《Starvation March : Voidborn》Chapter 6 - Maniac

As I walked out of the building, a policeman began shouting the tipical "Drop the gun! We have you surrounded!"
Since he was nice enough to ask politely *snickers*, I obeyed and 'dropped' the 'gun', meaning I threw a whole lot of nothing.
The policemen, seeing this, probably figured that although I was disarmed, I probably was a super of sorts, so they kept caution but didn't fire at me, either due to the two kiddos I had by the neck or because they didn't have the approval yet.
Although supers would be strongly prefered, decimating the police could do as well. After all, I came here to build reputation, not to have fun... Well, maybe just a slight bit of fun, but work is important! Maybe.
Holding the two now unconscious kids (cut off air supply) in front of me, I shouted out "You have 5 seconds to kill yourselves before I kill these two, and then kill you all. Painfully." Honestly though, I'd probably find them even after they died and kill them again. I mean, I never did say 'how' to kill themselves right?
(Un)Fortunately, they did not listen and 5 seconds passed very slowly (for them). When the countdown reached zero I crushed the necks of the two kiddos before throwing them at the speed of sounds against one of the 6 police cars parked there.
The impact that followed threw the car back, but didn't do much damage. After all, you can't expect normal meat to crush metal that easily, and I did hold back.
Immediately, the police opened fire at me. I took it all in like the good girl I am and kept walking forward, ignoring the alarmed shouts of the policemen.
Picking up a nearby car, I smashed it against three policemen, followed by another group. And another.
Soon, we were playing a friendly game of tag where I'm the catcher, and if I catch them they die. Pretty horribly too, but those are smaaaaal details.
Soon, more and more policemen began arriving. I had, by now, moved a couple hundred meters from the shop and all I was really doing was sending people to good ol' Satan. He's such a nice guy, working so hard overtime...
Bored of playing with weaklings, I used my full speed for a split second. The next instance, the 40 or so policemen that had arrived found themselves with each of their limbs separated from their torso, heads included.
Unfortunately, the civilians had all evacuated the area, so I had nobody to play with anymore. Sighing in sadness, I picked up a random arm and tried eating it, only to remember I still had a mask on.
Since I did need to go to hell 3 times a week, I could not just ruin my normal identity. Furthermore, I had come up with a really cool nickname for my 'free time', so wasting the opportunity would be pretty stupid.
Finally, after 10 more minutes of killing the occasional idiot(policeman) that arrived, I heard a hovering like sound.
Looking up at the source, I was met with a punch straight in the face. Flung back hard, I hit a house's wall, which instantly fell on me.

Since the damage done to me was, well, non-existent, I focused my hearing on their conversation in order to get an idea of whether it would be worth it using these guys or waiting for someone stronger to appear.
"Good hit Maximus!" A girlish voice said. I could hear three different heartbeats on the ground and one that remained in the air, so 4 people in total.
"Yeah, I didn't expect that'd get that psyco. That's at least a death-row criminal though, look at all the deaths..." A boy, probably Maximus, said, his voice filled with disgust.
"I don't get how some people can turn into such monsters. She killed even the bystanders!" Said another girly voice, a different one then the other. Harem much?
"Guys, I can still sense her presence. I don't think we should be playing around now." Yet another girl said. Harem confirmed.
A huge boom resounded as all the rubble that had fallen on me was thrown to the sides. Getting up slowly, I began to laugh maniacally in a poor attempt at being a good villain.
"Kekeke... Heroes, is it? Sure took you a while to come here... Now, let me enjoy your screams!" I shouted and charged at the Maximus guy, who stood a towering 2 meters tall. That's quite a bit taller then me, but height isn't strenght, even if they rime.
Suprised, but still determined, Maximus roared and charged back at me. Our punches met, creating a strong gust of air.
Our 1v1 exchange continued for a minute, until Maximus suddently tripped me with a strange move. Although it only made me stagger, it was enough for Maximus to shout "Now!"
Suddently, a man-sized stone hand shot from the ground and grabbed me, then, the person hovering in the air flew down and dropped a whole bunch of things of me. And those things looked quite a lot like granades.
"Oh. Shi..." I didn't get to finish the sentence as 20 something bombs of all sorts exploded in my face, destroying the stone hand and supposedly me too in the process.
Breathing heavily, Maximus shouted "Good job! We got her! Angel, heal me!" The girl who had done nothing the whole time replied with a "Yes!" and I couldn't see the rest of what they did, but I assume she healed him.
The flying person (girl too) suddently shouted with fear in her voice "Careful! She isn't done for yet!"
Pissed off at her destroying my carefully planned successive scene, I threw a rock from behind the smoke wall that had formed. It fully hit her dead on, piercing right through her unprotected chest and through her heart.
The light in her eyes dimmed and she fell down. Ignoring the panicked screams, I slowly walked out of the smoke, my bloodlust ready to explode and devour everything around me.
Illusions of rivers of blood, corpses everywhere, darkened skies and wailing souls began appearing and, if I wasn't suppressing it to the extremes, these illusions could become a reality. The two girls screamed at me, slowly walking towards them, surrounded by bones, corpses and faces that appeared and faded.
"If I had trouble with a bunch of teenegers like you, I would never dare look at myself in the mirror. Become the stepping stone I need and DIE!" I screamed as two giant hammers, the handle over a meter long and the hammers at least the size of a person, appeared in both of my hands.

Charging at the annoying harem-seeker, I raised them both and prepared to smash him into oblivion. He had been long since paralized by my bloodlust. Seeing such a weak will, I couldn't help but snicker at him.
Then, the hammers descended.
And as the hammers descended, a person suddently appeared in between me and Maximus.
Raising his hands, the person blocked both hammers with a single hand each. A giant earthquake was created due to the aftermath and the three(four) heroes were sent flying away.
Letting out a stupid sounding "Huh?" I looked down at the person whom had the strenght to stop my somewhat strong hit. Of course, if I was to truly hit hard, this world would be done for, but I didn't.
Wearing an angel mask, the person laughed a bit before saying "Hello there, you having fun?"
Recognizing this voice, I screamed out in rage "YOU! IT'S ACTUALLY YOU! MOTHERFUCKER, WHY ARE YOU HEEEREEE???"
"Can't let you have all the fun now, can I?" Inside my mind, a telepathic message also appeared "I'm playing the hero. Play along and I'll give you an extra-sized chocolate egg at home."
Although he couldn't see it, though it felt as he could, I smiled brightly at the bribe and sent back a "Yes~!"
Separating ourselves by jumping in opposites direction, I looked at my enemy, my rival, my friend and my teacher all in one person.
Seeing my look, he laughed and said "What? Scared to act now? Weren't you bragging about not having trouble with heroes before?"
"Shut up scumface, you're different and you know it. However, I'll still tear you to pieceeeeees!" I screamed and rushed at him, only to suddently find myself confined in a small barrier.
Smashing my hammers on the barrier softly, the thing held. Frowning, I smashed them harder, and harder, and harder.
Even when I was going at it full strenght, the things held. This meant only one thing: God actually wanted to keep me here, which would be slightly annoying.
I kept smashing for 10 or so minutes until I saw him entering the barrier. I couldn't see the outside, so I wasn't sure of what he did, but since he wanted to be a hero he probably helped the girl I killed and brought the heroes to safety.
As he entered, the barrier disappeared and I felt several scouts now being all around. Grinning, I figured he probably had the same goal as me: to build up reputation.
"Well, how should I call you, dear?" He said with a small laugh.
"S-shut it! Rather, what's YOUR nickname brain-dead maggot?" I shouted back, irritated at his usage of friendly terms. We're enemies for fucks sake! It's not like I'm actually embarassed.
"Haha, well, you can call me Overseer. It fits me, don't you think?" It did.
"No, it sucks. Your naming sense is worst then a bug's, and bugs don't have a naming sense. Call me Maniac, you dickfaced retard." I said without a hint of joking, but he shrugged and simply shot back "It's not like your naming sense is any better. Rather, we should actually fight, else someone else might steal our little show, don't you thinK?"
"For once, I agree." I said and prepared my hammers. Suddently disappearing from sight, I reappeared in front of him and swooped my hammers in a pincer motion with him inbetween.
Jumping up just in time, he avoided the hammers and roundhouse kicked me, but I blocked it with the hilt of one of the hammers. An electrical shock at least a couple billions in volts followed his kick, but I endured and smashed him with my other hammer as he kept up his attack.
Whilst he flew back, I followed right after him and smashed like the Maniac I am whenever he touched the ground. However, due to his backpedaling and already higher momentum, he kept dodging all of my attempts.
The ground cracked and shattered, buildings were pulverized, the random innocent that hadn't evacuated (several of them) were turned into meatpaste by our exchange.
Then, he suddently flew up into the skies and several spears began appearing all around him. And by several, I mean hundreds of thousands.
Seeing him go somewhat serious, I grinned heavily and shouted "Hey bitch, you know what I've been doing all these decades!? Well, guess what, I've been inventing a new technique! Be proud of me you shit!"
Throwing both my arms up with my hands in a cup position, I brought out a small portion of my core out to my hands. From outside, it would look like as if a black hole had suddently appeared in my hands.
Of course, this was a very hard and risky move, as well as very hard to master. But still, I succeded.
"Hmm. The laws of devouring are very similar to those of gravity. I see you fused them to the most basic level. Try harder next time, as that's not gonna help you." He said through telepathy, suprising me at how he figured it out.
As the heavenly spears rained, a tremendous amount of gravity appeared in the black hole, eating up almost all of the spears. Still, some of them found their way past and impaled me, but those could be counted on two fingers.
"Damn you!" I said after reabsorbing my core back into my body. Seeing that by now I had taken enough damage, I had to retire, or this would turn into a real fight, and I couldn't do that.
"I'll be baaaack you biiitchhhh!!! I'll rip off your skull and shove it up your anussss!!!" I screamed before waltzing outta there at tremendous speeds, breaking the speed of light. In a matter of instances, I was back at my home, our home.
Throwing away my mask, I sat on my bed after a bit of calming down and held my cleshire plushie close. It's a good thing nobody was there to see that single tear that slid down my face, or it would've been quite embarassing.

The book of forever
An experimental diary of sorts recounting my life and experiences, written as a slightly whimsical scifi story about setting off from the past to unknown lands, rebuilding from nothing and finding myself again. The first section of the book contains matched chapters, a chapter for a interlude, both happening at the same time roughly The second section of the book contains more one off stories as we follow one of the travelers explore their heart as well as a unknown land, growing in the process. All of the text here was written in 10 syllable chunks, this reads like a epic of sorts, just with more philosophical focus and POV jumps. Hope you enjoy! >Updates may be sporadic as I only write when I have something about myself I want to share The chapters can all be read individually, although there may be some crossovers between them they work as single poems. You start at whatever chapter you want since these are a collection of roughly connected poems (although you'll notice tie ins and references to eachother)
