《The villain and his grim angels》prologue part four

"Were you the one that called for me?" I asked the scrapped number 07 sekirei Akitsu as I leaned onto my own sekirei for support. She has short, light brown hair and her face was kept in a blank, depressed expression. She was currently loosely dressed in an unbuttoned shirt showing her cleavage and a lab coat drenched in blood.
"... call?" She gave me a confused stare in response to my question. Did that mean she wasn't the one? But what was this weird feeling within my chest then, the same feeling that I felt within my dream a moment ago. The feeling that wouldn't let me leave her alone as if someone kept pushing me forward from behind.
"Shirou if your trying to wing her then don't bother she can't be winged hence the term 'scrapped.'" Karasuba explained to me as she pointed towards the scrapped number 07 sekirei Akitsu forehead, a crimson coloured crest which consisted of a bird with an angel wing and underneath it was the yin and yang symbol with large commas beside the symbol.
"See that, that's the sekirei crest and it would only appear on the nape of the sekirei's neck when they have been winged by an ashikabi." She pushed her hair aside to show me her own crest the proof of our covenant.
"But as you could see despite having no ashikabi she is already winged, so there is no point to sparing her Shirou." Karasuba said with a slight tinge of dissatisfaction in her voice as I interrupted her fun.
"... Karasuba just wait." I have to disagree with her there as I could think of multiple ways of having another sekirei could be useful, however there is some truth in her words as ultimately she isn't mine and therefore could be a liability.
"... I had a dream recently, a dream about a never ending landscape of ice and snow but more importantly it was a dream about someone calling for help."
"..." She didn't say anything but for a split second I saw a look of disbelief on her face before returning back to her neutral expression.
"In the end I managed to find the person but I was waking up causing me to slowly fade away." The next line would determine her future if she was the figure from my dream then... I would become her ashikabi.

"Don't worry I'm here, your not alone." I pulled out Sakura's checkered scarf and showed it to her with a soft smile on my face.
"!" I see so she was the one judging from her response to the line.
"But... I'm broken... and can't be winged..." She spoke in broken sentences as her face turned to one filled with sadness and despair.
"... Akitsu as your originally intended destined partner, your ashikabi do you trust me?" Without waiting for her response I gestured towards Karasuba to move closer towards Akitsu as I leaned onto her for support.
"But.. I.. can't.." Akitsu voice became softer and softer as the feeling of despair threatened to consume her. I wasn't a sekirei but I knew that feeling before having experienced it many times over and if I wanted to save her then...
"Akitsu look at me." She was so wrapped up in her grief she didn't notice us slowly moving towards her, a fatal mistake had we been enemies.
"...I" She tried to repeat her sentence but I cut her off as that would only lead to a never-ending spiral with no way out. I wiped her tears from her eyes before continuing.
"That doesn't matter to me at all, as we could still have a connection together without having to be winged but if you truly wish to have a bond with me then." I leaned in towards her face, our lips nearly touching as I continued onwards.
"Trust me." Under normal circumstances I wouldn't attempt this but I had a feeling that things would work out as if someone was looking out for me.
"Trace on." I conjured an image of a gun cocking and firing. I delved within my soul to activate a single magical circuit, converting a small amount of od from my diminished supply.
I pressed my lips onto hers, I manoeuvred my tongue deep within her mouth as I attempted to emulate an adult's kiss while creating a contract between us with what little prana I had. Taking the lead despite having little to no experience, my tongue clumsily intertwining with hers in slow motion as I attempted to stimulate her erogenous zones, our saliva mixing together during the process.

For a couple of seconds all was silent, the only sounds that could be heard was me making out with Akitsu as our kiss intensified while Karasuba just watched us with a bemused expression on her face.
It wasn't enough I didn't have enough prana to complete the contract. Just when I was going to cancel the attempt a warm light appeared and completed the contract.
My lips parting from hers in slow motion as a thin line of saliva could be seen when we separated.
"See Akitsu your not alone anymore." I said softly, my vision slowly fading away as I pushed myself too far, but before all went dark I managed to see the result of my attempt. On the nape of her neck was a symbol shaped like a long sword with a star shaped guard.
"Shirou you truly are an enigma." Karasuba murmured to herself as she witnessed an impossible sight, her ashikabi being able to wing an unwingable sekirei through a simple kiss.
"Yume is that the power of fate? or is this the power of Shirou Emiya." She thought to herself as she saw the marking on the nape of Akitsu's neck, it wasn't a sekirei crest but something else, something unnatural. Yet something about it felt familiar as if she saw it before.
"... Master... I could feel... your warmth... inside of me." Tears slowly poured out from her eyelids running down her face in a stream as she was no longer broken and alone. Her dense ice was slowly starting to thaw.
"I... am.. your sekirei." Akitsu held onto her ashikabi with all of her might as if she was afraid that he would vanish like before, as if he was just a phantasm that didn't exist.
"..." Shirou was motionless as he lost conscious, his body slowly heating up from his small usage of his one magical circuit.
"I guess that means your my fellow sekirei, a shame I really wanted to fight against a single number." Karasuba said with disappointment in her voice as she haven't fought someone of Akitsu strength in a long time.
"...Karasuba the black sekirei... Master's first sekirei." Akitsu said with mixed feelings as she gripped onto Shirou's limp body.
"Well its time to head back to the hospital, Akitsu give me Shirou." Karasuba walked over to her fellow sekirei with outstretched arms.
"...Help master." For a second Akitsu considered refusing but eventually she handed Shirou over to Karasuba before silently following the pair from behind. On full alert she noticed the fallen checkered scarf and wrapped it around her neck before continuing to follow and guard her ashikabi.
"Interesting. Very interesting. I never expected this outcome, to be able to wing an unwingable sekirei through a simple kiss. But could that even be called winging as her sekirei crest is still on her forehead." Minaka murmured to himself as he pondered this problem, the reaction that occurred when Shirou kissed Akitsu was certainly the result of one being winged but the crimson crest on her forehead said otherwise.
"Hmm lets take a look at the nape of her neck then." Manipulating the system controls Minaka manoeuvred the security cameras and drones to focus on back of Akitsu neck. An image of a symbol shaped as a long sword with a star shaped guard appeared on the screen.
"... I wonder what would you think about this Takehito. Or would you call it fate?" Minaka continued to manipulate the controls as he contemplated the symbol. He has never seen something like this before, it wasn't in the Kouten database or MBI's.
"... Shirou just who are you." In front of Minaka was multiple screens that showed numerous folders containing vast amount of information about MBI, the sekirei plan, potential ashikabis, medical knowledge and so on.
With more typing the screens narrowed down to a single folder named Shirou Emiya. Despite MBI's power and influence it was rather sparse containing little to no information aside from the medical analysis done on his body, all the records stated that Shirou was a normal human with ashikabi properties.

Nowhere to Run
Nina is a young priestess that just started her journeys in the Highlands, in a faraway land. But everything falls apart when greater forces are scheming and unknown men are suddenly after her. She will have no choice but to resort to her wits, make unexpected allies, and navigate her way through unforgiving lands in order to survive. Will she be up to the task? Greetings, reader! First of all, thank you for taking an interest and read my story. This is a story I've been working through all my life. But since I'm a first-time writer, I wanted to start with something small. This is just a small part of something much greater that hopefully one day I'll be able to translate into words as well. I will try to make it interesting as possible but please bear with me. Please understand that English is not my native language, I worked really hard to write in English the best I could. So please if you find any typos and grammar errors let me know. I'll try to upload new chapters as soon as I can. Although I had originally planned to deliver a chapter a MONTH, I think the real estimate would be a chapter EVERY 3 MONTHS since I also have to earn the daily bread. Cover picture made by me. The background picture is from Google but I modified it enough from the original. The story is also available on Wattpad, Inkitt, Scribblehub, and Webnovel.
