《The Coin of Fate》Chapter 3 Little Wolf

"Life tried her best to fill the Plane of Creation, She created pocket dimensions and filled them with Planes and Worlds. Then She made the inhabitants and let them roam and grow as they wanted. No limits made the creatures act in different ways and grow diverse. Those distinctions and the novelty of it pleased Fate."

"The early inhabitants"
After Sidon, Fianna and the child left, Robert and Brielle just watched each other's incredulous faces for a while.
"I didn't know that Fianna's smile could be so scary, so... What do we really do now?"
The head scout broke the silence.
"There are monstrous animals in the woods, strange children that probably turn into fireballs and Sidon brought that very fire hazard inside our village. Still, even if we send a letter to inform the Crown, no one will believe us."
Robert sighed.
"So we do nothing and hope for the best?"
Brielle scowled.
"I haven't seen Fianna smile like that in a while, twenty snows ago, when the merchant's caravan came in all bloody and battered, we sent the hunters to hit back hard against the bandits, a young Sidon came back with a girl in his arms, she was hit by three arrows in the stomach, but was still lucid enought to hide with the bodies of the deceased and survived long enough to be found by us."
Robert filled two cups with some wine, after giving one to Brielle and empting his, he replied.
"Even if I was young, I remember when it happened. It was a tragedy, we lost good people, friends and merchants. Fianna lost her family, but Sidon found her in time, we healed her and life continued, what's your point?"
The scout interrupted the chief tirade.

"This is not known to many, but we did not fully heal Fianna, the arrows were too deep and cut important parts, the caretakers did what they could, but it wasn't enough, Fianna cannot have a child, that's why she was so happy with this situation."
Robert sighed again, today I'm sighing too much, I'll look even older if this goes on for too much.
"Poor girl, she must have suffered a lot."
Brielle put her hands to her face and her eyes started to redden.
"Yeah, she became a great caretaker, spreading her love and playing with the children she could not have on her own. But she kept her pain and fury inside, on the occasional bandit assault, each arrow she shot was a death sentence for one of those bastards. Let her have a moment of happiness, go visit them from time to time and keep an eye on the child."
Robert sighed again, I should stop.
Brielle saluted and left, Robert left alone scowled.
Everyone left for the night, but I still need to call in the council that Sidon
dismissed so eagerly and cover up this mess. Dear, why did you leave alone when I needed you the most? Every day I feel like I'm older and nearer you again.
In the meantime inside Sidon's house. Fianna, in the privacy of their house, gave her husband a night long thank you. When morning came, they heard a whimper, Fianna jumped to her feet and took to her bosom the bundle with the baby inside.
"He woke up! What do we give him to eat?"
She exclaimed.
"Meat?"
Sidon half asleep groaned.
"You lazy bear, Billy's wife gave me some goat milk because I told them I wanted to try and make some cheese for you, bring me that."

Fianna smiled.
"But I like goat cheese."
Sidon sat up and said.
"But you like your wife happy even more, right?"
Fianna's smile didn't disappear but her eyes were cold now.
Sidon jumped on his feet and started running to the cold room, while his wife hopped around and cooed at the baby.
"Ohh yes, he's a big guy but he would do anything for his woman, I made sure so! Find a good woman, Little Wolf."
Fianna's face light up with the biggest smile she made in years.

The Legend of Fanaura: Cursed
'Hey, need some help there?' An unfamiliar voice echoed through her mind, and she startled, losing her grip on the red phial. It rolled through the grass, away from her. "Oh shoot!" she yelped, and her focus diverted from her opponent for a split second, but it was enough to prove fatal. The beast took advantage of her distraction and lunged towards her. She tried to back away, but in her haste, she stumbled and fell. She looked at the beast, inches away from her, and shut her eyes in fear. She raised her arms to cover her head, even if she knew it was futile. Yet seconds passed, and no pain came. Then she heard the beast let out a pained yelp. She opened her eyes to the familiar sounds of battle before her. A tall man stood before her, locked in battle with the beast. He wielded a sword as long as his height, yet it didn't seem to hinder him in the slightest. She watched in awe as he swung the obviously heavy sword around as if it were light as a feather. His movements were swift and precise, and it didn't take long before the beast fell to the ground, motionless. “You alright there, miss?” The man sheathed his sword across his back, before turning to her. Her eyes widened when she heard his voice. It was the same voice who had that had spoken into her mind and the cause of her almost-fatal distraction. "You...!" she hissed.***She was the chosen one to end the war between the Goddesses when they were supposed to take care of the world balance. Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)
