《The Coin of Fate》Chapter 1 Into the woods

"Once upon a time...no no no that's for another book.
Lets see...In the beginning... no that's not correct either...
Earlier than the beginning... yeah that's better.
Earlier than the beginning there was only Fate and It was BORED,
so Fate did the only thing It could do and used its ability:
Fate can manipulate the future until what it desires happens, the downside is that it can't control how the future will be shaped.
After a while... or a lot of whiles, I dont know, I wasn't there...
the Plane of Creation was born! Whoo ho!"

"The real beginning of what we know"
In the middle of the Hardwood forest, a group of three was on their usual patrol route.
"These hunters! And Sidon is the worst of them! He's the First Hunter so what? He killed a bear alone, wow he's so good!"
Todd of the scouts said.
"Well killing a bear alone is not a small feat, none of us could do that, I think not even a kingsguard of Arthus could. He's the best hunter and warrior we ever had."
Brielle the head scout answered him.
"So what? From the last Snow, what have the hunters got? I will tell you what they got! They got one bear, two boars, four deers and ten wolves! It's almost time for the Heat to come, we got herbs and mushroms for everyone and eighty new hares for the pens! Hares reproduce fast! We are the one feeding the village, we and the fishers! Hunters pff!"
Todd said.
"Oh stop it you old grumbler, hunters aren't needed to feed the village, not anymore at least, they are needed to defend the village and get some nice pelts to sell, every one of us has a job and we need to do it well, so shut up and get scouting."

Brielle said.
"Err guys, I don't really wanna interrupt but, am I the only one that hears this strange whining noise?"
Micah, the new scout recruit joined the two veterans and timidly asked.
And then there was a flash of light, a strong and hot air wall threw the scouts up in the air and down to the ground hard. While the scouts got their bearing, Todd, the first to get on his feet saw, Sidon dash in the direction of the light.
"Fuck!"
Todd exclaimed and started running behind the First Hunter.
When he joined Sidon, he found himself near a circular zone with scorched wood and blazing earth.
A charred corpse of what seemed like a giant wolf was in the middle of the circle, the heat inside the circle was so high that Todd felt it hard to breathe and his body refused to go forward. But it didn't seem to affect Sidon as he was marching to the wolf's body, the First Hunter knelt and seemed to rip off something from the head.
When the hunter got up, the scout could see that Sidon held something in his arms, it appeared to be a baby?
