《The Iridis Experiment》Chapter 2. Caged

All Elliot could hear were screams and shouts of blurred sound, Bright globs of lights constantly racing through a melted vision, and once again, darkness.
Elliot's eyes flashed open as he lay upon a snow-white bed, with flowers on the right side of him sitting on a white bedside table. Elliot felt panic, waking up in a place he didnt know, so he tried to shout for his parents but all that would come out would be a garbled noise. His throat would begin to throb and burn whenever he called out to them in this alien voice. He looked to his side to see his arms on both sides of him, with his fingers curled halfway into a fist, but, there was something strange about his hands, they felt as though they werent his, he tried to move his arms, but they wouldnt move, so he tried to move his legs, his toes, his feet. All of them wouldnt move as they stood frozen in awkward positions. The only things he could really move were his eyes. A woman with white attire barged into the room, and looked at Elliot with eyes as though she was looking at lost puppy, Elliot tried to call out to her, but it hurt him even more. Elliot got mad at this, he felt trapped, caged, and he needed to get out. In an act of desperation, he started shaking on the bed, Screaming, shouting, no matter how hard it hurt him, trying to get off of the bed and walk on his own two feet. The woman ran out of the room in a panic and returned with three other people, one other woman and two men, one with glasses and the other with a red tie. They carried a large machine with a mask and lowered it onto Elliot's face. He felt the mask and the gas coming from it choking him, so screamed louder, struggling as hard as he could to get off of the bed and run away from this, and run into his mothers loving embrace. His struggles began to soften as the room around Elliot began to get more and more hazy, with everything becoming a blur of colors.

After a couple of days, Elliot understood most of the boundaries of his body, and that he could move, but it would take up almost all of his energy to even move even a finger. When he was finally able to see his parents, only his father came, his mother was too busy taking care of Elliots little sister so she couldnt come. His father looked at him with eyes of sorrow, crying when he looked at his face. When the doctor talked to his father, all he could overhear were the words brain damage and spine Elliot was confused to what this meant, and all he wanted to do was come home. After a few more days, Elliot was allowed to go back to his house, but not before his father had to load heavy machines into their family car. Elliot was lifted up into the car, and his seatbelt was put on him, but not before getting caught on his arm, which Elliot couldnt move out of the way. Once the door was shut, his father climbed into the front seat and started to drive back to their home.

The Plant Dungeon
I wrote this a while ago at my website. It is a mix of cultivation/dungeon with a few LitRPG themes, but not enough to justify the tag. I am migrating it here, so I don't have to keep paying WordPress for the site. I will continue writing this. So... Now for the synopsis. Follow the life of an unusual adventurer who got turned into a dungeon. Well... that was short. I guess I would just suggest reading the first few chapters to see how you like it. (remember, if enough people ask for it, I will continue writing it.) I have no Idea who owns the picture I used for the cover. If you want it down PM me and I'll take it down.

In a city of darkness and murder, the greatest danger is found in the mind.Alany hasn’t tracked anyone since the war, but when his lover goes missing, old skills are all he can trust. With no other leads, he is forced to contact a mysterious network of telepathic magi, and risk his sanity for hope. When the mind is no longer sanctuary, and even memories can be bartered, is there still power in love? The first book of a new series in Edward Eidolon’s Fae Mythos. A note from the Author: PLEASE leave a review and alert me of any plot holes, weak portions, and anything else. I am in desperate need of beta readers and feedback. I wrote this around the new year, 2020. It's about 40k words and the first in a planned series that follows Gar "Alany" Darron and his agency of detectives as they track missing persons in the city of Throne. I have the sequel planned but not written. Once this one is completely uploaded, I'll be uploading another, unrelated series that as of right now is roughly 160k words long, and somewhere in there, I'll write the sequel to Frame of Mind. I plan to go back and forth between the two series for the foreseeable future. Thanks for reading.
