Rubeoso unfreezes the rest of the world, not before pushing Blue Jay over of course.

Everyone starts moving again and Blue Jay is confused, "Hunh? Did I trip? Unless... No, he has no mana, I definetly tripped." Teresa gets back on the mic, "What's this?! It appears that Blue Jay has tripped!" Blue Jay gets back up, "Alright Rubeoso, maybe I didn't give you enough credit, maybe I will have to fight this like a normal battle." Blue Jay then turns his back on Rubeoso and looks at the crowd. What's he doing? Blue Jay begins yelling at the crowd, "Fine people of this town! Lend me your strength to overtake this challnge!" Mind Communication : Activated. Hey Lucas. Hunh? Mr. Rubeoso? Yeah, it's me. Anyway I wanted to ask you something. Uhhh s-sure what is it? What is he doing, asking the crowd for support? Don't you know? In a proper fight, contestants can ask the viewers to use buff skills on them. What? That doesn't seem fair. So this whole fighting system is just a popularity concert? I guess, its been like this for decades. You just can't de-buff the opponent, thats the only rule. Alright, thanks Lucas. No problem Mr. Rubeoso. Teresa speaks up again, "Alright, has everyone buffed who they want to? Then let the fight begin!" Rubeoso even feels a slight boost in both strength and speed. Who could have- He looks up at Lucas and Lucas gives a big thumbs up back. Rubeoso smiles before turning back to the battle at hand. Blue Jay turns back towards Rubeoso, "I can't believe I had to do all this for someone like you, but it's over now." Rubeoso can definetly tell that Blue Jay got a lot stronger, But not even close to Rubeoso. "Here I come!" Blue Jay sprints, sword in hand. He moves significantly faster then before, and he quickly reaches Rubeoso, however instead of just swinging down, he quickly, so fast in fact it looks like he teleporting, gets behind Rubeoso, "Hah! I got you!" "No you don't." Rubeoso raises his arm faster then humanly imaginably and slams his elbow down on Blue Jay's head. *BOOM* Blue Jay is absolutely flattened down into the ground, completely knocked out. Teresa is flabbergasted, "What is this?! It appears that somehow, someway, the no mana challenger has beaten Blue Jay, I don't know what kind of fluke Rubeoso abused, but there is no way he actually beat Blue Jay." The crowd boos at Rubeoso, all except one person, "Great job Mr. Rubeoso! I knew you could do it!" Rubeoso looks up at Lucas and smiles. Lucas then runs on down to Rubeoso. "Wow! You did so good! How did you move so fast, you gotta teach me!" "Heh, I'll think about it." Tereasa hops off the announcers podium and leads Rubeoso and Lucas back into the guild hall. Teresa sits back at the front desk, "Ok, Mr. Rubeoso, due to an exceptionally weak mana power, but an impressive battle prowess, I am awarding you with B-tier." Rubeoso looks over at Lucas, "Lucas, what rank are you?" "Oh, I'm pretty weak, only a D-tier. But Gramps is an A-tier!" "Ah, I see. Alright, well let's get going." "Yup, let's go." Lucas and Rubeoso leave the guild hall. "Alright Mr. Rubeoso, let's get going back to the Inn!" "Hey, Lucas, how would someone become king?" "Hunh? Where's that coming from?" "I just want to know." "Well, you would have to win the King Tournament." "Hmm, ok, and when is that." "Well, luckily for you, it's only in 3 years." "Ok. How does one join it?" "You need to get in through representing a King Academy." "Ah, so that's what Teresa was talking about." "Yeah, and each King Academy has a tournament of themselves to see who will appear in the King Tournament." "I see, and when can we get into our local King Academy?" "I think Gramps told me Entrance exams are tomorrow." "Wow, ok that's some great timing." I should be able to attend, even though I'm over 100 years old, I still have the appearance of a 21 year old. "Yup! Anyway, why are you asking me this?" "Because I'm gonna make you king." ........ "Alright Lucas, because we don't know what kind of test the entrance exam, we need to start preparing you." Lucas and Rubeoso were out in the forest where they had previously fought the orc, also right next to Rubeoso's old cave. "Are we gonna fight some monsters out here?"

"No." "What?" "Of course we're killing monsters." "A-ah, I see." Rubeoso points through some trees, "Do you see those wolves." "Yeah." "Alright go kill them." "What?! I can't do that, those are B-tier monsters." "Alright well then do as much as you can to them, I can save you, so don't worry." "O-ok." Lucas applies a speed and strength buff, he then sends a blind de-buff towards the wolf. However blindness isn't too effective against wolves, since they have great senses of hearing and smell. Lucas is aware of this, but he doesn't currently have any deafen debuffs. "Here we go." Lucas sprints in with increased speed, just as he reaches the wolf, Lucas drops his sword, with a loud clang it lands on the floor. The wolf immediately sprints toward where the sword dropped and bites hard. However he bites nothing, Lucas is already behind the wolf and pulls out a small dagger from his coat, and stabs the wolf in the neck. The wolf recoils quickly and pulls back, Lucas puts his dagger back into his pocket, "Yup, that's all I could do. I'd be doomed if I continued fighting." The wolf sprints in and bites down on Lucas, before the bite connects Rubeoso teleports Lucas out of the fight. "Phew, thanks Rubeoso." "Not bad kid." The wolf growls at Rubeoso for stealing his prey. Rubeoso looks straight into the Wolf' eyes, "Leave." The wolf scurries off. "Alright Lucas, I think that's enough for today, we need to rest for the exam tomorrow."
