After dropping Casper off at the daycare, Simon and Aaron drove off to the mall again. It was crowded once again, it was a Saturday so it made sense. The first place they headed to was a shop that sold utensils for babies and toddlers. There, they got a few sippy cups with Disney and Pixar characters on them. They found really cute plates and bowls along with small spoons. They headed to another area that sold pacifiers and scented bubble bath bombs.

Next was clothes: overalls, graphic T-shirt's, hats, beanies, headbands and more. They got it all. After that they visited a book store and went into the children's section, Aaron had read most of them since they were all in the playroom but he did manage to find seven that were new. The next place they visited was probably Aaron's favourite: Stuffies!

"There's so many!" Aaron exclaimed, eyes glowing brightly at the sight.

"Pick out as many as you'd like, buy the whole store if you have to." Simon smiled down at him.

"I can't do that! The other kids won't have any stuffies." He pouted.

"Oh wow, you're right. Okay, leave some for the other kids." He nodded and Aaron smiled widely again, skipping over and looking around for whatever caught his eye.

He found so many adorable things. KakaoTalk's Ryan, Pikachu, Hello Kitty, koala plushie, and even the Dango from Clannad was there too.

He traveled a little further in the store and stumbled upon a Monster High section. He wandered mindlessly and ended up bumping into something.

He quickly apologised and looked forward to see a familiar face. "Mister!" She was first to speak up, a bright smile taking over her features.

"Oh! Maxi!" He pointed at her with a smile. It was the little girl he had met at the zoo. The one who had gifted him the cute Hello Kitty Headband.

"What are you doing here, mister?" She asked.

"Getting stuffies." He replied.

"Mister." She giggled. "You're too big to need stuffies."

"You never to big to need stuffies!" He put on a face and folded his arms over his chest.

"Alright then. I came to get Monster High dolls. But I can't choose which one I like best." She looked over at the shelve that had the dolls all lined up.

Aaron looked at them and thought for a while. "That one looks interesting." He pointed at one that had yellow hair and green-like skin.

"Whoa she's my favourite one!" Maxi jumper. "But I already have a Lagoona Blue" She pouted and looked back at the shelve.

"The one with pigtails is cute too." He pointed at the one he had been talking about.

"Max, have you chosen one yet?" They heard a women's voice say.

Aaron turned over to the voice and saw another familiar face walk up to them. "Ms Lexi?" Aaron questioned once she remembered her to be the lady from the day before at the ice cream parlour.

"Oh! Aaron. Wasn't expecting to meet you here." She chuckled and reached her hand out to him. "How you doing?" She asked as she shook his hand.

"I'm good, A-and you?" He became shy all of a sudden. She had such warm hands.

"Pretty okay. What are you doing here?"

"Mister came to buy stuffies mommy. Cause you're never too big for stuffies." Maxi smiled up at them.

"Are you here with anyone?" Alexa smiled at Maxi and asked Aaron.

"D-s-Sy is by—oh! There he is!" He saw Simon making a turn from Aaron's right.

Alexa turned to look over there as the man approached them. "Ari, are you done yet?" Simon asked him once he reached where he was standing.

"Mhm." Aaron nodded and looked over at the cart filled with so much stuffed animals.

"Great, we should probably head home, it's almost lunch time." Simon said and ruffled Aaron's hair. He turned his head to see Maxi and Alexa just blankly staring at them.

"Oh, Sy, this Maxi and Lexi." Aaron introduced them, pointing at the two.

"Hi. You must be Aaron's boyfriend I presume." Alexa said with a smile, reaching her hand out to him.

"Uh...I am. Are you a friend of Aaron?" Simon nodded, shaking her hand.

"I mean. I hope so." She laughed, glancing over at Aaron.

"If I was just a stranger I would've mistaken you two for siblings." Simon said with a small laugh as well.

Alexa chuckled nervously and nodded her head. "Well...Max and I should be on our way. Her dad is waiting for us outside." She said, looking over at Maxi.

"I guess I'll take Draculaura." Maxi said and picked up the doll off the shelve. "I'll see you around mister!" She waved to Aaron and took ahold of Alexa's hand.

"B-bye." Aaron waved at both of them with a genuine smile.

"When did you guys meet?" Simon asked once the two had gone over to the cash register.

"I met Maxi at the zoo and Lexi yesterday with Nate and Alan." He replied.

"And that was the first time you met that Lexi?"

"Mhm." He nodded.

They head home and decided to set everything up in Aaron's room. Although Simon didn't mention the secret playroom at all. Aaron wanted him to bring it up, he had opened up to Simon about his problems and he just wanted Simon to do the same. The way things were going, he felt a little distrusted. He understood where Simon was coming from, maybe he wasn't ready to tell him about this 'Delaney'. Maybe he just couldn't handle talking about it.

After a while of getting everything settled in the house, they finally had their lunch. It was just macaroni and cheese, some potatoes and the saddest looking broccoli and cucumbers ever seen on the face of the universe.

"Stop giving them that face, they won't eat themselves you know." Simon said to Aaron who glared at his greens with such a disgusted face.

He looked up at Simon with huge eyes. "Daddy, Not Hungry anymore." He said and was about to stand up but was pulled back down.

"Come on peach. I can't give let you neglect your veggies. Just three bites and I'll let you go." Simon begged.

"T-three? I-it too many." He pulled out the saddest expression he could think off.

Simon tried to look away but couldn't. "Fine, one and a half. And that's final!" He gave in.

"Yay! Daddy is the best daddy in the whole wide world!" Aaron cheered, throwing his hands in the air and pecking Simon on the cheeks.

After lunch time, they watched movies, starting with the light hearted Monsters Inc and ending in dreadful tears from the film Wolf Children.

After movies, it was nap time. Simon let Aaron go to bed and went over to his own bedroom to work on some files from the agency. That's when Aaron was pulled out of little space. It felt a little strange, he had been in it for quite a while now and coming back to his normal age made him fell like he was previously in a different world.

He grabbed his cellphone off the nightstand and was greeted with a 'hi' from Alexa. It wouldn't hurt to star a conversation, she would be the first friend—other than Alan—he ever talks to.

He stared it simple. "Hi Ms Lexi" He wrote.

"I'm going to guess this is Aaron?" She wrote a few seconds later.

"Yeah." He replied. "Did you and Maxi get home safely?" He wrote again.

"Yeah. Thanks for worrying." She sent.

"No problem." He sent a smiley face.

A few minutes passed before his phone vibrated. "Max says she wants to meet you again." The message read. "She's really grown a liking to you."

"REALLY?!" He smiled widely. "I wouldn't mind meeting her too. We should make a play date." He sent.

"When are you free?"

"Simon doesn't work tomorrow so we can go then."

"Sounds good." A thumbs up followed afterwards.

Aaron lay back on his bed and looked up at the ceiling. He mentally squealed for a bit before composing himself. This was a totally a big deal to him. He was always ignored and or picked on in middle school and secondary school so he never got the chance to text friends and make meetings and such. Although he was going out with a five-six year old, it still felt like a dream come true!
