In this alternative Earth, the world has been united, neither by war nor diplomacy but the Economy. People realized by bounding them with their own basic desires, they could united as one.

The currency has become one, known as "Coin". “Coin” was nothing but a name. In this era, everything one need to payment was a card and the value of one card indicated by numbers which calculate based on currency ratio of former nations before the “united day”, a Super-computer located in an influence neutral nation has given the task and distributed all the coins to people all over the world. The coins could be generated or erased from the system based on records of productions of each region in the World… Since currency ratio between countries no longer exist, Nations military power and influent only means for safeguard and no longer affects the economy of that region anymore. As a result, the number of large scale wars had decreased. The fierce competitions between companies from regions helped goods distributed equally to the world in a reasonable price, made the scarcity of goods over the world disappeared.

The World has become a better place and all people have to think of was how to improve their life’s quality

Information technology was connecting this world together. No matter where you were in this world, as long as Information technology existed in there, you were connected to the ocean of information all over the world. You could see a family member in the other side of the world with your smartphone. You were able to be in touch with any information in any other place in the world as long as Information technology exists in there.

Medical technology made us live a long and better life. Advance medical technology prevented many diseases and so human life could be extended. A normal flu or fever no longer was able to kill us. Even cancers could be cured if you cure it soon enough.

There would be people out there saying how could government easy gave up their control over power like that but the truth was no matter how strong a nation is, they can’t start a war without money; they could not even armed themselves without money; they couldn’t live without food and obviously, food brought with money too… For some reason, people in this world realize by stopping the flow of money in military aspects, they could stop the war itself. By united the world’s currency they could unite the world itself. This world became a place where people don’t need to fight for a piece of land but to make the land exist themselves.

Without the greed of the safety, we would never be united in the ancient era, fought against other species and become the specie that is dominating this planet. Without the greed of safety, our weapons would not advance and we would only be one of the lowest in the food chains. Without the greed of safety, we would not stand together; Society and Nations would not have formed in the first place. Without the greed of better living conditions, we would forever be like other animals, hunting or collecting for living. There would be no improvements. There would be no building, clothes, books or electricity. Food cultures and Art would have never existed. Without the greed to live on, to keep ourselves alive, medical technology would never be advanced and we could die with just a light fever…

If greed was a sin, then to live was also a sin

The VR technology was one of those values made by human greed and ambition. Since people always want to have new experience but afraid of losing what we already have. Because we are all greedy!
