《Devour》Chapter 10: And you are?

Jio tracks the person he saw hiding, and when he has enough distance from the girl, Jio shouts and demands her to stop, "STOP! Do you know something about the rampaging beast?"
She looked at him angrily and said, "You dare question me like it's my fault, human."
"I have a name... could you at least enlighten me on what happened in the auction, or I'll use force so start talking," Jio let out as the mask his wearing starts to melt like lava in his face moving inside his shirt to his hand and inside the ring.
"So it's you again!" The beautiful Gecko girl that Jio meet before let out.
A clear crystal slime-like goo starts to float on top of her forming a crown, and for some reason, Jio's soul weapon "Jon" starts to move inside the ring and come out of the ring like a solid black and a half meter slime.
"Jon? Did you name your soul weapon? That's cute... But, kill him!" The Gecko said like his commanding Jon
Jon morphs into a small wolf (it's a puppy) and charges towards Jio. Still, as soon as it touches his skin, Jio felt that he regain control of Jon's and realize that they have this "Mysterious Connection" after the drop of blood inside the cave.
"I see... The second core of the King slime..." The Gecko sadly remarks. She regrets giving the second core to Jio and continues, "If you want answers... Follow me to the heart of the forest to find the answer you are looking for!"
"Guess, I'll trust my life again on luck! If you say so, I want to know everything about the incident," Jio relies on the offer as he looks back and realizes he doesn't know the way back if something goes wrong.

Jio follows the Gecko for three days and two nights with small breaks and sets a camp every night without talking to each other. Jio also noticed that they never encounter any beast, not even once. He also notices that they're not in human territory anymore as the beautiful Gecko stops making Jio ask her a question, "Where are we now, and what's your name if you dont mind?"
"I'm Jio De Vil," Jio introduces himself first, but the Gecko only looks at him and continues to walk until she stops in front of a tree.
She smiles at him and walks towards a strange-looking tree in front of her as she disappears. Astonished by what Jio saw, he becomes curious but calm at the same time as he walks towards the tree and disappears.
*Back Home*
"Pa! Peanut doesn't love us any more! *start crying* he didn't call for four days!" Mrs. De Vil starts to cry for no reason.
"Jio still loves us! Remember, in three weeks, it's the ranking month, and he might be preparing for the competition!" Mr. De Vil said as he tries to calm his wife down.
"But *sobbing* but he could at least told us about it," Mrs. De Vil protests as she takes a tissue to blow her nose.
Mr. De Vil sign and look at his wife helplessly and said, "Why don't we visit Jio during the ranking month?"
Mrs. De Vil's eyes flicker after hearing what her husband said like "It's all according to plan."

"Does anyone know where Jio is?" Ms. Remy ask the class
"Miss Remy, I thought he's one of the students that..." Some said in the class
"I see... Anyways, I expect everyone to practice and prepare for the ranking month," Ms. Remy let out, thinking about how to tell the De Vil family about Jio.

Mickey knows that the person they cannot recognize is not Jio since the dead person is not wearing the school uniform, and he saw Jio wear the demon mask for some reason he doesn't understand. He then thought, "Who the hell is that person? Is he even my friend?"
Students that help out in the auction incident during the beast's rampage are rewarded with hell points and anything they need to get stronger for their bravery.
*Back to Jio*
As soon as Jio enters, he saw houses everywhere, and when he looks up, he saw treehouses and appreciates the beauty of the place.
"Where are we?" Jio asks the girl
"This place is nom-nom City, one of my stops, but right now we need to talk to the elders, who know the answer, or they might just kill you," The beautiful Gecko let out like she's joking.
Jio didn't know what to do, but knowing the truth might help him in the future, and it's too late to go back out now since everyone is looking at him walk.
Three humanoid-looking monsters sit inside the tent and look like they expect him to come today while their eyes close.
"State your name," A green-scaled Elder on the left said.
"Jio De Vil," Jio let out.
"What do you seek?" The elder on the right with dragon wings asks.
"Answers," Jio said.
"Are you ready to die, and what do you offer to preserve your life?" The elder in the middle with majestic antlers asks.
Jio activates his eye and notices lighting and wind magic in the elder's horns and said, "No, I'm not ready to die and for the offer... I don't have anything to offer, but I only have my silence to offer," Jio answers without hesitation.
The elder's skin in the left start to glow, the elder's wing in the right start to blaze on fire and the elder in the middle open his eyes then the elders' spirit slowly separate to their body and merge creating a five-meter long dragon spirit flying on top of the elders. Jio is dumbfounding and realizes that this five-meter-long dragon charges toward him and enters his mind.
The girl was surprised that they didn't kill Jio but instead puts him on a trail that would help him greatly.
The Human and Monster race relation is neutral and will do anything to preserve this peace.
