The sight of a bright red ball bouncing along the sidewalk as two children played in the bright baking heat of summer could be seen. A group of parents, sitting on benches enjoying the sweet release of ice cream whilst catching up on how each family was doing. A mother, gently caressing a small bundle of cloth with a baby inside, thinking about what new clothes to buy her newborn daughter. A blue sky, white clouds, in a dazzling park, a truly perfect summer day.

A gentle breeze tickled the newborns face as it pushed the parks trees, leaves, and people. The wind had pushed a little too hard, making the kickball bounce away from the park onto a nearby road, nobody saw this except for the two children, the first child went over to the road to pick up the bright red ball. As he slowly approached the ball, it had already gone from the side of the road to the middle of road, he picked the ball off of the black road and showed it too his friend, letting them know the ball was not hurt in any way. He began to strut back towards the park his chest full of pride from getting the ball out of the street, before hearing a very loud noise. The child dropped the ball as it rolled to the saftey of the park to look at what the noise was and why it kept on getting louder, and louder. Once the child looked up, all he could see was a bright light, then, a darkness that had swallowed him whole.
