《Devour》Chapter 9: Death's Mark

While everyone tries to escape, Jio puts the mask on while changing his voice, deep and intimidating thanks to the structure within the mask. Jon separates into two and morphs to a circular meter-long shield on the left hand to protect his body from flying debris, and the other half covers his right arm for emergencies. He knows that he was no match fighting the beast alone and doesn't know how capable the other students are, but he can help the rest escape the building instead of fighting.
The beast charges again while everything flies, and a girl with a warhammer (Crystal maiden's Warhammer) hits the rampaging beast's body and sent it flying into the wall covered in ice. Any magician with courage who volunteers to fight uses ice magic to quickly cover the beast on solid ice even further, giving enough time for the rest to escape.
*I could help, but Ma told me not to get too much attention... Guess I'll wait* Jio thought as he runs towards a student under the table.
"Get up! It's too dangerous! Get out!" Jio shouts to a fellow student on the floor and helps him stand up as he points to the exit.
The girl with a warhammer inspects the ice and expects it to break in five minutes, enough time for the teachers to arrive. Little did she knows about the power of the beast's forehead tattoo; the ice starts to shows a sign of breaking before she even noticed the cracks and explodes, shooting all ice fragments everywhere. The tattoo glows brighter, and the beast's eyes start to bleed like it's crying as it roars, ready to wreak havoc once again.
Mickey immediately uses his soul necklace as soon as the beast destroyed the stage. With his necklace, electricity surrounds his body while making cracking sounds and causes his movement to increase. The necklace can control electricity and allows him to save as many students as he can with his super unnatural speed since he can control who gets hurt with his power. Those who witness his power thought that he has the power of the lighting God.

Dino and Kiba do the same thing and tries to save as many students as they can. When the beast frees itself from the ice, Dino and Kiba join the fight.
"WE HAVE TWO OPTIONS! WE HOLD THE BEAST TILL THE TEACHERS GET HERE OR KILL THE BEAST IF WE CAN!" Jio shouts with his deep voice getting all the attention. He now has the trust of the Hell School students' aptitude.
Kiba's bracelet with a sword keychain grows until it looks like a greatsword, while Dino takes his battle-ax out. The beast starts to charge, but the students cast earth magic and ice magic to slow it down. The tattoo glows brighter and unknown energy explodes around the beast's body, causing rocks and ices shards to fly everywhere. Jio uses his shields to block most of the flying debris, minimizing its damage to the group.
Kiba jumps towards the beast while his greatsword grows until it reaches twice in size, while the weight increases in proportion to the size. (Soul weapon abilities: Weight and size) Kiba tries to hit the beast's neck, but it's so agile that Kiba only cuts one of the three horns instead of the neck.
The beast kicks back and hits Kiba on the face passing out as his body flew to the other side of the room. Dino tries to cut the beast's armor skin because he knew how hard it is since the tribe hunts this beast before, but his battle-ax didn't go through the skin this time. Instead, he gets headbutt by the beast to one of the pillars and passes out. The girl didn't surrender even after witnessing his fellow students fall. Instead, she hit the monster's body again, causing it to build up ice around the beast's body and hit it again until it fully gets frozen in ice.

"Look, it's Miss Remy and Mr. Johnson," Someone shouts.
"We are saved!" Everyone rejoices but saw the beast broken free once more.
"Everyone, get out of the building!" Ms. Remy shouts, looking in admiration at the girl catching her breath.
Ms. Remy takes out her twin swords as her body produces flames while Mr. Johnson supports her with fire magic, making the fire stronger.
Mickey already evacuates Kiba, Dino, and the girl right after the beast breaks out of the ice. Ms. Remy also starts attacking the monster while Mr. Johnson supported her in battle. She easily cuts the beast's armor body thanks to the heat coming from her twin swords, and when Ms. Remy combines the twin sword into one, making a greatsword, she finally finishes the fight and cuts the beast in half with one stroke.
Jio notices a figure behind the trees outside the building during the fight and immediately leaves as soon as it sees Jio looking at it. He tracks this person, asking himself that person might know something about today's incident.
