《Cultivation Bug Fuyo》Chapter 23 - Milky White Profound Veins

"I... have no idea how."
He scanned his body again, from his head to his toes and it was true. His Profound Veins were no longer colorless; they were a pure milky white. This was a complete metamorphosis from before, it means he could refine 20% of the energy he ate and absorbed. His future cultivation would be much faster and it would benefit him greatly.
"It's one miracle after another with you, I've never heard of anyone's profound veins leveling up outside of their birthright ceremony and your coming of age ceremony. This can only be good news, we should celebrate!" She jumped out of her chair as hundreds of thoughts flew through her head.
"We should have a celebration tomorrow with meat, music and alcohol; it's the only true way to celebrate!" Fuyo said, this was how he celebrated in his past life. He didn't celebrate much but when he did he always had a good time. Good food, good music and great alcohol.
"Meat, music and alcohol? For one what is alcohol and two... Bee's don't eat meat, three I can't sing. Can you?"
"If there is no alcohol then we will have to make some. Although, they could take some time and it doesn't matter if you can sing or not, what matters is the feeling that music brings and what, we don't, why wouldn't we? That means we are missing out on the succulent taste of fried meat cooked to perfection. It's such a shame..."
"Fried meat?"
"Yes, you can't tell me that you've never heard of fried meat right?"
She shook her head, she had never heard of such things.
"You take the meat and you fry it? In a frying pan? How else would you eat meat."
"Uh... I've never had meat before but I would guess exactly how the beast eat it. Dripping with blood, guts and gore, it's the only way I've seen things eat meat. Bee's like us only eat drink nectar."
"No, no, no, no... That's not how you eat meat, only some meat is good raw, but the best meat is cooked in a special way. Nectar is nothing in comparison to the heavenly gift of meat. Is there anywhere I can buy some meat to cook?"

Tuzai shook her head, "No, but the relic masters might have some. They capture and kill beast but they only use their bones to make cultivation relics and the rest is thrown away."
"Thrown away? How dare they!"
The following day they set out early in the morning and made their way up town, they wore their brand new clothes that Tuzai stitched together last night. She had never knitted before but with the excess money lying around she developed a new hobby. One had to say she was shockingly talented, anything she felt like doing she could do. These new clothes she made were made of cheap material, but under her hand they began to sparkle. They seemed like a Prince and Princess walking down the street. The Bone Pavilion was a high class establishment, they couldn't tarnish their reputation by looking mediocre.
They slowly made their way to the Bone Relic refinement center.
"Bone relics? What are they?"
"Bone relics are just like their name suggest. They are relics made from bones; they contain massive amounts of energy. Many times' more energy than spirit stones and they can be absorbed easily. But they are quite pricey. It is one of two great professions of Bee Country. First is Alchemy, Alchemist make potions and pills. Second is Relic Masters, they turn beast bones into bone relics. There are also World Spiritualist but our village only has one so it's not considered a great profession since he wont teach anyone. He can lay down powerful defensive formations, the formations can ward off attacks or gather a higher quantity of spirit qi." She moved her hands around as she explained.
Fuyo was quite surprised, he didn't think things like that existed. It's definitely something he had to look into in the future.
It was quite a long walk from their shack, they were walking for 9 hours straight. Fuyo didn't expect it to take so long. He was fed up but they continued down the path, he ate random blots of energy and broke through to the first level of qi again. Finally they arrived.
It was a massive pavilion, six stories high and made of marble. On the pillars were various symbols and signs, he couldn't understand them but it must have something to do with magic. It gave the entire place an unearthly feeling. It was a grand building that signified wealth, fame and power.

Three of the four great desires.
"This world is very vast; it will take a long time to learn about all its odds and ends."
They walked up the steps on their way inside but they were stopped by the guards. The guards held out their spears blocking the entrance, the guard on the left raised his hand and calmly said.
"Entry fee is 1 gold."
"1 gold? Just to look around? Outrageous!"
"1 gold or leave."
Fuyo signaled to Tuzai to calm down, and then he pulled out a gold coin and held it out to the guard.
"It's 1 gold per person." The guard smiled in contempt, he was obviously looking down on them.
Fuyo noticed his facial expression change, they weren't larva, they were adult bees so their facial expressions were many times easier to discern.
"You got greedy; at first I was letting you save face. But you dare act arrogant in front of me? How about I tell the Elder about you trying to extort the Lords son in front of the Bone Relic Pavilion? Let me tell you, even if you begged for your life I wouldn't spare it."
The guards were startled by Fuyo's outburst, the pressure he emitted was no less than that of a King. They realized they had made a mistake, "Oh please young lord, I'm sorry. We didn't recognize your grace. Please young lord forgive us. Here, take it. It's everything we have. Please spare our lives."
They pulled off two bags from their side belt and gave it to Fuyo. Fuyo didn't take it from them right away and first thought about it. Meanwhile Tuzai had no idea what was going on, his father wasn't a Lord or anything? Or was he... She didn't know what to think anymore.
"Because this is your first offence I can let it slide, as for your bags I don't need them but I will take them and donate them to charity in your stead. Consider yourself warned." He picked up the bags from their hands and made his way into the pavilion with Tuzai by his side.
After they got a good distance away from the door Tuzai asked very quietly in a timid voice.
"W..what happened?"
Fuyo couldn't take it anymore and burst out laughing.
"I bluffed them, I took a guess that there wasn't a real fee to enter the Pavilion and it paid off." He smiled as he patted the two bags in his hands.
"It paid off? But what if they find out and what about those? What charity are you going to give them to?"
"And you said I ask a lot of questions?" He laughed some more and rubbed the two bags in his hand.
"How would they be able to find out? How many Lords are there in Bee Country? How many sons do they have? Our own Lord has more than 120 children. They won't find out, and charity? Hah! These are spoils of war. No way am I giving them over to charity."
He snuffed his nose up in pride and then went on his merry way.
He sent his spiritual sense into the bag and found thousands of spirit stones, weapons, herbs, pills, potions, books and various other things. It was not what he was expecting at all.
"How can this little bag contain so many items?"
"How? It's a spatial bag of holding, they are very expensive and it can contain lots of items. It's made using rare and powerful spatial magic. The guards must have scammed a lot of people because those bags are worth 100 gold pieces each. There's no way they get paid that much!"
"100 gold? If we sold these two bags we could lease a farm for 8 months. We really have made a killing today. This is way more efficient than hunting for spirit stones. We should just bluff people from now on hahaha"
