Chapter 12.
had already left and went to do what he did best, Cyn was wrapped up in a blanket and didn't feel like moving at all.
After their lil' discussion last night he had fallen a sleep and she went to her room and did the same. Her thoughts faded as she heard faint knocks on the front door, rollin' her eyes and sucking her teeth, she unwrapped herself from the blankets and got up, she made her way down the hall and to the front door swinging it open to be faced with Calvin who was leaning on the door post.
"What?" She answered slightly annoyed.
"What the fuck crawled up your ass?" He chuckled pushing Cyn to the side walking in.
"You wasn't invited." She said reminding him slamming the door.
"Relax, Rodney told me to come check up you." He said.
"Check up on me?" She laughed as he nodded.
"How old do I look-"
"You got a body of a twenty-one year old woman but your face features give you away so more than likely seventeen." He said walking to the kitchen and picking up the apple out of the basket.
"Can you at least mind your manners and by the way I'm eighteen." She said squinting her eyes.
"Rodney ain't never mentioned anything 'bout manners, just said to check up on yuh'." He said heading towards her.
"Rodney can go to hell." Cyn mumbled crossing her arms, Calvin was now face to face with Cyn and he gave her a funny look, Cyn stepped back getting uncomfortable as he followed her with each step.
"What's that?" He asked as she looked down at her body confused.
"What's what?"
"Around yo' neck." He said getting closer.

"Nothin'." She stated.
"I done told you..." He said shaking his head.
"Told me what?" She asked.
"You let that nigga get so close, you his and you don't even know it." He shook his head.
"Me and Rodney got no dealings alright his delusional ass just t-"
"It don't matter if y'all got dealings or not Cyn, you in his house and he takin' care of your ass, so therefore he think you his." He shrugged sitting down.
Cyn looked at Calvin confused and wondered more than before, she knew Rodney's ass was crazy but now what she's hearing made her believe that this nigga was a psycho, 'his?' nah, she ain't nobody's, if Rodney thought that this was something' he though dead ass wrong.
"And you know this cause?" She asked raising her brow.
"I grew up with his ass..." He said looking at her.
"So he like your best friend then?" I asked as I heard him sigh.
"You don't have friends when you live the kind of life we do Cyn, no matter how down you are for someone, no matter how long you've known someone or how much you know someone." He stated simply.
"I see..." She mumbled sitting besides him and turning on the TV.
"Why you not in school anyway?" He asked realizing that it was Tuesday.
"I ain't feel like it I guess." She mumbled as he eyed the life out of her.
"I don't understand people like y'all." He said shaking his head.
"What does that mean?" She asked snapping her head towards him.
"You got an opportunity and yet here you are missing out." Cyn rolled her eyes at him, she sat down a seat away from him before turning the television on.

"When you leave you can close the door on your way out." She said leaning back.
"Who said I'm leaving." Cyn watched as he slid his retros off and propped one of his foot up on the coffee table.
She looked at him squinting her eyes as he didn't bother to look back at her, he glared at the TV but it was obvious he wasn't interpreting shit, for the rest of the day she'd see when Calvin would take slick glances at her, but she wouldn't pay him no mind.
had pass and soon Calvin was passed out, she heard keys jingling at the door so she knew Rodney had reached, Calvin was still sitting up with his head throw back as cyn chuckled at the sight until she heard the door open.
Cyn looked back to see Rodney before his eyes traveled over to her where he just held a lopsided grin.
"Why the hell did you give me a baby sitter?" She asked motioning her eyes over to Calvin.
"Probably if you'd think properly sometime I wouldn't have to." He stated, she saw as Calvin shifted in his sleep and his eyes fluttered open, he covered them from the light until he was adjusted to it.
"What the fuck took yo' ass so long bruh, I was 'bout to leave ol' girl alone." He groaned sitting up as Cyn eyed him but he seem to care less.
"I had more shit to handle than I though." He shrugged as Calvin went under the table sliding into his shoes.
"You could've least let me now, I spent most of my damn day here." He said motioning his eyes to Cyn and she turned her head away.
"Well now you know...." Rodney mumbled not really giving a damn.
"Fuck you." Calvin said getting up.
"I'm gone meet with y'all tomorrow tell Link and them that I'm gone be late." He told Calvin, but Calvin didn't respond even though he got the message. Cyn heard the door close and she now knew that he was gone.
"Where were you?" She asked propping up herself.
"You my woman now?" He said giving a side smirk.
"Can I just be someone who's concerned?" Cyn asked in a duh tone.
"You always wanna know somethin' Cyn. I bin doin' business and it's simple as that." She didn't bother to ask nothing else cause she knew her mouth was only gone get her in trouble.
She was bothered at the fact that one day he'll care and the next day he's cold as fuck. But that's just the type of nigga Rodney was, Cyn failed to understand this, niggas like them just don't give no fucks.

I Don't (August Alsina)
"Just tell me you love me, man." He said. I thought about and after what he said, my love for him died. There was no love. He wasn't the same man I fell in love with. He was different. He changed and I didn't love this new guy in front of me. "I can't." I said. He looked at me, tears in his eyes. "Don't do this, man. You love me, baybeh. I know you do."I bit my lip, trying hard not to cry in front of him. "August," I gulped, cursing myself because the tears I said I wouldn't shed, were shedding. "I don't love you anymore. I don't."
