《World Integration》Chapter 11: The System Store

Albert Lee was looking at his laptop screen intensely when he unexpectedly notices a metallic sheen reflecting in the corners of his eye. It was in Samir Sahid's live video call box out of his five friends.

So when he took a closer look at the metallic object that Samir Sahid was holding within his hand.

He was then able to immediately identify the metallic object within his friend's hand. It was a handgun, a 9mm magnum revolver to be exact.

"Samir! Since when did you get your hands on a proper handgun? An unlicensed firearm..."Albert Lee said so raising his voice in alarm, which certainly manages to alert the others within the live video chat group that Samir Sahid may have an unlicensed firearm in possession.

Damien Blake was then immediately surprised, like any other person within the chat group. " You managed to somehow acquire an unlicensed firearm. How is that possible, Samir?"

The others started firing questions at him, one after another, asking him where he got the unlicensed firearm and how he got it.

"Where did you get that unlicensed firearm?" Gerald Quinn said so over the live video group call.

Damien Blake then intervenes and said. "I thought that guns were guns illegal within the UK. So how did you managed to get yourself an illegal unlicensed firearm anyways? Did you perhaps smuggled it in from America, or bought it from the Blackmarket for a large sum of money."

Samir Sahid then immediately responded, as he shot down some of Damien Blake's enquiry saying that it was beyond ridiculous considering it's him that we are talking about.

"What, no! There's no that I could have possibly bought this firearm from the so-called Blackmarket, as I don't even know where that place is. Or have any people with connections to that scary place." He said so, whilst finding their jokes to be extremely funny and pretty laughable.

"I bought the unlicensed firearm from the system store. So why don't you go and check it out?" Samir Sahid said so in a laughing manner, whilst giving some simple instructions on how to access the system store.

"Don't you need to have system points in order to buy stuff within the system store?" Albert Lee then asks an important question, which manages to garner everyone's attention.

He then said, "Usually in an RPG game, don't you earn points or money from killing monsters and looting off from their corpses. So how did you managed to garner enough points to buy a handgun Samir?"

Albert Lee asked an important question which strikes to the main point of the argument, with which everyone certainly agrees with his point of view to a certain extent.

"Yeah, it has not been that long since the Ragnarok event has started, and there's no way that such a feeble person like Samir can kill a large number of monsters in such a short amount of time in order to garner enough system points to buy a handgun from the system store." Damien Blake interjected, which certainly manages to deal a lethal blow to Samir's own ego and self-confidence.

"Way to go and damage my own ego and self-confidence." Samir Sahid said so over the live video group call, as he then lamented over self-doubt, with his confidence steadily being destroyed by those who he calls his friend.

And Albert Lee then interjected within the conversation and said, "Even though he is not that strong or physically fit. He is still quite tall, doesn't that still account for something."

"Being tall doesn't necessarily account for anything, and that was back in high school. By now we would have at least catch up to each other, unlike a little pipsqueak of ours that hasn't grown an inch ever since he left high school." Gerald Quinn said, as then proceeded to insult Albert Lee's height.

"Alright, then. Enough with the dissing at each other. So let get right back on track." Damien Blame said so over the live video group call.

He then asks Samir Sahid exactly, "How did you garner enough system points in order to buy a handgun from the system store."

"Why don't you opened up your phone, and then you immediately find out." Samir Sahid said so with a slight smile plastered on his face, which he doesn't seem to hide his eagerness.

"What do you mean, Samir?" Gerald Quinn responded over the live video call with a perplexed look.

Albert Lee then abides by Samir Sahid's simple instructions and went over to get his smartphone. Thankfully, his smartphone didn't fall off from the desktop table and be cracked on the floor, as this is because the floor is cover in a dark carpet which would dampen the fall if the smartphone ever falls off of the table.

And when Albert Lee went to touch his phone. There was a sudden jolt of electricity, passing by through his body and into his smartphone.

His smartphone then immediately switches on to the lock screen, as foreign software is then downloaded from an unknown server, which certainly manages to catch Albert Lee's interest.

Ding!

The sounds of the notification screen as a blue screen panel then appears in front of him. And simply seems to be synchronising with his smartphone.

It didn't take long for Albert Lee's smartphone to have downloaded all of those said apps from the Universal System.

And once the three apps were completely installed onto his smartphone, he then immediately unlocks his smartphone without a second of thought, and quickly went to the apps collection interface.

He quickly swipes through the page of apps on his smartphone, until it was the last page on his phone screen. The last page showed the most recently downloaded apps, which is the {System Store}{Online Auction}{Friends} app.

The {System Stote} allows the user to buy any item, equipment, food, or object that is legally registered within the Universal System. It contains everything that mankind has accumulated up till this point in time in human history, whilst at the time, adding additional items, skill, and information from different other class systems.

For a {Cultivator} of the Ancient Path class system, they can easily buy medicine, cultivation pills, magical herbs in order to help build up their cultivation base.

Whilst, at the same time, spirit techniques, martial art manuals, and cultivation techniques can be bought from the {System Store}. Alongside magical treasures and spirit weapons for a hefty sum of system points in exchange.

On the other hand, the {Mechanic} class of the Futuristic Path class system can purchase knowledge, skills and techniques to help foster their own growth.

The {Mechanic} class can build high tech armour suits, implemented with modern-day or futuristic sci-fi weapons. Whilst, some can build armies of advanced a.i robots and large mecha, but they burn money extremely fast.

So Albert Lee then decided to open up the {System Store} the first time in his life, to see what it has in store for him.

He then taps on the {System Store} icon, which has the image of a simplified silhouette of a mall in the background, with the label 'System Store' in the front in big bold white text. So that any idiot can easily identify the {System Store} icon to differentiate from the other apps, unless the user is blind, then something else would be implemented in place to guide the user.
