“The cage can only hold him for 5 seconds,hit him with everything you got”

They all understood how much of a threat the orc lord was,if he broke free he could really take their lives.

“Our lives depend on this fight,do not hold back”

At his words everyone lunched their strongest attacks,Adam and Harley were hitting the orc lord from up close while Maria was throwing every explosive and spell at him,but nothing seemed to be working

“Ughh,what is that”

“DIE WEAKLINGS,BECOME NOURISHMENT FOR MY SPIRIT”

The orc lord’s eyes went dark and his body was now coated with an evil looking black liquid that absorbed every magic/physical attack that was thrown at him.

5 seconds were about to pass and the cage would soon disappear,Zecharis was forced to act and not hold back any longer.

“Dark viper transformation “

He let out a scream that looked like it came from the very depths of his soul.

His eyes went yellow and he eventually started making a hissing sound,his head turned into that of a giant snake and his body followed.

Zecharis used his spirit transformation to turn himself into a 10 metre long black snake,it really was a sight to behold!

After feeling the pressure that the snake was emitting the orc lord’s spirit decided to strengthen his defences.

Knowing that he could only maintain transformation for only 10 seconds,Zecharis went around the already caged orc lord and tried to tighten his body around his,and when the red cage disappeared he tried strangling him.

“DESPICABLE,I CANT BREATHE “

Black smoke started oozing out of the orc lord and its power looked threatening.

Zecharis was now left with no choice so he released poison smoke from his mouth fully knowing that it might get absorbed by the orc’s evil inner spirit.

“Cherry crescent”

Dante hit the orc’s neck with his skill and bombarded his body with dark flames and black lightning without any regard for Zechari’s safety,if a fireball was enough to bring him down while on snake transformation than he doesn’t deserve to live....thats what Dante thought ,weak men will only drag the team down, he only needed strong people to survive.

Crescent shaped attacks and black lightning managed to take the orc’s life,but he still needed to make sure the monster was dead so he thrusted his sword deeply inside his guts,dark blood started coming out and he got the notification:

“You have killed a lord rank monster,as the first awakener to defeat an over 20 levelled creature you are awarded with 5000 cosmic coins and 2 random skills books”

“We need to take out the fire before it burns the whole building “

Maria used her water wave spell in order to take down the flames but because it was a low level spell it took a lot of effort from her.

Zecharis,Adam and Harley were recovering from all the damage that they took while Dante was waiting for the orc’s corpse to dissipate and pick up the drops.

“So it was a rank B,no wonder we could not take the guy down,had he fully integrated with this spirit we would have become orc food....have you guys sorted out the fire yet?”

He put everything in his inventory and turned to see what looked like a structure made out of wood and charcoal standing ,the only reason that building had not crumbled yet was the system,it probably took the damage that could be dealt into consideration and added some protective measures on dungeons.

“Looks like it can hold out for a few more minutes,lets go inside and check”

Dante kicked the door open and went in only followed by Adam,the rest of the team received orders to go and pick up Golger and find out whats the government up to.

The first floor was completely destroyed and nothing of value could be found,so was the second floor however the 3 floor looked completely untouched by the flames or any of the attacks that they had thrown during the fight.

Dante pushed the door open and went in,trails of blood were found all over the room and corpses on the verge of dissipating were locked inside cages.

There were orcs elves humans lizardmen and goblins but they looked much weaker than normal ones,their vitality had been sucked out of them and dark particles were left on the cages that were slowly melting.

As soon as Dante saw it the void fiend inner spirit came out of the inventory on it’s own and sucked dry all the already dying monsters.

“This thing is too scary,but its also too powerful...master why dont you merge with this spirit?”

“It is true that it would make me stronger but i got better plans for it”

Three wood elven women kneeled in fear inside the cage,they had no names and their stats were weak,their loyalty was at 60 just like Golger and the others.

The prettiest of the bunch was the first to pack up the courage and speak

“Master,the treasure chest is inside that small room”

Dante thanked her and told Adam to get them out of the cages,he then entered the small room and opened the treasure chest.

Inside the chest were 2 skill books,2000 cosmic coins 2 blue prints and a small bottle holding 5 pills .
