I wanted to lie in bed, but i kept hearing voices, they were getting louder and louder, I could not help but to wake up. To my surprise i saw Kubo and Taguchi, they looked happier than usual. I rubbed my eyes and looked at the time, it was 8 am.

''What do you guys want so early in the morning'' I asked with a tired voice.

''Hurry up and look'' Taguchi said with a loud voice and reached into his pocket.

''You won't regret it'' Kubo said with a loud voice.

Taguchi took out his phone and gave it to me, it had a website open. It was the official website for fishing news, I kept on reading. The more I read the happier I got.

''This is unbelievable'' I shouted.

Chewchew woke up and jumped up to my bed. I quickly rushed out of my bed and went downstairs, where the living room is.

''Quickly, let us see if the morning news has something to say on the television'' I said.

Taguchi, Kubo and Chewchew all went down the stairs following me. I turned on the television and put on the news channel, the intro was playing, just in time.

We all stood there waiting until the news reporter came up, suddenly the scene switched to a news reporter.

''Hello and welcome to Japan's morning news, today we got news from the official fishing licensing school, the exams for the fishing licenses are now open'' she said.

We were all happy, jumping, singing, all sorts of stuff. Even with all the shouting going on, I knew I still had to listen.

I was playing along, I had a big smile on my face, but I was focusing on my hearing. I started shaping words with my mouth to try to convince myself that I was singing so no one could interrupt.

They didn't really care since they were so happy.

''Applications for the exam will start today at 9 am'' I vaguely heard from the news reporter.

I tried to listen more, I could see her talking, but the shouting was too loud, then luckily, a black screen appeared with the text saying ''more info in the official fishing license site''.

''Hey Taguchi'' I shouted with a serious face.

Taguchi looked so scared, almost like there was a crocodile right Infront of him.

''Y-Yes'' he said quietly.

I knew he was scared, so I quickly changed my expression to a more friendly face.

''Would you mind giving me your phone for a quick minute'' I asked.

''Yes of course'' he said and quickly took out his phone.

He gave his phone and i started reading from the site.

''The applications will be held in Tokyo, 9 am, 14th of may'' I read.

I looked up only to see Kubo and Taguchi scared as hell and so was I. It was 8:10 am, how am i going to be there in time I asked myself.

''You have to take a train right now to Tokyo; you have no time to waste'' Kubo shouted.

''He's right, you need to start moving right now'' Taguchi shouted too.

I quickly picked up Chewchew and went to put on my shoes and jacket. I took with me my fishing net, my fishing rod and all my worms that were in a plastic box.

''I will have to take my bike to the train station, you guys won't be able to keep my company'' I told Kubo and Taguchi.

''That's all right with us, as long as you get there safe'' Kubo said.

I gave them a thumbs up and then quickly took my bike and rode away. It takes me about 10 minutes to get to the Kashiwa (a city in Japan) train station.

It takes me about 40-42 minutes to get to Tokyo and about 10 minutes to the application center in Tokyo. I must make it before 9, otherwise I will not get a chance to get in.

51 Minutes Later

I finally got off the train in Tokyo. The difference between Tokyo and Kashiwa is huge. There are a lot more people here, much more crowded.

I looked down at my small pocket in my jacket to see if Chewchew was all right. Chewchew is a very weird dog.

Unlike other dogs he is much smaller and much more energetic. He is as big as a normal puppy; I went to the vet not so long ago to see how old he really was.

The answer i got was that he is full grown, but the vet has no idea what breed he is, she had never seen a dog like Chewchew, which makes me want to have him even more.

He was sleeping quietly with a smile on his face. My jacket was deep brown, while Chewchew's silver white fur stood out.

I looked at my watch to see what time it was, the time was 8:52 am. How will you be able to get there in time?

I could hear my stomach crying for food, I saw a Takoyaki stand not too far away. Should i take the risk by getting Takoyaki and then running to the application center, or should i run now?

I cannot stand too long thinking about an answer. I looked at my watch again, it was 8:53 am.
