me down" I whispered laughing. He smirked and took me off his neck letting me down. I held onto his hand feeling my leg shake. Stepping into the bathroom I started the water and grabbed my soap from under the sink and a new rag.

Someone started banging on the door of our bedroom and we heard the door knob rattle. We looked at eachother smiling & started laughing.

"Who the hell.." I started, whispering. I went in the bathroom and shut the door seeing him put his pants on to so who was knocking. Hopping in the shower I stood there for a couple minutes feeling my muscles relax before I started to bathe myself.

"Mmcht, Pluto what the hell?" I heard him say. I shook my head. Knowing he got into something he wasn't supposed to as always.

"I know right she got Keeno head. " I rubbed Kj's head and Hagani giggled.

"What they got going on? " Hagani asked me. I looked up between my aunties and uncles seeing Keeno, Nyne, Mookie , and Nugget standing by the wall all staring at me.

They then looked at Keeno and Nugget pushed him with force making Keeno mug him before walking over to me. Then they started clapping

My eyes followed him as he sat on the other side of me. "What y'all got going in?"

"Bae we finna go smoke. "

"Keeno you're grown you don't gotta ask me nothing. Where y'all going?"

"To that park by CVS. " I nodded my head knowing what he was talking about. Nobody was going to be out there considering it was dark out now.

"Okay be safe , I love you. " He kissed me and stood up. "I love you too." He said before walking away.

"He scared of you. " Hagani instigated eating her food. I rolled my eyes smiling. Keeno not scared of nobody.

"Who made that?" I asked her looking down at her plate of Legume.

"Keeno mama. " She scooped some more on her spoon eating. I got up and carried Kj in the kitchen. Seeing his mom with a plate already holding out a plate for me. I side kissed her on the cheek.

"Mèsi."

She smiled at me before I walked away and she resmumed the conversation she was having with Keenos side of the family.

"Girllll right. " I laughed. I fed Kj some of the food after making sure it was at the right temperature.

I took a bigger scoop and fed myself before looking at my phone seeing he texted me.

"Wrapped around that finger chile. " Hagani said sitting back in her seat from looking in my phone. I shook my head smirking.

"Maybe so. "

"You want some?" A kid asked me holding out a piece of cheese. I shook my head. "No i'm good. "

"You ain't no gangsta. " He told me.

"Maybe not..." I responded shaking my head. Hagani started laughing. I put the now empty plate on the chair beside me and stood Kj up while I held her hands. She bounced the music.

"Get it auntie. " Hagani told her recording. I started laughing as she ended the video. "Sent that to me. l I told her and she nodded.

"Come on Hani dance with yo pops one last time." My dad came over as 'Please Baby' By Alan Cave turned on with his hand out. She stood up sighing.

"Dad stop acting like I'm never gonna see you again. "

"Yea but you leaving me..." He frowned his face up and covered it with his hand . She started laughing and they walked away towards where everybody else was dancing.

This wasn't her going away party or anything but they were celebrating her and letting her know they loved her. It was really just a get together with hella food.

I just didn't eat everybody's food, it's one thing to say that as an American but being Haitian and saying it was very understandable.

"Please baby, oh oh oh oh" I put Kj up on my thighs dancing with her.

"Get it Pluto!" I heard making me look up seeing my mom and aunties cheering him on as he danced smiling. He looked over at me and fell on his butt making them say 'Ohhh' in fake disappointment.

I smiled at him and he wobbled over to me. I put Kj down and he grabbed her hands and they started bobbing together.

One thing about it he was gonna grab her hand.

I picked up a rock recording Duke, Keenos little cousin as he was teaching me how to skip rocks.

He was one of the cousins that Keeno had that we used to watch when we were younger.

"See you only have to do one thing. " He turned around before looking at my hands and side eyeing me making me suck my teeth. "That's the wrong rock. "

I looked for another one and started complaining "I don't know how to do it you won't teach me." I yelled as I found another one he put his hand out for it.

"Okay look. This how you supposed to do it. "

"Dirty ass fucking rock.." I frowned my face up. "Cause it's a rock it's supposed to have dirt on it, dumbass..."

He paused before looking over at me. "Did you even go to school bitch?"

"Bitch, i'll kick yo ass" I kicked him closer to the pond making him neal down. "Shit" He cursed and I ended the video seeing he wasn't finna teach me shit. "Lil bad ass"
