You decide to approach the man (roll18), who decides to indulge you seeing as he finished his repairs on the Servitor. Turns out they aren't just working, they also seem to praise some God with their efforts making even the hardest of work more like a ritual than anything else. Tech-priests as Saniel calls his peers have the duty and privilege to care of every Machine Spirit in the whole of Strabell. You decide to ask if you would be allowed to make the checkup (roll15), to which he agrees as he doesn't want to draw the ire of your Parents who had at this point already a reputation of spoiling their daughter.

Saniel (POV)
'I really don't know what to think of this, why did I let her do this again, letting a 3 Year old find 58 Flaws in my work is just crushing.' 'All Self-respect gone because of her Mother glaring at me, really. Well now that glare is replaced with the stare of the Magos,' sigh 'it isn't like I'm blind or something the girl is everything but normal that doesn't lessen the feeling of failure trough.' sigh
Minora (POV)
'Poor Saniel, that wasn't what I wanted at all!'
'He really doesn't seem in the mood to repair the Servitor any further, I guess if I point a finger at the problem I should repair it myself.'

After 5 Hours your work is done with the polishing of the golden glowing augmentations of the now healthy looking Servitor. Just to be pulled into the arms of your Mother to practically interrogate you about what just happened.

The biggest part of your Year was spent siting around and being essentially grounded, while various to you unfamiliar tests were being made. After these tests took place several times each Month until the Year came to an end, it was finally over with the diagnosis being made it was confirmed that you are indeed no Psyker. Not that you cared anymore, seeing as you were playing literally everywhere you were told not to go just to defeat the boredom.

MERTICORE
Meet Ian. Ian is an IT consultant who accepted a supposedly impossible job for an incredible amount of money. However, he quickly learns why his colleagues avoided that gig like the plague. Ian now hates his job, and wants to be fired to get severance pay. However, things don’t go as planned when he downloads MERTICORE, a mysterious program that popped out of nowhere. After that, the life of Ian has changed drastically. Gone are the days of drinking bad coffee while staring at a screen. His days are now filled with magic, fighting weird creatures and even weirder people. Let’s not even mention the comrades he collects along the way, which are more often than not worse than the (numerous) enemies he makes as he bumbles through alternate dimensions. There’s also a disturbing number of laundromats for some reason. Release Schedule: One or two long(2.5k+ words) chapters per week, maybe more depending on real life.
8 143The Harrowbird's Crown
(Formerly: Tales of a Harrowed House) Synopsis: This is the tale of an exiled royal family who, after their bloody reunion on the island of Providence, return to a war-torn homeland where once more, powerful forces pit sibling against sibling in a bid for the crown — and once more, the magical streets of Auctor echo their infamous motto: “Fire will Reign as Harrowbirds Soar!” From his humble beginnings as a shoemaker’s son, his year spent as a daringly brazen orphan caught between rivaling Houses and a mad ghost, and his fight for the crown after his return to Auctor, Corbyn faces a coming-of-age story unlike any before him as he discovers magic and birthright are two things he never knew he had. From the intimate narrative of a childhood that was never her own, her year spent struggling to find the person she is rather than the person her family needs her to be, the secrets she hides, and the truths she finds, Halle discovers herself on the fabled island of Providence as her House collapses around her, bids to enter a legendary school of magic in her homeland of Auctor, and fights for a crown she never knew she wanted. A high-action, character-focused story written with a poet’s styling, The Harrowbird’s Crown is a tale that will transport readers into the conflict and conquest of a royal family back on the rise. General Information: This story is more traditionally plotted. While the beginning may seem to start out slowly, when shit hits the fan: the action is constant, the mysteries are satisfying, and the character development is rewarding. Chapters are usually between 2.5-3.5 thousand words (though some, like the first and second chapters, can run up to 5k words). When it’s long it means that the chapter will just have that much content in it. There’s Action, Mystery, Fantasy, Comedy, and some Psychological undertakings. Romance hasn’t come up yet, but it may in future chapters. I try to have chapters out every Sunday at 7:00 CST Book One: The Ghost of Providence
