A Tale of Two Worlds ii : Cursed Wheel

Chapter x.5 : Girl with Goggles

"Where the fuck did it go?!" Yeng said, a blue lightsaber in hand.

"How should I know?" Albert, reloading his handgun with the bullets that I made from Dragon Crystals. So basically, it can kill anything now.

I let out a huge sigh. "It's just a werewolf. Geez." I scratched the back of my head.

"Just a werewolf, huh?" The werewolf said as it jumped from my back, about to tear me to shreds with its sharp claws.

"Yeah. A simple minded one." I said as raised my hand and use a levitation spell. "And such a creature like you should die beautifully."

.....

...

.

I used the same spell on the blood on his veins to the cold coffee that Albert left unattended, making his eyes explode and vomit blood

"The cat's in the bag, mister." Albert laughed at his own joke as Yeng looked at him with disgust. "I mean... werewolf... anyways, we're cashing in." He smiled.

"Lord Albert, here's your coffee." I winked at him.

"Thank you." He said.

"Hurry up. I need to know what happens next to Anakin!" Yeng said, irritated.

We were hunting everything that comes across our way to Osniton since gold doesn't grow on trees. Well, I could just turn stones into gold if I wanted to. But Yeng doesn't work that way. Even if I said it, she'd just hunt them anyways.

After taking the 10 gold pieces, we went to the nearest inn to rest.

"Man, these elf girls looks beautiful." Lord Albert said as he placed his backpack and dufflebag on the floor. "Like, damn. Especially the dark elves. So damn hot!"

"That's racism." Yeng said, taking off her coat. "Let me watch what's next. We're on episode three now, right? I want to see Anakin!"

"My tablet's battery is low. And from the looks of it, the sun won't be up for some time. So I can't charge it."

"Charge....?"

"Yes. Like us humans, the tablet needs to eat too."

"Make a miniature sun, Loraine." Yeng said as she touched my shoulders.

"You have it." I said as I sighed, placing my backpack on the desk.

"Thanks." She said, smiling to the small ball of lava with flames.

"Just don't get mad at me when the inn burns, okay?"

And with that, I left the room. I need some fresh air. And new clothes. All these 'hunting' is tiring. I need to replenish my mana. Maybe a hot bath later would do.

"Wait, Loraine!" It was Albert, running towards me.

"What is it, Lord Albert?" I smiled.

"Can I come with you?"

"Why?"

"I watched Star Wars Episode 3 tons of times." He smiled.

"It's a date, then." I held his hand. It was warm. Unlike mine.

I could not feel the cold. Only warmth. I hate the heat. Especially in summer. But my fireballs are different in a reason that even I don't know. Somehow, I suddenly remembered why Haldren killed all the dragons back then. Because of the one he loved was a witch. And only the dragon's flame could kill witches. So he killed them all. But after that, he was cursed. To live forever. The Dragon Slayers were the name of his band. And up to this day, the Dragon Slayers remains. Some says that Haldren was killed when Lorice took Osniton. But just how can you kill an immortal?

"This skirt would look nice to you." Albert said, lifting a white skirt in the air.

"Nice eye, my good sir!" The elf merchant said. "It is made of-"

"Address Lord Albert casually again and you'll meet the same fate as the werewolf that I killed last night."

"What's your problem, little girl?"

"I'm already one thousand eight hundred thirty two years old, kid." I said as I touched his hand. And it burned.

The merchant screamed in agony. "Who's the little girl again and who am I with?" I grinned.

...

.

"You're really that old? One thousand eight hundred what?" Albert said as he bit his sandwich.

"Nah." I sipped my coffee as I looked outside the window. The view in Elfenskye is indeed breathtaking. The coffee shops on a hundred year-old trees that makes you see the sky is just.... amazing. "I'm three thousand and one. I wan't to cheat my age sometimes." I smiled.

"Witches have long life span... huh?"

"We are basically gods. But, yeah. Kinda human. Which is why my race is hunted. That's why I have to pretend that I'm a fourteen year old half elf."

"It's kinda sad, really." He sipped his tea as he looked on the window. The setting sun can be seen above the clouds.

"What is?"

"I like how your hair how it originally was. White, gray and black."

I snapped my fingers and my long dark hair turned short. Showing my 1/2 witch, 1/4 elf and 1/4 human hair. I smiled at him.

"That's better." Lord Albert said, leaning towards me. Closed eyes and his lips about to meet mine.

......

...

.

"No!!! ANAKIN! DON'T DO IT!!!!! DON'T GO TO THE DARK SIDE!!!!!!" It was Yeng, screaming at the tablet as if Anakin Skywalker could hear her.

I let out a sigh as I walked towards the bathroom. I saw my reflection in the mirror. Ugh, I look so messed up.

After washing my face, I went outside and went to the store that I dreamed about. The same merchant, same skirt. Except that Lord Albert was with Yeng, watching people inside a small piece of glass. Then to the same coffee shop. This time, I drank tea instead. There was no sunset as snow started to fell from the sky. That was when I decided to go back to the inn.

"You look good in that skirt, Loraine."

"You honor me, my Lord." I blushed probably.

"Where's our next destination?" Yeng said, wearing her violet coat.

"North of Vaxus. A forest there."

"What's in there?" She asked.

"A blue haired knight and his dragon." I said.
