Chapter 6 Escaping Capture
Babe was aggressively perturbed by how disrespectful the FPD was treating her companion, Nigel. “You bastard! Take your foot off of him!”
“Hold it! Hold it! You’re not in any position to be giving me any orders little lady.” Officer Hizen had a sinister grin as he spoke. “Fh-hahaha. You better settle down unless you want this pilot’s head to be occupied by bullet holes instead of a brain.”
“What do you want from us?”
Hearing the rebel’s ludicrous question, officer Hizen replied: “Stop acting foolish! You know full well what I want.” Saying this, he aimed his gun at her.
Scanning the situation, Babe whispered silently to Selene who was abreast her. “When I give you the signal, wake Nigel up and help him into the aircraft.”
“But how can I get by so many officers? Not to mention that he is still pinned underneath that man’s foot.”
“I have a plan to deal with them. Trust me, I’ve already made my move. Three? No, four.” She was counting the number of officers she needed to take out.
“Huh?” Selene noticed an inconspicuous trail of vaporous peach oozing from Babe’s buttocks heading underground through a small crack. ‘I guess I should put my fate in her for now.’ Selene responded to Babe secretly. “Alright, I’ll play along with your demands.”
“Hm?” Officer Hizen noticed the criminals’ lips moving but no sounded words. “What are you two blabbering about over there? You better not be cooking up some sort of plan to escape your destined fate. Cause let me tell you, it Ill behoves you to try.”
“Of course not. We wouldn’t dare disobey such hunk of a man. We were just considering in what order we should give our bodies over to you and surrender.” Babe responded with a seductive tone and parts of her cleavage exposed. Hoping that her allure would soften the FPD hearts to the point where they would let down their solid guard.

“Enough playing around, rebel scum!” Officer Hizen’s shout frightened the other officers who had succumbed to the rebel’s charms. “Your petty seductive tactics will never work against me!”
“I wonder about that…” [Boom!] Without notice, a large trail of peach popped out of the ground behind Hizen and exploded.
“How…?” Before he could utter another word, the blast sent Hizen and his men tumbling on the floor.
“Selene now!” [Whoosh!] Babe used this opportunity to instruct Selene and dashed towards the conscious officers.
[Dash! Dash!] Selene quickly made her way over to the pilot lying on the floor. ”Hey! Wake up! Wake up!” [Slap! Slap!]
“Hah?” Nigel felt a stinging pain on his cheek which prompted him to shot open his eyes in astonishment. “Wha-what? What happened? The last thing I remember was… That’s right! The FPD! Babe I have to warn her!”
“You’re too late. See for yourself.” Following Selene’s instructions, Nigel saw that Babe was already combating the officers who managed to subdue him. “Can you move?” Selene helped him up and began moving towards the aircraft. “We have to hurry.”
[Bam! Bam!] An officer realized Babe gunning towards him and lashed out with his pistol. [Bam!] “Hiuk! Stay away from me!”
“Peach Riot!” [Blow! Blow! Blow!] Multiple series of vaporous peach streaked over a small distance and impacted the scared officer. He was dealt with very quickly. Meanwhile, Selene along with Nigel was getting closer to the aircraft.
“I won’t let you!” At that moment, officer Hizen sprung up from the ground, quickly reached for his gun and aimed at the pilot who was being carried away by Selene. “Die!”
“Peach Blossom!” [Boom!] Babe stamped the ground violently with her ass. The generated effect caused a massive vibration which shook the pistol out of Hizen’s grasp. [Bam!] The bullet he fired missed his intended target by a millimetre.

“You filthy rebel!” Hizen switched his target to the Fahtier rebel. He separated his belt from his waist. It extended to the length of whip that he used to lash at Babe’s ankle. [Whoosh!] The tip of his whip clamped around her leg, dragging her on the ground. [Boom!]
“Babe!” Nigel spotted her predicament and called out in alarm.
“I’m fine! Get going. Hurry and start up the aircra….” [Whoosh!] “Ahhh!”
Officer Hizen dragged Babe over to him. The rough way how he did it caused parts of her sexy posterior to be scraped off. “Ya haha! Don’t pretend rebel scum! You’re in pain and you know it!” Hizen lifted her by the leg. “Get over here!”
“Babe!” Nigel wanted to turn back and helped his lady friend, however, he was stopped by Selene.
“You can’t! She told you to get the aircraft ready for take-off. Trust in her abilities. That girl can take care of herself.” Though she said these encouraging words, Selene only wanted to prevent Nigel from wasting time so that she could save her own skin before FPD reinforcement showed up.
“A-alright.” Nigel complied and went into the aircraft’s cockpit. The door was already opened, thus he entered swiftly.
Selene followed inside to the passenger’s area. She didn’t sit down right away but glanced outside, checking on Babe’s safety. “Will she be okay? That manly officer seems powerful.”
“Yaahhh!” [Bam! Bam!] Officer Hizen was feeding Babe’s slender tummy with heavy punches. He cared not whether she was female. He treated all criminals with equal brutality. “Taste some more you farting scum!” [Bam! Bam!]
[Puke!] “Barf!” Because of the heavy blows to her stomach, Babe spat out some tainted liquid on Hizen’s thick arms.
“Yuk! Gross! How dare you spit on me!” [Bam! Bam!] Officer Hizen was just about to punch Babe’s face again when suddenly, he felt a pressuring sensation between his crotch. [Boom!] “Kyaah! You bitch! How dare you harass a man’s family jewels? You’ll pay for this!”
[Thud!] Hizen was forced to unhand Babe due to the stinging pain in his ball sack. [Boom! Boom! Boom!] Babe tripled the gonad dosage which forced him to writhe in pain on the ground. [Puu!] She spat at his detestable countenance and said:
“That is what you get for disrespecting me. I hope you can never get any woman pregnant in the future.”
“Babe! Come on! We gotta move!” Nigel waved to Babe from inside the cockpit. The aircraft was already lifting off and more officers were crowding Nevox rooftop.
“I’m on my way!” Babe ran as fast as she could into the aircraft. After settling in properly, Nigel hovered the aircraft away from the FPD’s reach.
Looking down at the helipad, Selene realized a large troop of officers. “We were lucky to levitate when we did. Otherwise, we would have been completely overrun.”
“That was a close call back there.” Babe eased back into her seat and placed her feet up on the dashboard.
“Hey, sit properly when you are cruising in my lady!” Nigel scolded Babe; removed her feet from his dashboard.
“You’re no fun at all you know that?” Saying this, Babe fiddled with Nigel’s earlobes.
“Stop distracting me, I’m trying to focus here.”
“What’s the worry? Soon we will be outside the FPD’s airspace.”
‘Outside the FPD’s airspace?’ Selene overheard their conversation and asked them where they were taking her.
“Not to worry. We’re taking you somewhere safe.”
“Somewhere safe?” Selene was still apprehensive even though she had escaped the FPD’s grasp. And I don’t blame her. After all, her world was turned upside down so abruptly. It was easy to relate to her disquieting feelings.

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.
