As we entered the area where the Mukoili Yeti was. Stomp! Stomp! Stomp! Footsteps crashed on the cavern floor, bringing some of the stalactites crashing down. A roar shattered some of the rock walls in the area, and I could see the sound waves vibrating and breaking the rock!!!! Alright Iris, definitely the Mukoili Yeti. Not so brave anymore, am I? I made a plan with Iris, then jumped off of Iris using my magic summoning magic to summon a griffin, then yelled shakily, “Hey you, you big dumb beast! Over here! Try to catch me! Bet your roar won’t even crack my armor!”
The Mukoili Yeti growled in rage, then charged straight ahead. I realized the Yeti intended to pin me and the griffin onto the cave wall. I quickly released the summon of the griffin, dropping quickly, then landing on my raft, pulled by some pegasi I had summoned earlier, in case this happened. I looked around. Iris was nowhere to be seen. Good. Everything was going according to plan.
“Hey, big dumb-dumb! Bet you can’t fight this!” I held up Revanis. The Mukoili Yeti pulled its claws out of the wall; shing! then roared angrily and charged yet again. This time, I jumped up and slashed down with Revanis.
I used the Yeti’s momentum against it, somersaulting in midair and striking its eye with Kosmar. Then I realized: I was out of energy. I fell to the ground, with nothing that could save me.

In other words, very typical isekai stuff. The chapters will be between 2000 and god-only-knows-how-many words and will be released every three days at 8 am, CST. I don't actually live in America so if chapter release is off by an hour or so, it's probably either because I messed up with the time, or because I was unable to finish a chapter on time-, The artwork on the cover belongs to yours truly, I drew it myself and I'm darn tootin' proud of it, and Omni is my dear co-writer who got me this far. This is my first real attempt at writing a full novel, but the story is based on a world that I've been creating and re-creating since I was a child. I have an extensive "history" and religion, and even a semi-cohesive language system worked out, which will hopefully slowly shine through as the story progresses. I want to avoid having too many info-dumps, so I may from time to time post a bonus lore chapter that will explain some of the background for any who are interested.
