《Aurelion》Chapter 5

The demi-human flew towards Alduin at full speed. At that moment, it seemed as time froze. At one side, the demi-human charging towards Alduin, the Eagle spirit's claws pointing at him, while Alduin was just standing there, like he didn't even notice anything. Then, time continued and a loud boom was created. Once again, Alduin was casually blocking the attack with his hand, grabbing the demi-human's fist. This time, the land below Alduin broke into dust, the winds the attack created was powerful enough to blow all other trees in circular area, creating a bald spot in the area with a radius of about 300 meters.
The eagle spirit can be seen in a really angry state, wings opened wide, and claws barely touching Alduin. Alduin was just fine, except for some strains of hair that got messed up by the wind. "So that's the power of a god? Not even a single scratch from all that power?"
"Yea" answered Kishi, "But that's only because this is his world. Although he might be in his world, which means in his strongest state, that man was still stronger than him"
"That man? The same person that...." This time, I was interrupted by a huge, ear clenching squawk. I turned my attention to the eagle spirit. The eagle lifted its wings and made a huge flap downwards, creating a short burst of a hurricane level wind, blowing dust up from the ground, as it flew upwards so quickly it basically teleported, 200 meters from the surface, and it dropped Alduin into a free fall.
The demi-human flew about a hundred meters away, and dived towards Alduin again, leaving behind a yellow trail. It attacked Alduin, flew straight for another hundred meters, then took a turn and dashed towards Alduin again. It repeated the attacks again and again, only faster and faster each time. At one point, it looked like Alduin was in the middle of a tornado, the only thing is that the eye of the tornado, where the winds are the most calm, didn't exist. The attacks where so fast that it's like there were three of them attacking Alduin at the same time from three different directions.

The attack continued for about a whole minute. I was surprised to find Alduin just staying there, looking like he don't even have the slightest idea of counterattacking or dodging. Then, the demi-human disappeared for a split second. I heard sudden a loud squawk , this time it came from the sky higher up. I looked up, and saw the demi-human dropping downwards at insane speeds once again, like a nuclear bomb that was launched from space, and also powered by a rocket engine, aiming directly at Alduin. It seemed like it was going for an all or nothing final blow, an attack was going to use up all its power and hurting itself that it would instantly be knocked out but hoping that it might take out Alduin at the same time. As it came down, I felt the insane power, much much much stronger than the first sky attack that it felt like comparing someone dropping a balloon and an airplane.
I looked at Alduin, and found him just staring at it, no signs of attacking back or just moving out of the way. It was a direct hit and Alduin was pushed right to the ground from 150 meters up. Right before Alduin hit the ground, Kishi pulled me into a small hole.
Although I didn't get to see the direct landing, the effects made me thankful for it. It was extremely devastating. Hell like winds swept the land and clear all the trees in a one and a half miles radius, which meant I would have faced the same fate as the trees if Kishi never pulled me. The atmosphere was filled with dust blown up by the wind, but only for a few seconds.
After the dust settled, or should I say blown away, I found the demi-human standing in the middle of the circle. The eagle spirit has disappeared, but I think that it used up all its energy and went back into the demi-human's body was the more likely explanation. The demi-human seemed to be laughing. I quickly looked towards Alduin, but saw him lying there, looking into space and beyond, like nothing even happened, exactly like a person enjoying sun bathing on a beach. The demi-human suddenly fell onto his knees, just like it had lost all of its energy, which I expected but never thought it still found energy to laugh, and then the whole body just fell flat onto the ground. Then, there was no movement for a few seconds from both of them. The demi-human lying face flat on the ground while Alduin lying on the ground and looking at the sky.

I turned behind to see the amount of destruction that attack left behind. Trees totally dried up, a small river that was in the affected zone, also totally dried up, and a strange movement in a stack of burned tree barks.
"Wait what? A movement?" I thought to myself. I confirmed that there was something moving, then I told Kishi "Something is over there!"

AOT: Boats
I know, the title doesnt seem to make sense. Its an acronym. For what? Hm. T means True. Up to you otherwise. Oh, right. The acronym actually does have an impact on one of the themes of the "story". At the same time I mixed it up with a reference to the original plan for this when I started, so yay. A double. Well, actually, a triple. Again, up to you. I should also mention that, as the rhyme that starts the story probably tells you, its gonna get kinda disturbing. All kinds of disturbing. Just to let you know.

Valley City. Up until around twenty years ago, it had been a nowhere place. Just a bunch of towns with no real reputation. Now, though, it's known for its progression in medical science. The Medical Technologies Company. It seemed to suddenly appear out of nowhere in the middle of what's now called City Center. Once just a manufacturer and developer of medical equipment, it eventually started to dabble in medical research. Before anyone even knew it, they were the leading research entities, with five seperate buildings in Valley City alone, all towering above everything else in the area. Some say they even swayed the local government into combining the old towns into one city and popularized prosthetic limbs as fashion themselves, but that's just gossip. Matthew Vega. A 25-year-old college dropout, tricked by MediTech into being experimented on under the pretense of participating in a clinical trial for rent money. After being broken out of their facility nearly a year after having her limbs replaced, then having her liberator captured, she seeks a way to dismantle the company or save the one she cares about. NOTE: Currently I am working on a rewrite. I will post a new chapter once that is ready, listed as V2CH-001. I hope you look forward to it.
