“There we were battling it out for the attention of Miss Alena. As you could see, all of us just nonstop asking her questions like ‘ how are you feeling today’, ‘would you like to have a drink with me later on’, blah blah blah,... She did not bat an eye on any of us, the furthest response any of us got from her was a smile and a short answer to our questions, she then quickly tried to ignore us and keep moving on. And then enter Kyle with one of the most unexpected and offensive lines you could ever imagine in this case.” Allan explained the situation.

“What did he say ?” Luna asked. Liam and Allan looked at each other, shrugged their shoulders then said “Hey lady, I told you to get me a drink like half an hour ago, how hard could it be, Oh my God the service in this place”.

“Huh ?” Luna and Maria replied.

“Yep that was truly it, he came in and spoke those words in the most obnoxious tone of voice then just turned his back and left. And a moment later, Miss Alena's face was red with anger and followed him right after.” Allan said.

“Everyone was stunned at his words and of course everyone could see how mad Alena was and did not try to stop her from going after Kyle. Well that's one way to get her attention I get, but i doubt that this would end well for Kyle, look” Liam nodded his head toward Kyle direction, he was walking at a relatively faster pace but Alena caught up eventually when he was near the entrance to the garden.

Anger could be seen on Alena's face and everyone who saw that step away from her, they knew that it was certainly not the time to get her attention. The four of them watched as Alena caught up to Kyle, clearly having a heated argument with Kyle in the beginning but then minutes later she left with him and went to the garden. Kyle signaled them to get the key that he left on the table that he just passed by. Their jaws dropped to the ground, Allan, Maria and Luna turned their eyes back at Liam expecting an explanation but Liam said

“Hey don’t look at me, never have I ever seen Kyle done anything like that in my life.”

Luna headed to the table and took the key, then Luna and Allan sneaked their way out of the main Ballroom and tried to get to Alena's bedroom. However, their road was not as smooth sailing as they would hope for, the only hope was that Kyle could stall Alena long enough for them to get back.

Kyle and Alena conversion:

Kyle headed straight to the garden entrance with Alena hot on his trail. He could hear her trying to call out to him but he acted as if he did not notice or did not care. Finally she caught him, forcing him to turn his back around and facing her face to face.

“What the hell did you just say to me, How dare you?” Alena angrily spoke, her purple eyes were firing daggers at Kyle and her face was red with anger.

“I am sorry Miss Alena, but it seems as though it was the only way for me to help you get out of that situation and get your attention” Kyle answered with a smile on his face.

“What are you talking about, I was completely fine before your rude interruption, don’t you dare try to change the subject” Alena was still full of anger.

“Are you really going to tell me that you actually enjoy getting surrounded by boring attention seeking men like that and having to fake your smile and laugh at their ever boring joke and cringe compliments ?” Kyle replied.

“Why do you think that I have to fake my own enjoyment ?” Alena asked.

“Because you didn’t really smile,” Kyle said, Alena's face shifted from anger to confusion “Of course I did,” said Alena.

Kyle laughed slightly then replied “No you did not, your mouth may smile but your eyes did not. Your eyes showed me that you were bored, like you have seen this happen a thousand times before, like you have to do this. How can someone who looks like that could actually be happy? Not to mention you never looked all those men in their eyes for more than a second before you tried to seek your way out of their”.

“So you noticed huh, I thought that I really did a good job of acting after so many years” Alena said.

“Let’s just say that it was something that I am too familiar with” Kyle replied

“But that is not an excuse to be rude to me !” Alena shifted her emotion again.

“I know, I am so very sorry Miss. Ah, let me make it up to you then. How about I will accompany you through your walk in this beautiful garden” Kyle said.

“Hah, why the hell do you think that I would agree to that?” Alena spoke.

“Because you really don’t want to head back to those boring boring men, acting like you were enjoying yourself to please those around you, which you probably do not know or care about, for the whole night. While you could just step out and have a nice conversation with a gentleman, who just pulled you out of your troublesome situation and let’s be honest, much more interesting than any of those guys back there, and just be your true self for the night.” Kyle replied with a smile on his face and spoke in his joyful and charming tone “ And most importantly, the way back to where you were seem so far away and the moonlight tonight seem more beautiful than usual”

Kyle then stepped to the right side of Alena waiting for her response, Alena turned her head around to see the crow of men just waiting for her to come back and even though she really did not want to admit it, Kyle was right, she did not want to go back and Kyle was the most interesting man she had talked to for a long time, it was clearly not an easy task to actually got the attention of such an ‘ice princess’ like her. She turned her back and looked at the entrance to her family garden and spoke to Kyle. “You are right Mr …”.

“Kyle, you can just call me Kyle,” Kyle said.

“How unfortunate for me, Mr Kyle,but you are correct, the moon is somehow more beautiful tonight” Alena said.

“And what about me Miss Alena, am I more interesting than those men who are waiting for you back there?” Kyle replied.

“I don’t know Mr Kyle, are you?” Alena said. “Would you like to know the answer ?” Kyle gave his left hand out to Alena and after a brief moment of thought, she took his and with a smile on her face. At that exact moment, unbeknown to Alena, Kyle already tried and successfully took the key away without her noticing.

“May I have the honor of accompanying you for this walk Miss Alena” Kyle asked again.

“You may,” said Alena. And the two head out to the garden.

On the other hand, while this lovely couple was enjoying their time together passing through the beautiful garden like in a fairy tale, another couple was sneaking their ways through the halls and stairs of the Turner’s mansion. Luna and Allan were finding their way to the top floor of the mansion but this house was like a maze. Guards sometimes roamed to the floors of the mansion and almost caught the two by surprise a couple of times. They were so close to the top floor, but they could not head upstairs right now as they could hear voices coming toward their direction.

“Are you sure no one is following us?” The elder man in white hair said. “Don’t worry Darius, there is a Ball downstairs, people are busing, having a good time and looking for a one night stand, they won’t come here”.

“How are the preparations for the Red wedding, Krul?” Darius said.

“The poison is ready so are the weapons, they won’t know what hit them” Krul answered.

“Poor little girl, but she had to pay the price, they knew better not to mess with us Lion guide” Darius replied. “What about at your end, has everyone received their share yet?”

“Don’t worry the city council will not intervene, this is what you call, family issue” Krul answered. They both laugh and leave the area.

“This really is going to be the wedding of the decade”.That was the last thing that Allan and Luna could hear.
