"Hizashi, why are we at the airport?" The (h/c) asked the blonde next to her
"It's a surprise!" The blonde smiled
"What surprise could be at the airport?" She questioned him
"Hizashi! (Y/n)!" A voice called
The female turned around and saw the smiling face of her younger sister. "(S/n)!" The hero smiled as she ran over and met her sister halfway and hugged her.
"Why did you come to Japan?!" She asked, shocked at her sister being in the country.
"I heard about Combustion getting locked away and with how busy you are at work, I figured I'd fly out here to congratulate you!" She smiled as the blonde walked over and hugged his other cousin.
"Well, you could have called. We still have to worry about the League of Villains," (Y/n) told her
"And miss out on hanging with my big sister and cousin? No way!" Her sister beamed
"And, this would be the perfect time for you to meet Shota!" The male suggested
"That's why your here," the female pro looked at her sister with a knowing look.
"Partially," she smiled, "Let's go!"
"Where are you staying?" She asked her sister as the three headed for the train station
"Hotel a few blocks from U.A.,"she answered
"Then you really need to stay safe."
"She's as close to U.A. as she can get! How is it not safe?!" Mic questioned
"Because we were this close to having a villain attack at the Cultural Festival, Hizashi. Remember?" The three of them got on the train and headed to the hotel their family member was staying at.
(S/n) caught the two up on events in (H/c) and with their family back there. In retired the two key hey know everything that had happened here in Japan and what they had been up to.
Once the three reached the hotel, the two pros said good bye to their family member and started heading to U.A. "Wasn't that a surprise!" Mic beamed
"Yes, but know I'm going to be worrying about her while she's here," she told him
"She'll be fine! She's your sister after all. Oh, my mom says that since she's visiting, family-ish dinner tomorrow night. You should bring Shota."
"I'm sure he'll love to come," sarcasm was dripping from her voice as they walked up the stairs to the dorm.
"Sure he will! I'll see you later, I got a radio show to do!" Mic ran back down the stairs as she headed inside.
She walked in and took off her shoes and slipped on her slippers. She but her shoes in their locker as a small girl ran over and hugged her, "Hi Eri," she smiled and rubbed the girls head.
"Where did you go earlier?" The young girl asked
"I went to get my sister from the airport," the pro told her as Aizawa walked over to the two.
"Your sisters in town?" He asked as the two girls met him halfway
"Yeah. Hizashi knew and brought me along. Also, family dinner at my aunt's tomorrow, Hizashi said to bring you. You don't have to come," she said as Eri ran past the two to play with some of her toys
"I'll come," he so easily agreed to that.
"Alright. Didn't expect that out of you," she said as the two walked over and sat on the couch.
"It's been awhile since I've seen his parents and I wanna meet your sister," he said

"Alright," she sighed as she watched the young girl play as they watched the news on TV.
–––
"Hizashi and my sister are already at the house," (Y/n) said as she walked out of her bathroom in her room and grabbed a jacket out of her closet.
Aizawa leaned against her desk and nodded. The two walked out of the room. The got down and said goodbye to the other teachers and Eri as they slipped their shoes on and headed for the train station.
After their train ride and getting off and walking to the Yamada house. "How many Hizashi's am I going to be dealing with?" Aizawa asked as the got onto her aunt's street.
"Two. My sister acts like him but she's not as bad," she answered as they walked up to the front door and knocked.
An older man opened up and smiled at the two. He hugged his niece and Aizawa. The two walked in and took off their shoes and followed him into the dinning/kitchen area.
"So that's the famous Shota Aizawa I've been hearing about!" My sister called as we entered the area
"Change your mind yet?" She asked the male behind her
"She's not as bad as Hizashi," Aizawa shrugged as he greeted his friend and his mother
"Thanks Shota!" The blonde sarcastically said as he set plates on the table.
"I see why she fell for you, you both poke fun at Hizashi," her sister said as stuck her hand at him, "(S/n) Yamada. It's nice to finally meet you."
Aizawa shook her hand and gave a small smile, "It's nice to meet you too,"
"(Y/n), (S/n), help Hizashi with the plates," the older women said
"Do you need help with anything?" Aizawa asked
"No it's fine Shota, you can relax," her aunt smiled at the ravenette.
"Yeah, just watch my sister and see how good she'd be as your wife," (S/n) said as she helped Hizashi and her sister set the table.
"(S/n)!" (Y/n) yelled as she set a plate down
"(F/n)!" Her aunt warned
"Sorry," she apologized and continued helping.
Hizashi glanced at Aizawa wiggled his eyebrows, he hadn't forgotten about their conversation after her father was taken into police custody.
"How have you been feeling, (Y/n)?" Her uncle asked as he offered the dark haired man a glass of whiskey, to which the teacher accepted
"Much better," she told him as the three adults finished setting the table.
"Let me help you with the cooking, mom," Hizashi said as he walked over to his mother in the kitchen
"I can do it Hizashi. I've been doing it while your off saving people, teaching children, and hosting your radio show," his mom said, shooing him out of the kitchen.
"Since when do you want to help with cooking? You never did it when we were kids!" (S/n) said as (Y/n) stood next to Aizawa
"I'm an adult now," Hizashi told her
"An adult with the mind of a child most of the time," Aizawa said
"Is no one of my side tonight?" The blonde asked
"We do it out of love," (Y/n) told him
"But most of the time you scream at people for a living and that's a child dream," (S/n) laughed
"Seems funny now, but when he was a kid, him and your sister used their quirks on each other whenever they were together," the blondes father said the younger girl there

"Imagine being in a class with both of them, then working with them years later," Aizawa said
"You loved us then and you love us now," (Y/n) told the dark haired male
"One more than the other," Aizawa responded
"Marry my sister already, goddamn," (S/n) called from the other side of the kitchen
"(S/n), let them be. They'll take the next step when they're ready. Frankly, I never thought he'd get a girlfriend." The older women said as she made her son start putting the food on the table.
"I'm still surprised too," Hizashi said
"Can we stop talking about Shota and I getting married. We've been together for a few months marriage isn't on the mind right now," (Y/n) said.
"You're in your thirtys and unmarried. We're not gonna drop it. Mom and dad would agree with me!" (S/n) said
"Hizashi is too and unmarried. Get on him about it."
"I'm not in a relationship, you are," the blonde hero said as he set the rest of the food on the table.
"Stop arguing you three, you'll scare Shota away," the blondes mom said as everyone made their way to the table
"If that were the case, I wouldn't be friends with Hizashi after all these years," Aizawa said
"Oh! My mom wants a picture of all of us together!" (S/n) said as she handed her phone to her uncle at the head of the table.
"Alright, smile," the older man held the phone up and snapped a few photos of the family and handed the phone back.
"Thank you!" She smiled and put her phone away and everyone grabbed their food and ate and talked.
"Hizashi, Shota, do you two need a refill?"
"I'm good dad, thank you though," the blonde said
"I'm fine. Thank you," the tired man asked
"(Y/n), (S/n), do you two want some?"
"I'm fine," the younger girl said
"I can't, I'm still on medications," the other said
"Still? You don't have DID anymore, shouldn't you get taken off?" Hizashi asked
"I'm still prone to depression and anxiety because of what Combustion did to me when I was a kid," she explained
"Well, thankfully he can't do anything else," her aunt said
"Doesn't mean others can't. If I got kidnapped by a villain and I was went through serious trauma, I could relapse and gain alters again."
"That's a worse case scenario. It won't happen," Hizashi said
"You guys are pro heroes, anything could happen at anytime," (S/n) said as everyone started finishing up their meal.
"She's right. We can't promise something won't happen, but we can prepare for if it does happen," Aizawa said
After dinner, the two siblings helped their aunt clean up as the three men sat in the living room with their glasses of whiskey.
"Shota, you didn't deny any of the marriage stuff that was being thrown around earlier. Have you thought about it? Marrying (Y/n)?" The elder asked
"Recently yes. After Combustion was taken into custody and seeing how she handled the entire situation, I decided that one day I would," Aizawa replied
"She's been through alot, we don't know how stable she is right now. Are you sure you want to take on a responsibility like that?"
"Dad, she's not a kid anymore. She knows her limits and when to stop. She's been stable for years," Hizashi defended
"It doesn't matter how stable or unstable she is, she's a great hero and amazing women. I'd gladly spend the rest of my life with her," Aizawa finished off his drink and set the glass on the table.
"He does show affection," the blonde joked
"Shut up," Aizawa told him as the three girls finished cleaning and joined them on the couch.
"What we miss?" (S/n) asked
"Man talk," Hizashi said
"So nothing interesting," (Y/n) said
"(B/n) would think it's interesting," Hizashi leaned back
"Not with what we were talking about," his father said, taking a sip of his alcohol
"He doesn't like anything you guys talk about," (Y/n) said
"(S/n), you should have brought him with you," her aunt said
"He's busy with school. A bunch of his friends are going to the hero course and they're starting their 'training' so he's joining them."
"He's going into the hero course?" Hizashi asked, "following his oldest sisters footsteps?
"You and her. If (Y/n) was still in (H/c) he said he would have done his internship with her if she put one in for him," she said
"Convince your parents to move here. He could attend U.A.!" Hizashi exclaimed
"Please don't. I don't need mom and dad breathing down my neck again," (Y/n) begged her sister
"Maybe," the young girl said
"He'd have two heroes in his corner if he got accepted. Is that the smartest thing?" Aizawa questioned
"No," Hizashi and (S/n) said
"Aren't you in Shinso's corner?" (Y/n) questioned her boyfriend.
"I'm only training him. Our entrance exam this year was in favor of those with physical quirks. I'm simply giving him a second chance to prove himself," Aizawa explained
"Sounds like you're in his corner," Hizashi sipped the last of his drink.
"It's too late to deal you," Aizawa said
"You about ready to go then?"
"You can stay, this is your family, you should spend time with them," Aizawa said
"Oh please, take her with you. She's spent enough time with her family over the years, it's time she spends time with someone else," her aunt said
"Thanks Auntie," the female said sarcastically
"Your welcome dear," her aunt and uncle giggled at their niece
"I'll see you two back at the dorm later," the blonde smiled at the two as they got up to gather their things.
The couple said their goodbyes and left the Yamada home. The two headed to the train station and waited on the platform.
"Sorry about my family tonight," she said
"Don't apologise for it. It was nice," he replied to her
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, (Y/n). There's no need to apologise for it," Aizawa reassured her as the train came to a stop, "doesn't matter how they act anyways. I'll still love you the same."
"I love you too, Shota." She told him as the pair got on the train and took their seats. The transportation system made its way to Musutafu.
Once the two where back at the dorm, they lied in bed together in (Y/n)'s room, "Can I ask you something?" Aizawa questioned as the women next to him played around with his hands as she tried to fall asleep.
"Sure," she replied
"Hypothetically, if we were to get married, what kind of wedding would you want?" He asked
"I don't know. I really never gave it much thought. Probably have family and friends at the ceremony and a small reception after. Why?" She asked
"No reason," he told her

The Last Science [SE]
[SE has the same content as the original story, split into smaller chunks for easier reading. This story is on a temporary hiatus due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. I work in healthcare and unfortunately no longer have the freetime to continue posting on a regular basis. As soon as our workload decreases, I will return. Thanks for reading! 💙] No one ever knows the whole story. Deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, the fading town of Rallsburg stumbles upon an amazing discovery—magic itself. Faced with potentially world-shattering power, the people of Rallsburg keep the secret for themselves. Led by Rachel DuValle, a perpetually underestimated college student with grand ambitions, they seek to found a new society. The world beyond suspects nothing, but magic cannot stay hidden forever. A train arrives in Rallsburg carrying Alden Bensen, a directionless high school graduate. To him, magic could represent meaning for his life, an explanation for his empty existence. This potent force offers anyone the power to change humanity forever—or send it cascading into swift and total annihilation. The Last Science is an ongoing science-fiction / low-fantasy web novel series, focused on the modern world with a twist. New societies bud and grow, but the people who make them up are imperfect and flawed. The story includes elements of mystery, action, crime, interpersonal drama, relationships, philosophy, sociology, politics, and much more, all centered on the perspective characters driving the tale. This is the "Scraps Edition" of the story, where the chapters have been split up into bite-size chunks (roughly 1500-3000 words), for your convenience. The prose has been edited from its original form, with some improvements, but there are no content differences from the original. New chapters will be posted throughout each week starting on Friday and appearing on multiple days thereafter, depending on the length of the chapter. Content Warning (by request): This series delves into some topics and situations which may be upsetting for some readers. In American rating parlance, the narrative would be rated PG-13 (except for language), but some have noted the story can get pretty dark on occasion. Please use your best judgment, and don't be afraid to take breaks and come back later. I'll still be here! [Discord] - come hang out and chat! Chaos uploaded
At year 2100, there was a new game that was being developed: "Realms of chaos" With cutting edge technology, realistic physics(At least, as far as fantasy-medieval worlds goes), and immersion to the point one could believe it was real, it is destined to become world-wide famous. Two siblings, Nysa and Inas, received the right of beta-testing the game, along with other players...although with the beta-test, many difficulties came together with it: Unfair enemies, lack of clues, lack of linear paths, and above all, no set of rules of how one should play. Nysa, being the less competitive out of the two siblings, has decided to play the game just for fun.But little does she knows how much the action of a single player, who just wants to explore and have fun, can change the realm of chaos. This is my first story, and I'll upload whenever I manage to get through the writers' block.Due to college starting, uploads might be erratic. Feel free to review and comment!
