The {System Store} application on his smartphone then opens up, as a wide variety of options for purchasable items, equipment, or skills that layout in a neatly arrange blue table right before him.
And then there is a search bar right underneath at the bottom of the screen for a more specific target search.

Afterwards, Albert Lee then contemplated to himself, thinking clearly about what he is gonna get from the {System Store}.
'So what am I gonna get from the {System Store} in exchange for some system points.' He thought so to himself, as he then scrolls down the list of options.
A thought then crossed his mind. 'Whenever people talk about going into a fight that you should properly arm yourself, with either firearms or close handed weapons like axes and baseball bats. A good offence is the best defence they said.'
'However, not once have they properly mention wearing protective armour. Well, not many things can essentially block a modern-day bullet fired from a handgun.' He thought to himself.
'Wearing a metal armour can essentially deflect the bullet, but the extra weights would undoubtedly slow you down, and greatly impaired your chances of escape and land manoeuvrability.' He thought.
'That's right. There is kevlar armour, not only is it extremely light but it can block bullets to a certain extent. And if I were to combine with a few plated metal in the future, it can serve to block knives and protect against blades to a certain extent.' Albert Lee thought so to himself.
He then proceeded to enter the keyword kevlar armour into the search bar, at the bottom of the screen, as numerous selection of kevlar armour ranging from low price to highly expensive ones then showed up.
Albert Lee bought a {Troy Lee Designs 7855 Ultra Protective Body Armour Long Sleeve} for roughly 190 system points, which is equivalent to roughly around 190 us dollars in real life.
The versatile pocket design with removable protection pieces for more comfortable customisation.
Ding!
The sounds of the notification screen and a blue screen panel then appear in front of him.

In addition, he also bought a {Revolver Python 357 Magnum Pistol} for 95 system points. And also a box of 50 bullet rounds for 12.5 system points, thereby giving a total of 107.5 system points.

After the purchase was done and the transaction of system points in exchange for certain items from the {System Store} was completed. It was done automatically by the Universal System, without the need for human interference or any assistance from others.
Light particles then began to rapidly spew out from his smartphone, greatly alarming him, but nevertheless, he still held on tightly to his smartphone and never letting go.
"What the..." And just before he could even finish his sentence, there were some noticeable changes amongst the particles of light
The abundance of light particles that were released off from his smartphone, it lasted a couple of milliseconds, before it suddenly underwent an unbelievable transformation.
All of the dense light particles within the room gradually began to congregate together, until it completely forms three solid entities.
And out from one of the three entities that were made of light particles was the {Troy Lee Designs 7855 Ultra Protective Body Armour Long Sleeve}, then a {Revolver Python 358 Magnum Pistol} and finally, a box containing 50 rounds of {.44 Magnum Bullets}.
"Anyways, so what did you bought from the {System Store}?" Damien Blake then asked over the live video group chat what the others bight.
Dave Rost then responded over the live video group call. "I've bought myself a pump-action shotgun, some gun ammo, and a couple of semi-automatic assault rifles."
"I've bought the same things as Dave as well." Gerald Quinn answered over the live video group call.
Seeing the stark difference in wealth and power between himself and his friends, Albert Lee then felt a bit dispirited and sighs internally.
He then asks the two, "So how many system points did you spend buying things from the {System Store}?"

"Well, I'm not quite sure, but the price was well over a thousand system points." Gerald Quinn nonchalantly responded.
"So what did you buy?" Dave Rost then asks Albert Lee about what he bought.
Albert Lee then immediately responded to Gerald Quinn's enquiry. "I've bought myself a bulletproof kevlar armour, a handgun and some ammo."
Dave Rost was slightly surprised as he then said. "Why are you being such a cheapskate during these dire times, Albert? You need to be heavily armed with firearms if you want to protect yourself and those people that you hold dear from monsters, and those that want to harm you and your family."
"He is right you know." Gerald Quinn said so over the live video group call, thereby agreeing with Dave Rost's point of view.
And Damien Blake then immediately intervenes in the two conversations and refuted Dave Rost's statement. "I didn't buy anything from the system, as it would definitely be a waste of system points to spend it all on buying unused weapons."
Dave Rost was slightly dejected and said, "What do you mean, Damien? That it is a waste of system points."
"I am an esper with the supernatural ability to control and manipulate fire at my beck and call. Kind of like the Human Torch from the Fantastic Four and Heatblast from Ben 10 to a certain extent." Damien Blake nonchalantly said over the live video group call, as he then sets his right hand ablaze, like how the Human Torch set his body on fire.
The tip of his five fingers started to emit wisps of black smoke, before outright bursting into flames and becoming five sets of separate candles.
The heat that permeates from in between his right palm starts to increase drastically, as the skin colour on his palm started to turn bright orange, due to extremely hot temperatures, much like the colours of ember sparks and natural fire.
The heat that is released off from Damien Blake's fire is enough to partially distort the image that surrounds his hand.
This is because the heat of Damien Blake's flame alters the properties of the matters in the air in which light is propagating through, and those changes cause the light to refract slightly, thereby changing the image that is conveyed to your eyes by visible light slightly.
"And during these time were going outside would be a literal death sentence. If you were to have suddenly run out of food. You might as well starve to death because you would not stand a chance of facing those monsters outside." Damien Blake said so in a serious tone of voice.
"It's not fair that you guys have supernatural powers and we don't." Dave Rost then complains, and Gerald Quinn hurriedly agrees with him.
And then a thought curiously passes through his head. 'Wait a minute! Aren't their classes are {Warrior}s. So shouldn't they be using swords instead of guns?'
Albert Lee then responded, "Aren't you guys' class are {Warrior}s who specialises in using a sword instead of modern-day guns."
"Well, yeah. But, if it weren't for my brother tricking me into choosing the chivalrous path, then I wouldn't have gotten the {Warrior}s class." Dave Rost then complains.
"Well, for me. I picked the chivalrous path on a whim because I liked watching 'Game of Thrones.' I didn't really know how useful the other classes are. So I now regret my past decisions." Gerald Quinn said so with a deep sigh of regret.
"Don't be so downhearted, I'm sure you've guys played alot of video games right. The {Warrior} class is always quite popular to newcomers, I'm sure there are some advantages to the {Warrior} class but you have yet to discover them yet." Albert Lee said so over the live video group call.
And once the argument has died down, and everyone then turned to look in Samir Sahid's direction. Expecting his own opinion over the matter.
"Well, the {Mechanic} class isn't really that bad as you guys' first thought. It has the potential to be limitless with its designing feature of being able to utilise modern-day machinery to build advanced technology and high tech weaponry." Samir Sahid said so over the live video group call, giving them a wide concept and idea of what the {Mechanic} class is capable of.
"Thinks like giant fighting robots, mechas, plasma weapons, and flying spaceships are not things of fiction anymore. As they have the potential and concept to become a proofed reality once the mechanic class has advanced far enough for it become a proven reality." Samir Sahid said so over the live video group call excitedly.
He also said, "And as a byproduct of the {Mechanic} class. I can control the magnetic force to a certain extent."

The Great Erectus and Faun
The Great Erectus, otherwise known as "The Big Guy" is NOT a god. Don't call him that. It will tick him off. He and his newfound apprentice/sidekick the definitely not a creation goddess Faun have a little problem. The Big Guy's universe is blowing up. Faun might have had something to do with that. (She feels awful about it BTW) They must rush about the unraveling universe saving (or judging) worlds as the end of all things is bearing down upon them at the speed of light, so they have a bit of time but really can't mess about. Along the way they will encounter Lovecraftian horrors, divine ex-girlfriends, surly AI's and a host of other hassles. Enjoy such delights as the complete destruction of the universe, a children's "Christmas pageant" except where "the greatest story ever told" involves an eldritch horror from another universe, and an innocent misunderstanding concerning the exact definition of a "red dwarf". Existential dread! Lovecraftian comedy! It's as much madness as can be shoved into a single work and still remotely make sense! If you enjoy completely off the hook lunacy, this one is for you!

8 226The Universe In My Mind
Ever since Jason Reven became aware of the world around him, he had a whole universe in his mind. It was incredible and he was always interested in it, until one day he tried something even he thought was crazy and it shockingly worked. I will also be posting this story on a few other sites like scribblehub under the same name.

My name is Carlos Drake and I've been summoned to another world...along with my three friends Jake, Roland and Lucas, we are aiming to become the greatest heroes in the world! 8 105A New Beginning
Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. So, the only solution in the minds of humanity is to dominate and subjugate the unknown variable until it no longer has even the potential to be a threat. They choose to pretend that the unknown variable is lesser, that humanity is superior on no other grounds than that it's humanity. Danny had been stuck with the G.I.W for years when the Young Justice team rescued him. Broken, beaten, and none the wiser of the greater majority of humans, the humans with kindness in their eyes and light in their souls. He's been trapped in the darkness of greed and fear and violence for far too long, and what's left behind is a fractured mind and a trained weapon. Buried underneath that, however, is a young child who is scared and confused, a child that hasn't seen the light of day in years. That child never expected to see the bright side to existence, to see the light shine in the souls of the righteous. That all changed with one group of heroes, and one family of Bats.Cover doesn't belong to me.Cross-published on two other sites*Undergoing heavy editing, nothing plot-wise is changing, I am only editing grammar, mechanics, vocabulary, sentence variation, and formatting and overall I am just making it a more pleasant and refined read :) I am also deleting the A/Ns at the beginning and end of each chapter
