"The birth of Life"
Brielle was cursing the old goat in her mind. She is the head scout and she needed to make sure all the members of her team were safe. The reckless old man didn't make the job easier so after checking on Micah, they both started running after Todd.
When Micah came into the clearing, he saw Sidon rise from behind the beast corpse. He found himself still to admire the image of the colossal man: Almost two meters tall with the symbol of the First Hunter stuck into the ground near him, the only boar spear of the village as tall as him and almost as imposing. His muscles have muscles on them but he's still fast and agile while being the strongest man he's ever known. His head is full of long and curly black hair with some stray grey strands, his face is covered with a long and bushy beard with the same colours making it seems like he got a mane surrounding his intense brown eyes. His upper body is covered by a cape made with the pelt of the Alpha wolf he himself hunted and the parts uncovered are almost full of scars. While hare hide pants cover his legs, his feet stood bare.
After Sidon retrieved the child from the mouth of the beast he acted fast, unlacing his mantle and making a makeshift bundle.
"Bri, catch!"

The First Hunter yelled when he saw the head scout come out of the woods and threw the bundle.
While Brielle was shocked from the sudden throw, she was still a veteran and caught the bundle, after wich she peeked inside.
"You crazy son of a bear! What if I didn't catch him?!"
When she saw there was a baby inside she screamed.
"Bri, that's a gift for my wife, top priority. Sound your emergency horn. That air wave and sound has surely made any animal near here run away so the scouts will find nothing today, it's better to gather everyone inside the village. Todd give me your shovel,I gotta start digging a hole for this thing. Oh Bri, tell Fia and Bob that I'll be home before dark."
Sidon started giving orders.
"Todd give him what he asked for, we have work to do."
She picked the horn and started sounding the alarm, mirrored by the other scout squadrons a little later, they would just need to go back inside the village and wait for Sidon's full report.
"Are we gonna obey what he tells us to do blindly?"
Todd asked.
"Yes we are, those are the rules: Outside the village, everyone obeys the First Hunter, inside we obey the Chief thats it! We lived our entire lives this way."
Brielle answered.
"But he's a dick!"
Todd grumbled.
"Yes,yes, he's a dick, still the best hunter we ever had. Now don't make me repeat my self and move! Double time!"
Brielle just accelerated her march and ordered behind her back.
When the head scout's party got back at the village they were the last ones to arrive, the wooden wall was manned by the hunters with bows at the ready.

"Open the doors! There shouldn't be any danger but keep the look out and wait for Sidon's return!"
Brielle hollered.
Once inside the village, Brielle marched towards Sidon's house and found Fianna outside, waiting for her husband's return.
"Fianna! Catch!"
Brielle yelled throwing the bundle to the woman.
"Your husband found a gift for you in the woods."
Brielle continued.
"My Sidon is always so thoughtful, he knows I would have loved to have a child and he got me one!"
Fianna opened the bundle and blushed.
"Crazy couple." The scout just sighed and shook her head. " Your husband will come back before dark, he will probably stop and talk with Robert and the council before coming here."
Just as the sun was about to disappear behind the trees, Sidon appeared at the border of the village and told the hunters to return to the normal patrols, there was no special emergency as he took care of everything but to still keep an eye open for movements into the night. When he arrived at the village chief house, the council was already there.
"No council this time, only Bob, Bri, Fia and me."
Sidon said curtly.
He walked inside, took a gourd of wine and sat himself on a chair while putting his dirty feet on the council table, when the other three got in, Brielle scowled, Robert shook his head.
"Dear, I know you were working for us and you are tired but remember to be civilized inside the village."
Fianna chided him.
The First Hunter made a pleading expression, but as his wife seemed irremovable, so he relented and put his feet down while everyone else got a seat.
"As Bri probably already told you, there was a big flash of light and a big movement of hot air, when I got there I saw burnt ground and a beast corpse, then I heard a breathing sound and found the child. As my wife probably noticed, it's not a normal child, his skin is too white and I can't see any veins, I know it's a kid and not a doll 'cause it's breathing."
The chief and scout were about to talk but he interrupted them.
"Not only that, the beast looked like a wolf at the start, but as I pried the kid out of its maw, I noticed some things, it was big, even bigger than the bear I killed. Its limbs were too long, the front ones had paws that looked like clawed hands, the ribs were in the wrong position, they looked human. The teeth were razor sharp, it was biting the kid so hard that while trying to pry it off, I cut my fingers slightly but the kid's skin was totally fine, that's why I thought it was fine to throw it."
Finished Sidon after nodding to Brielle.
"Ok so you buried the beast and saved a strange baby, what do we do now?"
Robert got up and said.
"We do nothing, the beast is dead and it's not a strange baby, it's the baby my husband gifted me so the two of us will raise it!"
Fianna said with a smile.

The Wolf Saga, Wolf that Devours Empires
The Empire of Human is about to enter a turbulent era. A World Power has fallen. But mere hours after dying, he is reborn as a half-human, half-elf boy named Wolf. The story follows this odd boy as he grows up, his relationship with his father and those around him, his lack of common sense from being raised in the wilderness, and his desire for revenge. Witness Wolf's journey as he aspires to climb to the peak of the world to unravel its mysteries, and as he tries to figure out why it’s wrong to decapitate a street thug when the man tries to mug you. “I mean, the man literally said ‘Money or life,’ so what’s the big deal?” Releases Mon/Wen/Fri. (GMT-ish) Trigger warning. The Wolf Saga may not be suited for you if any of the following disturbs you: - The story will have fighting and killing. The gore will not be explicit, but there will be descriptions such as "head burst like a melon", "instantly turned to cinders", "blood splashed/fountained" etc. Most of the violence will be performed by the protagonist, some of it before he reaches his teens. If such scenes bother you, you should probably give Wolf a pass. - The story will have sexual content. It's there for a reason. Once again, these scenes will not be explicit. Genitals will be mentioned sometimes, but never described in detail. Nude bodies will be described in passing, without too many specific details. If you're afraid of nipples, you should probably give Wolf a pass. - The story will have a decent amount of cursing. If you haven't given up by now, this is unlikely to bother you. Still, I believe I should forewarn you that a number of curse words will be making appearance from time to time. - The story will have no small amount of loss for the main character. If you enjoy novels in which everything is fine, the protagonist makes it at the last moment and saves the day... This is not such a story. Life happens. As a reader, I'm annoyed with heroes making it in the nick of time, so for the sake of fairness I used dice on a number of occasions, making do with the result. Sometimes it was anticlimactic, sometimes it was tragic and it led to the story you see before you. Dedication: This story is written for Tired Mom and Wolf, whose arrival the rest of the pack is eagerly awaiting. Thanks: I would like to thank Tired Mom for her proofreading and encouragement over the years. I would like to thank you, Dear Reader, for taking the time to read this big pile of words.
