《She's dead》Chapter 4

Third person - after the youngest twins went upstairs.

The whole family apart from the youngest twins and Blaze were sitting in the living room with pain in their eyes. Meet. That's what she said. Nice to meet you. She didn't remember them. She didn't remember her family. It hurt them so much that she didn't remember her family but maybe it was for the best. If she didn't remember them then she didn't remember the things they said the day they gave her away.

Meanwhile Blaze walked out of his room just as the twins got the sapphires room. He followed them and listened through the door as his little brother cutely rambled to his twin about his room designing. "I love it. It's perfect. My favourite colours" he heard her say. Wow, I guess we really don't know anything about her he thought. He continued to listen but stopped after he heard the pain in her voice when she said she remembered them all.

As he walked away, he was in a daze. He ignored each of his brothers and father and walked straight to the gym. All that was going through his head was that she remembers them. She remembers what they said to her that day 12 years ago. She is in pain and it's because of them.

He didn't realise he was punching the punching bag so hard until it flew of the chain. He turned to see his older brothers and father standing there in shock, they knew he had anger issues but he they had never seen him so angry, so in pain. He ignored them once more and walked straight past them to his room, purposely bumping his fathers shoulder, locked his door and sat with his head in his hands, not caring about the blood dripping from the splits in his knuckles.

"She remembers" he whispered to himself. The rest of the family still stood in the gym looking at the open door wondering what the hell just happened. Especially their father after seeing how he bumped him purposely. Meanwhile in sapphire room...

Elias' POV -

"Fire, who's oceana?" I hesitantly asked. She smiled slightly at the name before her face once more showed pain. "Oceana Grey Romano, is my daughter. Was. Was my daughter" she whimpered. Daughter. I'm an uncle? Wait was? Does that mean? "It's okay, I'm here now and I'll never leave you" I said. After a few minutes I once again questioned anxiously, "what do you mean was fire? And how did you have a daughter so young baby?"

There was a lingering silence in the air before she whispered "dead. She's dead Ellie. And it's my fault. We were mugged one night and I couldn't protect her soon enough. She died because Im weak." I cradled her in my arms as she cried "your not weak fire. Your a child" I said before asking once more, "you didn't finish fire, how did you have a child so young."

"You don't have to answer if you don't want to" I quickly said after a pregnant pause not wanting to pressure her. "No it's fine I'll tell you. I trust you and only you. But you have to promise you will tell no one not even our family"

"I promise"

" I was raped. I was raped by my foster brother on my 14th birthday" she said quietly so only I could hear.

No. Nonononono she couldn't have been. She was supposed to be safe. We sent her away to keep her safe not so she could be sexually abused. "did any of you foster families do anything other than that" I thought aloud.

"That for another night Ellie. I'm tired. Will you stay with me tonight" as if she had to ask. I haven't seen her in 12 years I'm not leaving her again I thought as I carried her to bed before sliding in beside her, wrapping my arms round her to provide some kind of comfort, anything.

I lay staring blankly at the ceiling before saying after what felt like hours " you know they didn't mean anything they said that day. That really do love you sapphire"

"I know. They thought they were keeping me safe. But that doesn't make it hurt any less" she tiredly whispered before her breathing evened out and she was finally asleep. My last thought before I too drifted off was- how does she know they'd sent her away to keep her safe?

Third person -

After all his children had gone to bed he walked quietly to check on his principessa before he also went to sleep. As he got to her room which was beside blazes and opposite Elias', he saw his two youngest children cuddled up together in sapphire bed sleeping soundly.

As he watched their chests steadily rise up and down he felt pity. Pity for his twins that had been apart for so long. He knew Elias was not happy, no matter how much he plastered on a smile, the only time he's seen it be real was when he was playing basketball and with his twin, he knew he felt empty inside without her. His other half.

Sighing he walked out of her room and to his own where he trudged to his bed and drifted off with a small smile playing at his lips. His principessa was home and he was going to make up for their years apart.
