《Another World? Never Saw This Coming》Chapter 1 (What a forest!)

The last thought going through John’s mind was: ‘well crap this day really could have gone better’
As the store building collapsed debris were scattered all over the street causing a massive dust cloud to start forming.
John had closed his eyes momentarily thinking he was going to be crushed, when he opened his eyes he thought he was safe and looked down.
The moment he locked eyes with the man he had tackled, he knew something was wrong, the man was looking at him with a horrified face.
John slowly looked down and noticed a nice piece of rebar sticking through his chest.
As his vision started fading and his lungs started filling with blood he looked the man right in his eyes and said: “I know it looks bad but don’t worry you’ll live” the moment he said that he collapsed as his vision quickly darkened his last thought was ‘I hope that sounded cool’.
John felt his conscience returning slowly and his first thought was ‘did they bring me back?’
However he felt something was off, he clenched his fist and got a handful of grass immediately he became alert and opened his eyes.
Once his eyes were opened his view was filled with trees, trees everywhere.
John had gone to multiple state parks when he was little and seen the trees in the Redwood Forest, but compared to those the trees he was staring at now dwarfed any tree in his memory.
John then looked down at his chest and noticed a hole in his clothes but when he lifted his shirt there was thankfully, no wound on his chest he sighed in relief and quickly checked his pockets.
He currently had a pocket knife, a cellphone, a fire starter, and his trusty watch.
“Well at least if worst comes to worse I can keep warm, alright first off let’s find a road or town or at least some kind of life” John muttered to himself as he started walking.

After walking for a solid 3 hours John was exhausted but had thankfully found a nice spring fed stream and after testing the water with his hand, he found that it was nice and cold and proceeded to drink as much as possible.
After drinking his fill he figured next step would be to find some kind of shelter for the night it seemed like the sun was setting and he figured it would be a bad idea to stay out in the open during night time.
John started scaling a tree that was average size and after finding a branch that could hold his weight he started to drift off thanking the heavens for his amazing ability to not move while sleeping.
The next morning John figured he would need some kind of food so he went off in search of anything edible.
After carving sticks into barbed spears using his knife he started spear fishing, while standing in the icy water his legs soon went numb, but he ignored the feeling for now and carefully eyed the rushing water.
After an hour of leg numbing cold, he had failed a solid 36 times but for the sake of food he kept trying.
Just then John caught a glimpse of a slightly dark shape in the river and threw the spear with all his might, apparently 37 times was the charm.
When John retrieved the spear, there was a weird large pink colored fish on the end of it.
In all his years fishing with his father he had never once, encountered a solid pink fresh water fish but due to hunger pains he decided to ignore the weirdness of the color and brought the fish to the fire he set up.
After enjoying a meal of pink fish which tasted a bit like catfish John began to follow the river down-stream in hopes of finding civilization.

After walking for another 3 hours John saw his first signs of civilization, a road.
With a relieved expression on his face John began to advance toward the road but what he heard next made his blood chill.
He heard a scream in the distance and he started running full speed towards the sound.
What he encountered next though would confirm to John that he was no longer on earth.
A group of five Goblins and one large Ogre type creature were attacking a small carriage with a wagon attached to the back of it.
Now John was no Weeaboo or a shut in, but let’s just say that he had a really rough summer and ended up watching a solid 70+ anime’s and reading 15+ light novels not to mention playing multiple video games, which was why he called the creatures Goblins and Ogre’s, he also knew that he should probably help whoever was being attacked, and if what he remembered from those stories was true he should have some kind of power or ability.
But in order to not risk the possibility that those were just completely fake he decided to fight them without attempting to activate some kind of special ability.
Why was John about to charge these monsters without a second thought you might ask?
Well John had heard a scream earlier and assumed that a person was being hurt and immediately he felt the strong urge to help them it was a flaw in his personality but at the moment he didn’t care all he thought about was how to best take down these monsters.
John tightened his grip on the spear in his right hand and he readied his knife in his left and started charging the monsters.

Marrow
Marrow was old... older than me or you. Older than the nation he lived in. And older than anyone he knew. Which is not surprising, because he did not know anyone else. He had been sitting, or perhaps leaning is the more apt expression, in a closet for many, many years, and had done nothing but stare. But eating, or rather chewing, a spider opened up another world to him. A world with a voice that was talking to him - to HIM! Marrow did not get what the voice was saying, but that was secondary at this point. And Marrow started to feel restless. Nuff said. If you like a sometimes quirky skeleton as the main character and want to ride along for its coming of age, or perhaps rather coming of sapience story... give it a shot. It is a litrpg context with skills, levels, heroes and monsters... and a skeleton. Not sure yet how fast the skeleton will level... we'll have to wait and see. As a disclaimer... this is my secondary novel... my main story is ongoing and most of my time is dedicated to that. As such, new chapters will, at first, be rather infrequent and irregular. If things go well, I may shift more attention to the story, but we shall see how things go.

In the Naruto world (1)
Chris Walker was teleported to the world of Naruto. He didn't die, rather someone or something teleported him there for no apparent reason. (Or did he?) The world of Naruto doesn't follow the same script as the original Naruto series. The whole world of Naruto is so much different, even though Chris has watched the entire naruto series, it won't help him at all since everything in Naruto is different. And now Chris has to survive in this new world of Naruto I do not have any rights to the Naruto or the cover either, this is only a hobby to write fan-fiction light novels. WARNING: If you hate harem, then this novel isn't for you. There will never be any sexual content in this novel. And i'll try my best to not let the harem ruin this novel. There are potentially only 5 harem members on it, NO MORE THAN THAT AMOUNT. And yes, I am sorry for not keeping my word for this novel, and included a harem in it. I didn't want it either, because it means more work for me. But I did a poll and harem won. I am sorry for that, and please forgive me. This novel also includes OP mc, for those who don't like OP Mc's. And this also includes light Sasuke and Sakura bashing, only in the early part of the story, but then changes after. And this also includes more characters. Sincerely, Lodoly.
