"Do you know where the bunny is?" Dora asked and Aaron jumped up with excitement.
"Behind the tree! I see bunny ears!" He bubbled out.
"Wow! So smart! Good job." Dora said and pulled out a thumbs up, smiling widely on the screen.
Aaron and Alan had gone through the seven episodes of Dora The Explorer so far and Alan wasn't having anymore of it. "Daddy!" He called out to Nathan who was in the kitchen while fixing a snack for them. "I'll go crazy if I watch one more of this! Please change it." He said.
"But Aaron seems to be having fun." Nathan said back.
"It's boring now, I know all answers! I wanna watch Nemo!" He whined, Folding his arms around his chest to emphasise just how angry he was.
"Alright baby, right after this episode okay."
"Alright fine." Alan nodded, dragging the last word out.
After the episode of Dora, Nathan played Finding Nemo for the two and gave them a plate of animal nuggets and bunny shaped apple slices. He liked Nathan and Alan's relationship, they seemed really close and weren't afraid of saying anything to one another.
Aaron looked at the snacks before him. He had never had anything like that and was now to afraid to consume one due to how pretty they looked.
"Oh look!" He pointed at the plate suddenly.
"What is it little one?" Nathan asked kindly.
"I find Memo!" He giggled, clapping his hands and feeling proud of himself.
Alan looked down at the animal nuggets and his own eyes grew at the fish shaped one. "Whoa! It's Nemo!" He looked up at Nathan.
"Good job sweetie. How about we go get you guys ice cream for being such great little detectives." Nathan said to them, ruffling both of the boys hair.
"Yay!" They both cheered in unison.
After putting on their shoes, they headed out to buy their well deserved treat. They stopped at the ice cream parlour it was a small shop near the park so they had a few outdoor table setups with patio umbrellas.
Nathan asked the boys what flavours they were wanted and went over to make his order.
"Three orders for Nathan, Alan and Aaron." They looked up to see a woman standing there with a tray in her hands.
She was very pretty, at least Aaron thought so: grey eyes, chocolate brown hair, a few splattered freckles on her cheeks and nose, and a nice figure body.

"Thank you." Nathan said and stood up, helping her place the orders down on the table.
"Enjoy." She grinned at everyone and once she locked eyes with Aaron, she paused. She looked taken aback and shocked for a few seconds before shaking her head and bidding them goodbye.
"What a weird lady." Alan said and scooped a spoonfull of his ice cream sundae.
"Oh come on baby, be nice." Nathan said to him.
"But, she was staring at Ari all weird." He protested.
Aaron looked over at the parlour and saw that the woman had been looking back at him. He have her a kind smile before turning back his ice cream and not thinking too much about her.
After ice cream, Nathan decided to let them play around the park for a while.
He stayed at the table and watched as they played tag on the field. He then saw Alan running towards him while panting with Aaron not too far. "D-daddy...I need pee." Alan said and sat in Nathan's lap to catch his breath.
"Alright. Ari, why don't you sit here. We'll be back in just a second." He said.
"Alrighty!" Aaron replied and sat down on the stool.
He mindlessly began humming Just Keep Swimming to himself while swaying his head from side to side until he felt a hand on his shoulder.
He turned around with a start but calmed down when he noticed it was just the lady from before.
"We have some strawberries left over, would you like some?" She asked with a genuine smile sporting her face.
Aaron looked down at the bowl of strawberries in her hands and looked back up. "T-thank you." He shyly said.
She placed the bowl on the table. "So, you're Aaron right?" Aaron nodded. "I'm Alexa, but friends call me Alex or Lexi." She said.
"Lexi is pretty." Aaron said, he didn't want to sound too little but he was finding it difficult to form his words.
"Oh thank you. I really like your name too." She returned the compliment. "How old are you?" She sat across from him.
"T-" he paused. "Eighteen." He smiled at her.
"Wow, you're so young, what school do you attend?"
He fiddled with his fingers and tried to force himself out of little space. "Ari...I don't go right now." He managed to say.

"So you're taking a gap year huh? That's nice. Do you have a girlfriend?"
"Da...b-boyfriend."
"Whoa. A boyfriend?" Aaron nodded.
"Sy is very, very pretty! Wanna see a picture?" His eyes lit up as he pulled his phone out.
"Sure thing." She replied, resting her chin on her palm.
He searched through his images and found the perfect picture of Simon making a piece sign over his hazel eyes with a toothy smile present. "See," He showed the lady.
"Wow, he's gorgeous. He's your boyfriend?" She pointed at the image.
"Sy said he loves me more than anything and would go to any means necessary to protect me so yeah." Aaron smiled widely. He loved Simon to pieces and certainly was not afraid to show him off to anyone. Although he was a bit confused on how far they were in their relationship. Simon hadn't exactly made it clear that they were dating.
"Hey can I ask you a question?" Aaron nodded. "Can I have your number?" Aaron felt a bit uneasy.
He was breaking out of little space now and as trustworthy as the woman looked, when someone asked for your number after talking to you only once, it didn't show good signs.
"Actually, how about I give you my number and you can decide whether you want to talk or not." She said instead.
"Oh, Okay." He nodded nod went to his 'add contact' section. The women read out her number and he saved it.
"It was nice talking to you Aaron. Hope to see you here again." She stood up from the stool.
"It was nice meeting you too Ms Lexi." He smiled at her.
She smiled back and walked over to the parlour.
Aaron turned his head down to his cellphone, looking at the women's ID.
Soon after, Nathan and Alan returned with Alan on Nate's back. "Is Alan Okay?" Aaron asked worriedly.
"Daddy, it hurts really bad." Alan whined.
"I know baby. He's just a little worm out." Nathan said to Aaron.
"Worn out from using the bathroom?" Aaron asked himself.
They reached the apartment and found that Casper was still asleep just as they had left him. Nathan put Alan to sleep and allowed Aaron to shower, lending him some of Alan's denim shorts and a T-shirt with a cute blue koala on the front.
Aaron watched the rest of Dora The Explorer until he too collapsed on the sofa.
When he woke up, he was in a car. He looked forward and saw that Simon was the one driving, putting his heart at rest.
"Hey peach, sleep well?" Aaron blushed at the nickname first before rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.
"Morning daddy." He greeted with a yawn.
Simon chuckled. "Morning." He said back. Although it was already eight at night. "How was your day with Nate and Alan?"
"We had ice cream and played in park." He replied.
"Was it fun?"
"Yup! Nate said Alan and Ari were good little detectives cause we found Memo."
"Wow. Even I couldn't find Me-uh Nemo on my own. You're so clever." Aaron giggled at the compliment. "Daddy should buy you a present. I don't have work tomorrow so wanna go out shopping?" He asked and looked back once he stopped at a red light.
"Okie!" Aaron said with a goofy grin.
"So are we sleeping in daddy's bed today?" Simon asked once Aaron finished putting on his pyjamas.
"Yes please!" Aaron bubbled and jumped into Simons hands unexpectedly. Simon nearly dropped him but managed to keep him up by holding on to his hips as his legs wrapped around his waist.
"Please don't do that again, you could've gotten hurt." Simon sighed in relief.
"I know daddy will always catch Ari so not scared." Aaron said and wrapped his arms around Simons neck.
Simons heart felt light. Being given such a responsibility made him happy and worried at the same time. He was thrilled and grateful that Aaron had grown so much trust in him. When they first met, the boy would twitch even when he brushed his nail on his hand. Now, he was throwing himself at him, having faith that Simon will be there to make sure he doesn't fall. What worried him though was the thought of breaking that. He didn't want to hurt Aaron so when a big responsibility such as that came up, he felt a little overwhelmed. Aaron was an adorable little bunny and he was a little scared that he'd end up scratching him.
They went to bed and cuddled until Aaron soon fell asleep.
