Chapter 7: Unforeseen Tournament Contest
It ended with a tie.
The shock could not be contained.
Everyone watching let out multiple awes and shock sounds. They have never seen a battle like this. But it was even more shocking for the person that Tymol was fighting was Mitchiel.
Everyone that was watching wondered about one thing. Since when did Mitchiel learn to dodge like that?
This was the first time anyone had seen this side to Mitchiel. In their memory, he was always a disgusting freeloader, but now, after witnessing this fight, their opinion of him have changed.
They no longer saw him as this disgusting bug, but now as someone that could possibly have some kind of talent or merit.
They immediately proceeded to lift his body up. Of course they didn’t forget about their number one pride and joy, Tymol.
Everyone helped carried the two young man to their respective households, the children that were running around previously went ahead to the two fighter’s household to tell them the news.
One household was shocked for a moment, got their wits back to themselves and went to find medicine to use in a hurry. The other household was also shocked, but not in the same manner as the other.
While the other was in shocked and happiness at the same time, this particular household was in complete disbelief. They were all wondering one thing. How did that happen? How could their son have lost to that stupid brat-what’s-his-name-trashy-something-hiel-whatever-his-name-is.
The older brother of Tymol as well as the father and mother and some of the other pupils left their mansion and made their way to where the battle took place. They, of course, carried medicine.
They were sure that whatever happened could not have been what happened.
-----------------------------------
The other household on the other hand, the family members were out of town, therefore only the butlers and maids were there.

After being noticed of the battle, one of the butlers stayed at the mansion, he wrote something in a piece of paper, and made some hand seals.
Right after doing the hand seals, a bird appeared, and the butler [the same one that caught Mitchiel and Sylvia hugging each other in the kitchen] gave the bird the letter. The bird flew as fast as it could in the air.
The other butler and the three maids rushed to where the battle happened. They saw their young master, Mitchiel-sama being carried by the people of the neighborhood to them. They thanked them and did not hesitate for a moment to give him medicine.
They put three pills of medicine inside Mitchiel’s mouth and made him swallow it, albeit unconscious.
------------------------------------------
The same happened to Tymol, though instead of the maids putting the medicine pills in his mouth, the disciples did.
The two households looked at each other with scorn. They were never in the best relationships but this was just too much this time.
Both houses were competitors.
Mitchiel’s house was not proficient with making great wizards and martial artists, but they did produce some.
While, Tymol’s house is the best when it comes to producing martial artists, but not at all with wizards. And they are also working on creating a business market.
So even though the two different household hold some similarities, they never got along. They passively disliked each other.
They always thought the other was after their disciples, or their business. And even though, both houses never harmed the other or took disciples of each other, or stole each other’s businesses, suspicions still lied.
With one family member from each side gravely injured like this, things will not remain so silent. Even though, both houses ignored the fact that Tymol was bullying Mitchiel every once in a while a week, they never disputed over the fact.

They had some sort of unspoken understanding.
As long as our sons never really get injured or die, we will keep a blind eye. But now, with multiple blood vessels broken and the [Lightning Piercing Strike Attack]’s other aspect revealed to outsiders, and the fact that the battle ended with a tie, that agreement just went down the rubble.
Both houses will not let this slide.
One house will have smiles and celebrate tonight, the other will have sullen expressions and gloom.
----------------------
With the Young Adult Martial Arts Competition for this year drawing nearer and nearer, the houses will send their most powerful and brightest to participate. And with Tymol’s brother having to go on a business trip on that date, the Gyphos Clan was counting on Tymol to bring them more honor.
But with the situation as it is, they need to make a plan or their son’s reputation will plummet. To save their son, they decided on a course of action.
They will force the other household to send Mitchiel to the YAMAC or else, the household will have to deny their son [Mitchiel]’s tie against Tymol.
This was a direct attack at Mitchiel’s household’s honor.
On one hand, they would want to celebrate the fact that Mitchiel got a tie in a fight with Tymol (someone so much stronger than him, someone that even managed to get nineteenth place in the YAMAC).
But on the other hand, they also don’t know whether or not Mitchiel’s tie was a fluke or luck, or some sort of paranormal miracle that only happens once in an entire lifetime.
This was the situation left to Mitchiel’s household. Deny the fact that Mitchiel got a tie against Tymol or embarrass themselves even more by sending Mitchiel as one of their representatives in the YAMAC.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

Now that I have my time back, It's just no longer fun to write this story. I won't remove any content for those still curious (a lot of my readers had told me I was doing a good job), but it's not likely I am going to add anything either. Thank you for the adventure that writing this story for you has become. I have read every comment and review and still come back to them. It has been wonderful to see all of you supporting me on this journey.

There was a girl whose feelings changed the world around her, and with every step little smoke clouds emanated from her feet. Her soul pulled right out of her chest like a long, blue comet with a tail, and swirled around her body like a protective blue flame. When she walked in a tight space the very metal itself around her melted and shifted so that she was walking in a cage of blue light, a cage of her own devising. 8 226The Wild Touch
The world of Delmathar has many conflicts and plots that span over the whole world and even into the war torn oceans. That’s not even taking into account that the world is a candidate in the Realm wars… but that’s a story for another day. Instead we will follow the story of how a goddess’s botched attempt of using a weak earth soul to make powerful Grafter for her mother, ends up empowering an unsuspecting little boy. The boy who is called Nosal Brownwhisker, who happens to be a peaceful little buttonless-shirt loving little Capyban. And as the Brownwhisker family tries to juggle their everyday lives on their monster ranch and hiding little Nosal’s secret, more and more developments keep popping up in the village of Pancreedy that makes life more.. interesting. Author’s notes:This is my first fiction and I understand it will suck. Hopefully you will find it to be enjoyable enough to hang around. There’s not going to be any epic world-ending fights or any stuff like that, just some shenanigans generally with the story progressing very slowly as it changes from many viewpoints. The world of Delmathar may seem funky for now so I will promise a glossary every 15 chapters. The wild touch will be updated at least twice a week, with me having no backlog of chapters. So if I get mobbed at work or get sick I will let you know in my notes on a short chapter. I hope you enjoy, and thank you for the people who support me, give me encouragement and pointers.
